Chapter 2

A smile broke out on a young girl's face as she hung up the phone. With her blonde locks falling into her face, partially covering her blue-gray eyes, she started laughing with pure joy. She cradled her phone in her hands, treating it as if it were the most precious thing in the world.

"She's coming" she whispered, shutting her eyes and tilting her head up. "She's finally going to be here"

Maddie leaned against the wall before sliding down to the floor. Crossing her legs Indian style, she let her true emotions loose. Beating her feet against the floor, arms flailing wildly around her, and laughing like a crazy woman, Maddie quickly became the happiest person within the walls of the Portland Sports Arena.

Tonight, Portland held WWE RAW within its city limits, and Maddie was currently supposed to be helping John Cena, instead of becoming a crazier version of AJ and blatantly ignoring all of her duties as one of the assistant medical personnel. Though, in Maddie's case, her job was more along the lines of making sure her four charges, which used to be only one, were ready to go through the curtain and wrestle a great match. Those four charges are the four men many would never have guessed. Yet, when they realize who they are, they're not surprised.

The phone between her hands was starting to become sweaty, and her throat began to burn from the dryness starting the consume it. She tried to calm herself down by taking deep breaths, getting up from the floor and starting towards catering, a smile never leaving her face.

As she passed the bystanders taking up room in the hallway, many were leery of the look in her eyes, but she didn't care, she was on cloud nine, and nothing could taint the high that she was feeling at this moment. Finally, the long-awaited return of everyone's favorite kid (that isn't related to them of course) and also their most feared adversary (due to the constant pranks that are pulled by the rebellious outcast, with the help of the cheer queen and the indie artist), has been set tonight on Monday Night RAW!

And the best part about it? No one else knows!

Maddie was too euphoric to really care about the consequences of not informing her 4 charges of her plans, due to the fact that those charges, and Maddie herself, have not been on the best of terms since she got involved with a mutual "enemy" between 3 of them, but an ally to the 4th. The enemy/ally happened to be none other than Dean Ambrose, by far the most eccentric out of the devastating group simply called "The Shield".

He also happens to be Maddie's boyfriend.

Within the first week of The Shield's debut at Survivor Series, Maddie had bumped into Dean a few times, first being when he was shirtless and warming up with the boys right before the debut, which had her turning tomato red before ducking out and wondering what was wrong with her. Second being when he and John Cena were arguing with each other over something stupid after the paperview, which ended in the two getting pulled away from each other by referees and calmed down on opposite sides of the building, with Maddie attending to Dean while Vince had a stern conversation with John, and it's easy to say the meeting between Maddie and Dean was memorable. The third being backstage on RAW the next night, Maddie signaling to The Shield that they were about to head out when he came up and asked "You wanna go out?" and she blushingly said "Yes", and that's it.

It was so simple, so easy, that Maddie was convinced it was going to be a one night stand for him, so she waited a few weeks before sleeping with him, just to see if that was what he really wanted, and was extremely pleased to see that she was wrong. He buys her flowers, lets her hang with the guys, taught her how to play halo and didn't make fun of her when it took her a long time to learn (oh who am I kidding, he was laughing his ass off), and is her shoulder to cry on when things get rough backstage for her. He was kind of the perfect boyfriend, for her at least.

So when she was walking down the hallway, with her sweaty phone in hand and her boots squeaking away on the floor, it wasn't a surprise that the one and only Dean Ambrose brought her out of her euphoria induced mind.

"Dean!" she yelled, running over to him as he smiled his wicked smile.

"Hey Madeline" he chuckled, catching her as she jumped into his arms.

He grunted in pleasure as she landed on his chest, wrapping his arms around her small body, hugging her close.

"How you doing baby?" he sighed into her neck, loving the smell of her perfume.

She wrapped his arms around his neck, sighing in content, "I'm doing amazing".

She pulled her head back to show off her grin to him, causing him to laugh at her.

"Why are you so happy today? Still coming off our little detour from last night?"

Maddie started feeling the red light up her cheeks as she remembered the night before, and in a way she still was coming down from the high that she felt from the amazing events that occurred. She lightly slapped him on his chin, knowing he was remembering last night as well, in full detail.

"Somewhat, it was pretty…..epic" she reluctantly admitted to him, not wanting to enlarge his ego even more.

Sure enough, she would swear she saw his head get bigger as he straightened up his back and grinned with victory, making her laugh in the process.

