Dipper was close. He knew it.
He could almost sense the Hide-Behind, creeping up near him. This was his chance. He'd failed at catching it before, but he was going to get it this time.
Suddenly, he heard a rustling coming from a bush behind him. Was this it? Was this the key to his success?
He ran over to the bush, and-
"MORNING, DIPPER!"
"AAAAAAAAAAAAUGH!" Dipper shot straight up from his bed.
"Jeez, Mabel! You don't have to yell like that!"
"Let me guess," Mabel said, completely ignoring him, "you were having that dream about that wierd ol' 'Hide-Behind.'"
"Yeah, what's your point? You know I've been having that dream for the last three days..."
"Buuuuuuuuuut, this one was different."
"What?" Dipper started to blush a little. "H-how so?"
"You weren't alone in that dream... WENDY WAS THERE TOO!"
Dipper slaps his hand over Mabel's mouth. "How the heck did you know?" he whispers in a harsh tone.
"Wait," Mabel makes a confused face. "You don't know about my dream-entering powers?"
Dipper looks shocked. "Your what? When did this happen?"
"A while ago. I was in the forest, when I found this spring."
"Hold on," said Dipper, "I want to write this down."
"Oooookaaaay..." said Mabel.
"Alright! So, start over."
"I was walking through the forest. You know, just taking a walk. Then, I came across this spring. Funny, I don't remember there being a spring there..."
"Mabel, could you show me this spring?"
"Okay, Dipper, but I'm not sure if it's still there."
"What do you mean?"
"You know, whenever something cool happens around here, it just... disappears."
"Ah, alright. Let's go!"
