The original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers have a reunion in 2002. There are people missing from the reunion, emotions are tense. something happened. But what? This is essentially a Jimberly story, but has a lot of Trini, Zack and Billy too. There are flashbacks showing the relationship between all of the rangers, Kimberly and Jason in particular during the mmpr episodes.

Everything Changed - Chapter 2

I hope you all like it, if anyone has any suggestions, please share, i'm making this up as i go along. I have a rough idea of where and how this ends. It totally depends on you guys and IF you like it. Please R&R

Florida 1997

KIMBERLY

Kimberly Anne Hart was on the mats at the pan globals games, warming up.
She was going through the stretch routines given to her by Coach Schmidt.

She felt so nervous, she wanted to do well and make everyone happy. However she felt rather let down.
Tommy and Kim weren't talking no longer as she ended things with that darn letter, Jason Zack and trini were in Switzerland and billy was with Tommy in Angel grove helping the rangers in the power chamber, what a weird name, command centre was better she thought.

Her father couldn't make it and her mother was in France with Kimberly's stepfather, Jean Pierre Lucien. This made her feel even worse, she couldn't get the flight to Florida, yes her mother had called Kim every night, sent her money for living expenses and wouldn't take no for an answer. That's good enough she thought.
Yet why did she still feel let down. She felt as though the weight of the world was on her shoulders that evening. She felt more confident going up against Rita, Zedd, hell even Ivan Ooze was less daunting.

Oh well, she took a sip of water and lifter her right leg and placed it behind her neck, stretching the groin area and hamstring. She looked around at the stands, the arena was rather small. It had around 2000 seats. That's when she saw him in the stands.
Tall, Dark hair, Broad shoulders, yet when they locked eyes, he gave her a calming reassuring smile. She felt like someone poured warm water down her spine. Seeing Jason reassuring her changed her whole outlook on the games ahead. She gave him a smile back, ecstatic that someone important to her was here.
He was the Leader of the power rangers, He protected the group like a Big brother, he always risked himself to protect the others and she always felt as though Jason protected her a little bit more than the rest of the group, she was the one with the least martial arts experience after all.

Shaking these thought out of her head, she straightened her leg in front of her and rested her body, over stretching was as damaging as not stretching.
She waved up at Jason and smiled brightly with her trademark toothy grin, he waved back at her and clenched his fist and pointed to the Beam in the middle of the arena. This was the confidence booster she needed. Her former leader, protector and best friend was there to cheer her on , she felt the weight leave her shoulder, and couldn't wait to get on that beam.

JASON

You can do this Kimmie, mouthed Jason whilst pointing at the beam. She looked so beautiful, agile, and graceful.
Angelic.
Wow Jason, 2 years since you went to switzerland and you still get Goosebumps looking at her. Heartbeat racing, Jason shook these thoughts out of his head and focused on being there for his best friend.
He knew Kim could do this. The flight from Switzerland exhausted him. But he would support this girl no matter what.
I bet I look hideous he thought. He really didn't prepare for this, what an idiot.
Kimberly Had to go to the locker room for a meeting with Coach Schmidt. He waved her off as she smiled at him whilst walking back to the lockers.

45 minutes later

Kimberly's name was called, she was next. Walking up to the beam, Kimberly turned to wave at Jason

"You got this Kim" shouted Jason
He saw that Kimberly began to giggle, before turning her gaze intensly to the beam, how he loved that laugh of hers, he felt his heart race again. She was going to do this."You got this pinkie, I know you can do this" Jason whispered under his breath.

KIMBERLY

She peeled her eyes away from Jason and looked at the beam, determination in her eyes. Everything was all right. Jason was here, she wasn't alone anymore. She walked towards the beam, "You got this girl, you can do this" she thought.

JASON

Jason was walking down towards Kimberly from the seating area, who was clutching the gold medal in her hands. Kim began to run towards him, she flew into his arms, resting her head on his chest.

"Congrats Kimmie, I'm so so proud of you" As Jason spoke he could smell the familiar raspberry scent to her hair, the hairs on the back of his neck stood up.

"Thank you jase, thank you for coming here for me, I couldn't of done this without you. I'm so grateful red, I really am" Kim softly said this into Jason's firm but soothing chest
Jason pulled her tighter into his chest and rested his chin on the top of her head.

"You didn't need me here Kim, you had this inside you, you just needed a nudge" he kissed the top of her head

Kim started to panic, OH MY GOD I stink don't let him get too close, you don't want to chase him away she thought

Kim pulled away
"Jason, I'm all sweaty, you shouldn't have to-"

"Nonsense Pinky, you smell amazing, I see your still using that raspberry shampoo huh"

Kim could feel her cheeks turning red
"well I better go use that shampoo and get dressed in my regular clothes, I'll meet you out here in 20?"

"That's fine with me Kimmie"

Kimberly waved at Jason as she headed for the shower. Coach Schmidt embraced her on the way and high fived her.

The arena was almost empty, 25 minutes later, Kimberly ran out of the back and skipped towards Jason

"Your late pinkie" teased Jason
She playfully slapped him on the chest, something that was a bit of a habit of hers.