"For describing amazing events in one word, "Epic" is truly the best one you can choose."

"Well I don't know about that, how about…Unforgettable?"

"Not as edgy, but good nonetheless." He commented with ease, setting her feet on the ground, and started playing her hair.

"Awesome?"

"Too much like The Miz, I used to love that word, but now I hate it because he can't stop himself from saying it all the time, such a waste." He kissed her forehead, whispering his words against her skin.

She shivered at his touch, wrapping her arms around his waist and resting her head on his chest.

"Bold? Daring? Grandiose?" She joked, loving the way his chest moved as he laughed.

"Good choices, good choices. Bold is a good one, daring is great, and you must be reading a freaking dictionary if you know what grandiose means." The two of laughed as Dean leaned them against the wall, both completely unaware of the stares they were receiving from the superstars and other employees from catering, which was only a few yards down the hall from the pair.

"Actually I did have a quick look at a thesaurus this morning when I woke up; I wanted to smart up for my little surprise today."

"Surprise? For me?" He rapidly blinked his eyes, looking as innocent as he could with his wicked eyes sparking with humor.

"No" Maddie laughed, lightly punching him in the chest, he feigned hurt, but otherwise paid attention, "it's for my charges."

"You mean Superman, snake boy, and William Wallace?"

"John has too much pride to be Superman; Randy is not a boy by any means necessary and is a Viper, not some ordinary garden snake; Sheamus is Irish, not Scottish, which means he'd end up being the leprechaun on the Lucky Charms cereal box instead. Also, you're forgetting the guy who you have been helping for the past few weeks against not only Ryback, but Cena as well."

"Paul is the reason we're helping him out, aside from the storyline we got that tells us too. So far I like it; I just hope we get to beat up SuperCena again."

"Well, for tonight at least, can you and The Shield hold back the beat down until the guys see my surprise?"

"What is your surprise anyway? You still haven't told me."

"I don't want it getting out, but I will tell you that it's a person I would absolutely love for you to meet, considering she is my best friend in the whole wide world."

"Ah" Dean smiled, beginning to chuckle, "am I finally going to meet the infamous Jessie Night?"

Maddie nodded, laughing at the image of those two meeting, "Along with her two friends from school, yes" she shook her head when she thought about them, "I'm really not a fan of those two, they always seem to get her into the worst kind of trouble, but she won't drop them, and for the life of me I can't understand why."

"I don't know babe, but it shouldn't matter. Jessie's coming back, with them or without them; you finally get to see your bestie again."

Dean gently grabbed Maddie's chin and made her look at him, he gently smiled before kissing her on the lips.

"No matter what happens, you'll be happy by the end of the night" he whispered to her, touching her forehead with his own.

"You always know what to say" she whispered back, slightly smiling.

"I know" he whispered darkly in her ear before pecking her on the cheek and releasing her.

"Where are you going?" she laughed, her head following him as he walked around her.

"Locker Room, I have to find out who's getting their asses kicked tonight."

"Or who you're opponents will be for TLC?"

"Oh please, we already know we'll be stuck with Ryback and Team Hell No, the only good thing about it is that we get to beat the shit out of Ryback again."

"And you'll be wrestling a tag team of ring veterans in Kane and Daniel Bryan."

"True, true; be as it may, those two can't handle The Shield"

"Which is why they have Ryback in their corner, even the odds a little bit?"

"Reigns will handle Ryback, and once he's gone, it'll be a piece of cake."

"Don't get cocky" Maddie chastised, smiling as she did so.

"Go make peace before your surprise gets here, or you won't be getting any of this tonight."

He winked as Maddie gawked at him, shocked that he successfully used her own ploy against her.

"You stole my line" Maddie scoffed, crossing her arms and shaking her head, unable to get rid of her smile.

He merely shrugged, "Seems fair to me"

"How so?"

"Because baby, you steal a piece of my heart every time you smile at me."

"Awe" she awed, laughing as he walked back over to her.

He picked her up and swung her around in a circle, making her laugh even more, and when she least expected it; he kissed her full on the mouth. Returning his kiss, they went into a full make out session; tongue's slipping into each other's mouths wrestling for dominance. Dean won this time, his tongue slightly massaging hers before he went exploring; their lips still moving. The world around them still was nothing but a blur to them. To them, the only clear thing was the other person, with roaming hands and heated skin.

