"The usual, Brewster."

Brewster nodded affirmatively and got to work in the back. Isabelle fiddled with her fingers in the meantime. She came during her lunch break this time, meaning a lot more people were coming in and out. One of them, Filbert, came in and sat right next to Isabelle.

"Hey, Isabelle, do you know how to fix a computer?" he asked, pulling his laptop out and onto the counter.

"Hmm..." Isabelle pulled the laptop over to herself. "Lemme see what I can do..." She lifted the monitor and booted it up. Once she logged in to the desktop she was immediately greeted by a flurry of adware.

"Well, here's the problem," she turned to Filbert, "you must've downloaded something sketchy and infected your computer. Don't worry though, I'll just use the 'System Restore' tool here to fix everything."

"Thanks Isabelle, you're the best!"

Isabelle smiled, satisfied with another normal day gone perfect.

Later that day, Isabelle returned to buy another coffee. Oddly enough, the front door was locked, when it usually was wide open 24 hours a day.

She knocked on the door. "Hello?"

Brewster poked his head out the doorway, looking Isabelle up and down before suddenly turning aggressive. "Get out of my restaurant!" he yelled, tossing a pot of boiling coffee at her.

Isabelle calmly stuck her hand out, freezing the boiling coffee in midair. With a quick twiddle of her fingers the coffee froze, and, hyrdokinetically, she rapidly shot shards of the frozen liquid towards Brewster, knocking him back to the opposite side of the building and nailing his clothes to the wall.

She walked up to Brewster. "What's the big deal?"

Brewster shuddered in place, stammering and sputtering. "Um.. um... ah..."

Isabelle gritted her teeth, levitating several shards of frozen coffee near Brewster's face.

"Okay, okay! I saw you assisting Filbert with his computer problems earlier, and Filbert is my main competitor, so I couldn't just let that stand by!"

Isabelle slacked her arm, dropping Brewster to the ground. "Listen. I may just be a humble secretary, but I have more authority than you think. If you continue to act up like this I'm fully authorized to kick you and your business out of here." She bent down to grab a shard of coffee off the ground, chomping off a bit. "This coffee is delicious, by the way."

Without any further words she walked out the building, hands behind her back. She started to head back to town hall before suddenly stopping.

"What, what just happened?" she questioned herself.