"Well I wanted to look and smell great for my best friend who came All the way to Florida to see me. Jase, how long are you here for?" asked Kim linking his arm and leading him outside.

"No idea aha" Jason smiled nervously as they pushed the double doors leading to the parking lot.

"Well how long did the peace summit give you? " Kim gave Jason a puzzled look as they stepped outside. It was a beautiful Friday summers evening, the air was fresh and warm and Kim breathed in deeply.

"Yeah about that, um, I kinda, you know, um, quit"

"Jason, you left the peace summit? Why?"

"It's a long story, I'll fill you in over breakfast tomorrow, how's that?" Jason turned to look at Kim.

"Hmmmm, how about lunch instead, I'm going to have a long nights sleep tonight, I am totally done!" She leaned into Jason and rested her head on his shoulder

"Yeah of course Kimmie, where shall I meet you?" as wrapped his arm around her shoulders, making his heart jump a little.

"Well where are you staying?" Kim asked as she snuggled up into Jason a little more.

"I don't know yet, I Just got the flight on Wednesday, I couldn't really find a hotel, I was wondering if you could recommend me some" Jason asked

Kimberly pulled away and looked at Jason angrily.
"Are you stupid Jason Lee Scott? You came all the way here to Support me, and if you think I will let you stay at a hotel, you have another thing coming Mr!" she pointed her finger at Jason

"But-"

"But nothing, you're coming with me. This is gonna be so much fun!" she put Jason's arm in hers and started skipping along the sidewalk leading away from the arena.

"My apartments a 10 minute walk from here, It's so convenient, the gyms close by too, OH MY GAWD I can't wait to take you out for a tour" said Kimberly happily skipping along with Jason walking briskly.

"I can't wait either Kim" smiled Jason

Jason glanced at Kim, she looked so Happy at this moment. Her smile was from ear to ear, she was talking to him about Florida and all the shops she wanted to take him to, he couldn't help but smile a little too.

10 minutes later

KIMBERLY

Kim stood outside her apartment, turning the key, before she opened the door, she turned to Jason
She felt slightly ashamed that Jason would see her apartment like this. She hadn't cleaned it for a couple of days. She was just so busy with the pan global games and her vigorous training, that she didn't have the opportunity nor the time to clean it. Thank god she didn't have time for cooking. She just ate out recently. At least the kitchen would be clean.

" Right, don't judge me, i've been very busy, and stressed and -"

Jason cut her off "Hey, you dont have to explain anything to me, i know how hard it must be for you. All the stress your gong through , no friends or family around you, and feeling the weight on your shoulders

Wow it's as though he heard Kim's thoughts at the arena. Kimberly Just stared at jason in total amazement. How did he always know how she felt. She was so alone for the last year. Nobody to care for her and to support her emotionally. She calls Trini in Switzerland, but it was so expensive calling to Europe. They used to take turns to call each other once a week. Trini never mentioned anything about Jason leaving or to come to the games, Kim had mentioned to trini that she was alone and wished the three of them could come, she guessed Trini told Jason and he must of come to look out for her and surprise her as usual. It made her feel warm and relaxed that finally, someone understood her.

"So are we going in tonight or are we camping out here?" jason broke the silence with a cheeky smirk on his face

Kimberly snapped out of her thoughts and slapped jason on the chest with the back of her hand, she then grabbed his hand in hers and lead him into her apartment, she flicked on the lights and shut the door nehind them.

"Welcome to Casa De Kimberly. granted it's not much but hey, thats what you get on a small budget."

JASON

He heaved in his suitcase and looked around the apartment. To his left as he got in was a closed door, most likely the bedroom. After that, another door was there, this one was open, it was the kitchen. Rather small but very cute. There was a small fridge, a double hob and a small oven. Ahead of him was the living room. A medium sized room. A 3 seater sofa was against the back wall next to the window which led to the beautiful balcony. Opposite the sofa was a TV set. There were photos around the tv stand. A photo of the 5 Original Rangers caught his eye, he rememebered that picture being taken.
They were in the park cleaning up. All wearing green T-shirts with the words CLEAN UP CLUB written in white.
Jason had his arm around Kimberly to his left, Zack to his right with Trini in between both Zack And Billy on the end. He missed those days when all 5 were together.

" Brings back a lot of memories doesnt it" kim caught Jason staring at the photo.

" Yeah it sure does" Jason replied smiling. Kim was still holding his hand. He felt so much at peace. His eyes found the sofa. It was loaded with Clothes, books, boxes full of god knows what. Shopping and toiletries most likely he thought.
"My bed looks occupied at the minute kim" he laughed turning to kim

"Well you've had a long flight Jason, thats MY bed tonight" Kim raised her eyebrows and pouted , daring him to challenge.

Jason looked at Kim, his eyes lingered on her mouth for a few seconds longer than he would have liked. He loved how she pouts, he nearly forgot what a sight it was.
Kim may have noticed that, her face began to flush red.
SHIT thought Jason He hoped she hadn't noticed the stare.