Then of course they were interrupted by a blurry figure, who when they came into focus, turned out to be none other than the Celtic Warrior Sheamus, who was currently drinking a Gatorade with his buddy from Smackdown, The Viper Randy Orton.

Maddie couldn't stop the grimace from coming onto her face when she noticed the two of them standing a few feet away from her, but she wasn't ashamed, she was just embarrassed that she was once again caught making out with Dean Ambrose, the "Enemy" of the locker room.

"Hey guys" she shyly said, tucking a lock of her hair behind her ear as she took a small step away from Dean, but grabbed his hand in the process so he wouldn't be hurt. He gently squeezed back, straightening up his spine as he nodded to the two ring veterans standing in front of him.

Other than slightly nodding back to him, they didn't take much notice to him.

"So lass, what brings you to these parts?" Sheamus asked sweetly, a smile adorning his face as always.

She returned the smile, relieved that it was Sheamus and Randy who caught her today, instead of John or Punk; it was always blown out of proportion when those two found her and Dean making out, too stuck in their own world to notice anyone else. She had to admit though, she would much rather have Punk catch her instead of John because the worst thing Punk will do is not speak to her for a few days, John would go off the wall and even throw anything he could get his hands, turning into a raging animal on his best days, but had enough frame of mind to not throw anything directly at her. He usually does it to scare her, which it usually does.

Easy to say, she is very relieved to have Sheamus and Randy find her.

"I was just going to get a drink from catering while I'm on break, even though I'll basically be on break until the show starts up. I was also going to find you guys too, I really need to tell you something."

She let go of Dean's hand at this point, which he took as his cue to go.

"Good luck babe, see you at the hotel." He kissed her cheek swiftly and winked before nodding to the guys once more before leaving.

Randy watched him leave, a scowl adorning his handsome face, until he was out of view. Once he was officially gone, the scowl left his face and was replaced with his calm, mildly amused, expression.

"What do you need to tell us?" He asked her, curious.

"I can only tell you if you promise you won't tell John or Phil, and if you can get someone from around here to pick up the surprise I have planned."

"Then you won't be able to tell us because I'm going to end up telling John, and Danny Boy here will end up spilling the beans to Punk."

Sheamus looked at Randy with a smirk for a minute, and then he shrugged it off, knowing he was right.

"Yeah I probably would, but on the other hand I could always give good ole Ricardo a call and ask him to pick up the surprise? But I'm going to have to tell him, and probably Berty, who they're picking up if they decide to do it. So, if you want this person to have a ride, you'll have to tell us either way."

Randy nodded his agreement, and they both stood in front of her with their arms crossed, waiting. She merely smiled, rolling her eyes in the process. She thought about it for a second, debating whether or not she should make them guess, ease them up to it, tell them outright, she just didn't know, and then when Randy started to roll his eyes and walk off, she just said it.

"Jessie's coming to RAW tonight!" she yelled excitedly, and started jumping up and down as the excitement hit her once again.

The reaction of the two men in front of her was almost instant, starting out with the most shocked expressions she had ever seen on them, and then the biggest grin shined upon Randy's face that Maddie had ever seen.

"You're joking!" Sheamus laughed with his eyes big and his grin even bigger.

"I'm not! Jessie is going to be here, tonight!" she yelled again, acting like a twelve year old hyped up on too much sugar. "I got her front row seat tickets and backstage passes, and the biggest surprise yet, but it'll have to wait until I tell John."

"So that's why you don't want us telling him, or Phil?" Sheamus asked, confusion hindering his excitement.

Maddie only nodded, too excited to really think about it.

That was until Randy asked "Why?"

"Because I want to form some sort of peace treaty with the two, and the only way I can do that is if I tell them the most important part of the surprise."

"Why won't you tell us?"

"Like you said so yourself, you'll end up telling them before I get the chance too."

"I'll give you my drink?" offered Sheamus, weakly handing out his fruit punch flavored Gatorade.

She only shook her head, and then rolled her eyes before heading to catering.

"Make sure Ricardo can take her, if not I'll have to tell her she'll have to come here herself, and who knows what'll happen if she gets here early with no one the wiser?"

"When do you think she'll get here?" Randy asked, anxious to know.

"I just got off the phone with her about 10-15 minutes ago, and she was leaving right as I got off the phone with her. Seeing as she lives in Medford, she'll make it here right before the show starts, but that really depends on whoever's driving."

"So she'll call you when she gets here?"

"And when she does I will call you, seeing as I don't have either Ricardo's or Alberto's numbers, so I'll call you or tell you if you're nearby."

