Digital_chronicle_2.(Finding_Gigas)

I looked around for a while, I came across a dense forest of tall trees. I saw many more Digimon there, there were Treemon, Armadillomon, aruraumon and some Bokomon. And as I searched I came up to this large wall, it was completely covered in moss and vines. I was so tired that I just went to lean against it to get a rest but I just went right through it. The vines where a hologram, the image distorted slightly as I went through it. I looked around, it was a cave, the walls and floor where all engraved properly and with fancy designs, all in a circular fashion leading to the center of the room where a chest was. But before I went to open it I looked up, and saw it, there encased in a sphere of crystal was Gigasmon, the beast spirit of earth.

I guess when I put in the URL and I said "earth.2" it literally picked him. Gigasmon was never much in the interest of others, I remember in the anime that he was a bad guy and gave the heroes quite a beating. I wonder if here he still has the same mentality, I sure hope not. I wouldn't be able to defend myself from him, however I loved him. Maybe he will join me in figuring out what the hell is going on here.

Inside the chest was a crest, a digivice, a backpack and some new clothes, they seemed a lot better than the clothes I came in with, and they looked nicer. Then I put on the backpack and took the crest and Digivice. On the top it read 'DigiNET'. I pressed the power button and its screen read:

"Please input crest"

I guess it must have needed that for authenticity, so I searched for a slot for the crest and I inserted it. The digivice screen lit up brightly. Before I could give a reaction it shot a beam straight up to the crystal orb which contained the large powerful digimon and it cracked and busted to a blinding light. I took a couple steps back covering my eyes and the floor shook as he landed on his two feet.

"Finally! I'm free!" The digimon exclaimed with much joy.

"Thank you for freeing me!" He said as he walked up to me, he didn't seem aggressive, however he was so much bigger in person.

"You're welcome" I smiled looking up to him.

"Wait, are you a... HUMAN?!" He snarled and huffed, he seemed enraged with the knowledge that I am human.

With his bone crushing fist he grabbed me tight and held me to his face, I dropped the digivice as he picked me up.

"What are you doing in the digital world?!" He screamed at me.

"Gah!"

"Answer me!"

I was petrified, motionless, too afraid to speak, here I was, in the tight grasp of my favorite digimon, only moments from Death... how could it have gone so wrong?

"... What's that?" He noticed on the ground the glowing digivice.

He picked it up in his hand and looked at it, the amulet had been inserted into the digivice, and it was now activated.

"Who put the amulet in the digivice?" He asked in a calm tone.

"... I-I did..." I blurted out.

".. You, freed me..?" He asked in a dim and silent tone, loosening up his grip.

"Yes..."

"..." He put me down gently and pulled his hand away from me, then passed me the digivice.

"You must be the chosen one."

"Chosen one?" I asked tilting my head.

"Yeah, the chosen one. Long ago we had a group of human children come into the DigiNET with digivices and they were known as the 'digi destined'. They were heroes, they came here and helped save the digi world, I however was a bad guy, and attacked them viciously. But I'm different now."

"I see"

"What's your name?" He asked me.

"I'm Brian"

"Brian... That's a nice name" He smiled.

"Thank you"

"Listen, I'm sorry about trying to kill you, I usually wouldn't just flip out on anyone without a good reason. I've just been so paranoid ever since I was captured in that crystal." He said as he sat down.

"Who trapped you in the crystal?"

"I honestly have no clue... all I can recall was facing this mist and then everything went black... and cold" He scratched the back of his head.

"Ohhh"

"Yeah… but I'm afraid the digital world is in grave danger. I was one of the last that that thing took out, I can't imagine what it did with the digital world."

"True"

"But first, let's get out of here!" He picked me up and ran outside, dashing through the tall trees and making it to a large outside field.

He took a deep whiff of the fresh air and rolled around in the sun. It made me chuckle to see him so happy in the sun, I would never have imagined seeing him like this.

"Having fun?" I asked chuckling.

"Oh, uhm" He quickly got up and blushed slightly with a sheepish smile.

"Hehe"

"Alright then, let's go!" He exclaimed.

We took off, to explore new lands, go on new adventures, and figure out what exactly is going on.