"Um no, excuse me pinky, but you've just won a Gold medal" he pointed to the medal around her neck "I will not allow you to sleep on a couch after the day you've had"

"Well i wont allow my guest and my cheerleader to sleep on a couch" she teased him
"This is Casa de Kimberly, you have to live by my strict rules. You will sleep in my bed tonight, you look tired!"

"Well So do you, I can't do this to you Kim" retorted Jason

"Okay, i have an idea, well i have a queen sized bed. We will share it" before Jason could argue. "right thats final Mr Scott. I'm off for a shower and when i come back I hope You are relaxed and ready for bed because I am exhausted" Kim opened the bedroom Door. "I have an En suite bathroom Jase. let me shower and get dressed and Just make yourself comfortable here. Sorry about the mess. The TV is all yours, there is diet soda in the fridge, and i've got some fruit in the fridge, No junk food unfortunately but Help yourself" With that she disappeared into the Bedroom

Jason cleared a few things on the couch so there was room to sit down. He placed the suitcase next to the couch. He turned on the TV and found something to watch. He was too nervous to eat. He couldn't Help but think about sharing a bed with Kim tonight. Sure he Would love to do that, but it was Wrong. She was Tommy's Ex. What if he found out. Well they're not together now are they said a little voice in his head. She's in the shower right now, imagine how sexy she looks said the little voice. Oh great now he's hearing things. He turned his attention to the TV to watch a TV show about a group of 6 friends. Two of them were drunk and Just got married in vegas.

45 minutes later

Kimberly Came out of the bedroom, her hair tied up, her pyamas were on. White pyamas with pink unicorns and a pink tank top.

"You know, the unicorn was Billy's thunderzord, not yours" Jason laughed

"oh shut it rex, you ready for bed? she asked

"Kimmie, i think i'm gonna stay on this couch, i'll move these boxes and-"

"Jason, i'm very tired, I don't have the energy to debate this, Just please... I feel like shit Jase. Seeing you really cheered me up today. If your scared you'll get the cooties from sharing a bed with a Girl, bring those cushions and you can build a wall in between us" she smiled at he last part of her sentence

"OKAY thats a deal" smiled jason as he got up and grabbed a few cushions off the couch

Kimberly led him to the bedroom. The bedroom was spacious and a huge Queen sized bed occupied half the room

Kimberly instantly got into the bed on the left hand side.

Jason wheeled in the suitcase and went to the right hand side and placed the cushions in the middle. He had an idea

" Hey Kim have you got a spare towel, i want to shower, i feel disgusting" Jason hoped he would finish the shower and Kim would be asleep, thus making him less nervous about sharing the bed.

"yeah theres a few in the wardrobe Jase" Kim smiled at Jason and closed her eyes

"Great" Jason went to the wardobe to find a towel. Thank God it was white. He then went to the Bathroom

KIMBERLY

Kim's eyes were closed. But she was thinking about today. What a great day. She won gold at the pan global games, she was reunited with one of her best friends. OMG Jason Lee Scott was in her shower. She used to see him like a brother until they became adults. He began to look rather hot during the power ranger days, constantly in Ernies gym and juice bar working out, I wonder how he looks in that shower...He looks sexy, think about it said a little voice in her head. His broad muscular shoulders, his Huge biceps, his muscles glistening under the water...she slowly drifted off to sleep with a smile on her face...

JASON

Jason got out of the shower, Dried off, pulled on his white shorts and signature red vest from his small suitcase. He slipped on his watch. He always wore it. He missed the feeling of a communicator on his wrist and chose to wear a watch instead. It made that empty feeling subside a bit. He exited the en suite bathroom nervously to find out if Kimberly was awake or asleep.

His plan worked, Kimberly was fast asleep. His nerves settled and he climbed into the bed. He rest his tired head onto the pillow and closed his eyes, WOW he WAS tired. He opened his eyes and glanced at his watch on the bedside table and saw that it was 1am.

As he was falling asleep, he felt kim turn over and sneak an arm over the Pillow mountain in the middle. She placed it over his abdomen, He didn't want to think anymore, he fell asleep smiling that night.

KIMBERLY

Kimberly felt Jason slide next to her, she woke up and opened one eye to peek at him, his eyes were closed. She had not had this closeness and bond with her friends for a while now. She wanted to make the most of it, plus, he looked so handsome. looks like he's toned up a lot. She leaned over and placed an arm around Jason, she squeezed up against the stupid pillows. Why did she have to open her stupid mouth and mention the pillows, i'm not 10 years old she thought.

She snuggled up close to the pillows feeling the warmth coming from Jason and fell asleep once again.

I know this was a very long chapter guys, if You've not fallen asleep like Jason and Kim, I Commend you.

The next chapter will be a short one, so I thought that I would make sure this one is a big one.

Please read and review this. I really want to know if I am doing good enough for you guys. I'm sorry for any mistakes or inaccuracies, my back is really hurting from nerve damage, and sitting with the laptop makes it worse. I'll try and Do better.