"Alright, sounds like a deal" smiled Sheamus, patting Maddie on the shoulder, "Good luck with John lass."

"Yeah, you're going to need it, a lot of it." Randy winked at me, and then walked away from catering, chattering away with Sheamus about some of their favorite Jessie moments.

Which, unsurprisingly, there were A LOT.

Maddie sighed, seeing John and Punk talking away with each other at one of the many tables in the cafeteria.

She took a deep breath, wordlessly sent up a prayer, and blew out the air.

"Here we go"

Crazy Ride

An hour later

"I still can't believe we're actually using Jordan's van" I slightly complained from the backseat of his AWESOME 60's van, sitting on the furry red carpet, randomly strumming my guitar.

"We didn't have much of a choice" Haley groaned from the passenger seat, and was too busy filing her nails to really care about my comments.

"Even though it would've been a lot safer if we had taken JJ's car instead" Chloe wheezed, and when I saw the expression on her face I couldn't stop myself from laughing.

"Babe, we already went over this!" Haley yelled, throwing her nail filer into the back seat and hitting me in the face.

"Ow!" I yelped, sending her a glare.

"Sorry" she shrugged, and I flipped her off in return before she continued, "we chose the mystery machine because Jessie knows how to fix the brakes. She doesn't know how to fix engines; therefore, if we had decided to take JJ's mustang, not only would Jessie be asleep in the backseat because of the lack of room for her feet, she wouldn't be able to fix the engine if it happened to break on us, which we know it will."

Chloe's mortified expression almost instantly disappeared, and was replaced by her lovey dovey expression, until I just had to interrupt the make-out session that was about to ensue.

"Dude, you totally got your facts mixed up" I informed her, looking up from my guitar to stare at Haley's face, which was turned slowly turned towards me.

"What do you mean?" she asked carefully, her eyes slightly bigger with the incoming fear. Even Chloe tilted her head towards me, while still keeping her eyes on the road.

"I don't know how to fix brakes, and even if I did, this model is too ancient for me to actually wonder where to start, let alone actually fix them."

"WHAT!" screamed Chloe, looking at me full on, and letting go of the steering wheel in the process.

"Hands on the Wheel! HANDS ON THE WHEEL!" I shouted to her, dropping my guitar and lurching forward as she turned back.

"AHHH!" the three of us screamed as we narrowly dodged the truck beside us in the other lane. With a series of honks after us, Chloe punched the accelerator and I kept the steering wheel as still as I could from my precarious position. My upper body was being supported by the 3 inch thick front seat, along with Haley's hands keeping me steady at my sternum and the top portion of my right boob. My lower body was currently in the air, with one of my feet somehow keeping my guitar standing up right.

The three of us sighed in relief as the honks began to subside.

"Okay Chloe, you okay to take the wheel?" I asked her, glancing at her quickly.

"Give it to Haley"

"You got it" I replied, scooting back as Haley released me and took hold of the leather covered wheel.

I caught my guitar before setting it down back in its case, snapping the locks shut before shoving it into the corner.

"So you can do engines, but not brakes?" Haley asked, driving one-handed as she wrapped an arm around Chloe's shoulders.

"Yep, I mean, I might be able to do something if we happen to stop, but there's no way I'm going to figure it out at high speeds."

"Good point" and then all of a sudden she shouted at the top of her lungs, "Oh My God!"

"What?" I yelled, and all she did was point in the side mirror.

"Look" she yelped, starting to shake.

Sure enough, I did, and wasn't that shocked to see his big black truck in the process. What I was shocked to see was JJ and Jordan in the front/backseat with him, and that Jordan was pissed.

That's when it hit me.

"You stole the brakeless piñata?" I accused Haley, and Chloe was about to defend her, until she saw Haley's grimace. She gave the wheel back to Chloe, who gasped as she took it gingerly in her hands.

"Look" Haley begged, "It was either steal Jordan's car, or sell you out to go out on another date with Wes so we could use his truck for tonight, but only if the guys could come with."

"You what!" shouted Chloe, who almost turned back to look at Haley, before we both shouted "Eyes on the Road!" just barely avoiding another truck.

"Before we continue this argument can you two please switch places before Chloe kills us or has another panic attack, which will probably end up killing us?!" I shouted at the lovebirds, tired of almost hitting my head on one of the seats.

"Are you crazy?!" Haley shouted at me, her eyes wide with anger.

