I took a deep breath and started for my mother's car. "Hurry up Rhonda," she scolded, "I don't have all day to wait for you." "Sorry, but I'm a little nervous." "Nervous? You? What is the world coming to?"

I got in the car and we were off. I had turned on the radio to relax myself. While my mother was muttering to herself, I was as nervous as nervous could get! I sat there, twiddling my thumbs, until my mother had stopped the car at Doctor Marvin's house.

"There," she said, obviously relieved that I wasn't with her anymore, "Here's the house." Before I could say what time she was supposed to pick me up, I heard the tires squeal and she was gone.

"See you later," I muttered to myself and walked up to the door. Before I had a chance to knock on the door, Dr. Marvin's sister, Cassie, came to the door. "How are you today, Rhonda?" she asked. "Okay," was all I said.