"If we switch now we'll end up dying for sure!"

"Put your closet skills to the test or move over and give me the wheel!" I shouted at them, hooking my fingers into the shaggy carpet and holding on for dear life, Chloe couldn't keep the stupid van still to save her ass, let alone ours from drifting too far and killing us.

"What are you-"Haley began defending when I interrupted, "Don't even try denying the multiple times you two decided to screw each other in Wes's closet while we watched RAW because, and I quote, "Randy and Sheamus look so hot when their wrestling, and when the sweat starts dripping off of their sexy abs I just have to grab Chloe and-"

"Okay! We get the point, we're horny as fuck and you have a better memory than we thought." Haley interrupted, sounding disgusted as she listened to me mock her with her own words.

"It's kind of hard to not remember that, considering you say it every single time you watch one or both of them in the ring!"

"She's got a point" Chloe squeaked, her eyes wide with fear and her knuckles white from grasping the wheel so tight.

"Just change spots before Wes catches us!"

"Too late" whispered Haley, looking out the driver's side window.

I followed her line of sight, and groaned when, sure enough, I saw Wes looking at me dead in the eyes, lust practically bleeding from his expression.

"Ew" I shivered, looking away from his intense expression.

"I've got to ask; is that how I look every time Chloe and I have "sexy time" in Wes's closet?" Haley wondered, staring at Wes peculiarly.

I had to think about it, and looked at Wes's face for confirmation.

"Just about" I replied with a nod, "accept you and Chloe are laughing when it happens, Wes looks like he wants to eat me."

"True that" Chloe agreed, also looking at Wes.

"Thanks" I smirked, patting her shoulder, and was about to sit back to try and hide from his hungry gaze when I realized…..

Chloe wasn't looking at the road.

"WATCH OUT!" I screamed, just in time for Haley to take notice and grab the wheel just before we ran off the bridge, nearly bumping into Wes's truck in the process.

Meanwhile….

"Did you hear?" asked WWE Diva Kaitlyn as she approached her longtime friend, and fellow WWE Diva, Layla.

"Hear what? Are we tagging together again?" Layla grinned, excited at the thought of another tag team match with her friend.

"I think so, but that's not what I'm talking about"

"Then what is it?"

"Do you remember Jessie?" Kaitlyn grinned herself; surprised that Layla hadn't heard the news.

"Do you mean John Cena's Jessie?"

"Yes!"

"Oh yeah, I remember her! She used to pull these awful pranks in the men's locker rooms, and even asked Michelle and me to help her with a few of them. Why do you ask?" Layla questioned, intrigued.

"Jessie is coming back to Raw, tonight!"

"You're joking!"

"No!" Kaitlyn laughed, her grin growing bigger.

"How?!"

"The blonde girl, the medical assistant?"

"The one that's dating Dean Ambrose?"

"Yes!"

"That's Madeline Foster, she's really sweet, and she helped patch me up a few times when the doctors were too busy with the superstars."

"Same here" Kaitlyn remembered, "but anyway, she got Jessie ringside tickets and, from what I've heard, backstage passes."

"She didn't!?"

"She did" Kaitlyn nodded, thinking of all the possible "accidents" that were about to ensue.

"Madeline is going to have a lot of superstars very angry with her" Layla wagged her finger, and couldn't rid the smile on her face.

"Oh who cares, I'm just happy I finally get to meet her"

"That's only if she doesn't get into trouble"

"Or doesn't get caught" Kaitlyn winked, and then busted out laughing in response.

Layla joined her, and as their little pair soon began to grow as more and more Diva's and superstars joined them, making a huge circle of shocked and happy people, the news on the TV started to show an image on a freeway, which happened to be an hour or so away from Portland itself.

The image wasn't a happy one, but it wasn't exactly sad either. The sight of a mangled van, hanging off the edge of a bridge by a mere chain, was oddly comforting, yet horrifying at the same time. While there were no bodies inside the destroyed van, the blood spattered across the inside of the windshield, slowly seeping out through the hole, was enough to scare anyone that knew who was inside it.

Except for the men that happened to save the people inside, who were now only worried about a poor girl's leg.

And that's it for this one! I know it's been months since the last update, but life has been a mess for me! Plus, I honestly had no idea where I would be going with this story, but instead of just letting a bunch of cool scenarios float through my head and having them be wasted, I've decided to just put them down anyway. Let me know what you think!
