Salvation

Chapter 2- Is that you Haruhi Fujioka?

A/N: This is going to be in Tamaki's point of view from when Haruhi's mom died.

"Hey Tono, she's defiantly got a thing for you…" The two Hitachiin twins said simultaneously.

"Heh, there's no way; it's only a brother-sister type relationship." I said brushing it off.

"That's not true and you know it" Kaoru said motioning his finger back and forth.

"Or are you just turning a blind eye?" Hikaru continued

"Will you guys stop it?" I said flipping my hair back.

These guys have no Idea what they're talking about, sometimes it can be a little annoying too.

"Hey, Tono, if you don't want her, you think you could set me and her up?" Hikaru said

"Not If I get to her first!" Karou said laughing.

"Neither of you will lay a finger on her, okay?" I said without thinking.

"Geez, when you put it like that, anybody would think you like her." They said.

"Drop it." I said getting a bit embarrassed.

The next day- Lunch break.

"Tamaki!" I heard Renge calling my name from down the hall.

"Oh. Hi Renge what's up?" I said a little confused, she usually doesn't talk to me openly like this.

"Tamaki, have you seen Haruhi today?" she asked me with her face twisted.

"No, why is something wrong?" I said sincerely worried.

"Well, it's nothing big, but she didn't come in today…"

"…so I assumed you'd know since she really likes y-" she cut off her sentence and immediately started to turn red, which made me respond like a child, and blush back.

"Well, I'll see you later!" she said running in the other direction, avoiding the conversation.

"bye" I said awkwardly.

Hmm, I wonder what happened to Haruhi, it's not like her to be absent. She probably has a cold or something; I'll probably see her tomorrow.

2 days later…

My limo pulled up to an ordinary apartment building, and me and Renge entered one for the first time in our lives

I looked at the small white paper with Haruhi's address on it.

"1756"

"It's so small…" Renge said.

"Let's just go…"

1756

Knock. Knock. Knock.

There was no response after 5 minutes

"What should we do?" Renge asked

"Well there's no helping it, we'll just have to leave for today." I said disappointed, and worried.

The days seemed to pass us by one by one, and it seemed like Haruhi would never return.

Everything was returning to normal, but why? I don't know if was just me, but it seemed like no one cared…

People were going about their daily lives as if Haruhi were here.

"Tono, hey Tono, Tono…. TAMAKI!" the twins screamed in my ear.

"What is it?" I said still daydreaming. It seemed like yesterday I saw Haruhi's smiling face.

"You've been out of it lately, what's wrong?" they asked, for once being serious.

"Haruhi, hasn't come back yet, and she's not home." I said looking toward the full plate of food in front of me.

"Tono, you've got to eat something." Karou said frowning.

"Yeah, boss, if she comes back would you want her to see you like this?" Hikaru said.

"What do you mean if, she's probably on vacation or something!?" I said getting up and walking toward the door.

Damn it.

Renge's P.O.V

A few days later

High Class make-up, top- notch fashion, flawless skin and etique, perfect grades, silk smooth hair, sophisticated manners, an all-around high class elite female.

That is me Renge Houshakuji.

Only the elite should be with the elite but there are always exceptions to this rule.

One of them would be me befriending a good commoner, and she turning out to be a rival. Imagine that, me someone of the best goods competing with a low class civilian. You'd be stupid to choose the commoner. But I guess there are some idiots in this world.

CLACK. CLACK. CLACK.

I hear my heels clicking away down the hallway, with the pride of a queen.

"I would like to transfer Haruhi to another middle school, out of state."

Haruhi's DAD!?

Is she really transferring?

"But, why?" asked the whimsy principle

"Her-"

"Personal reasons." Haruhi said cutting off her father.

"Well where will she be going?" the principle said

"Somewhere far away." Ranka said.

"we'll have to be going now, or else we'll miss our train, thanks for everything Mr. Shuu." Continued Ranka as they left.

I then hid behind a wall, eyes widened, and heavy breathing. And I didn't move like the coward I was.

Slowly the two pairs of footsteps fainted into the distance.

The next day, Tamaki didn't show up to school, so I went to his house.

"Tamaki?" I whispered his name, as I looked down at his shallow sunken face, sleeping in his oversized bed.

"What's so good about a commoner, who could leave the guy she likes in the drop of a dime?" I said lying on his chest.

"Tamaki, if you were mine…" I said clenching his shirt in my hand.

I stayed like that for a few minutes, feeling hot tears trickle down my face.

I'm thee Renge, I shouldn't be crying over something as petty as love…

"Renge?" Tamaki called my name.

"Haruhi… did she go to school today?" He asked.

"…"

"…"

"…"

"Yes."

Tamaki sat straight up, and looked me in the eyes while holding my shoulders.

"WHERE IS HARUHI?" he asked, eyes sparkling.

This was bad. He looked good even when he was looking like a stick. His eyes were sparkling, even when he called another woman's name.

"…"

"…."

"…"

"She left."

His pupils dilated.

"What do you mean?"

"Haruhi has been meeting this guy in her free time. It was a neighborhood guy whom she knew since she moved there, and on the day Haruhi stopped coming to school, she found out she was pregnant with his child, they were dating for quite a while. So they decided to move to the country side where he'd be able to work, and it would be okay to be pregnant at her age."

His grip became loose, and his eyes faded.

"Tell me it's not true, there's no way Haru-no MY Haruhi would do something like that." He said

I looked away; I rather look anywhere but at him right now.

"If you don't believe me ask the principle." I said looking at the red sheets.

His grip fell weak, and his hands landed to his side.

I stood up and went toward the door; I didn't have the heart to stay there any longer.

"I'll see you tomorrow and you should eat something, for your own sake…" I said before walking out the room.

2 years later- Tamaki's P.O.V

Ouran Academy

Everything seemed to work it's self out overtime. I forgot about Haruhi, but I still remembered her (if that even makes sense.) I established a club that was run by my best friend Kyoya. I was popular among the girls, I had lots of friends and good memories, and I was satisfied with life.

was this the golden age of my life?

Well, it didn't matter, as long as I never went back to that state again, it took me almost 8 months to start talking again (if it hadn't been for Renge), and the rest of the time I spent trying to be myself again, and helping others. Even though I still thought about her time to time, I had Renge and my friends to pull me back again.

I just hope where ever you are Haruhi Fujioka, you're happy.

"Tamaki, are you ready?" asked my best friend, Kyoya.

I smiled and looked forward, as the doors opened; a whole new school year was starting for our host club.

In unison the six of us closed our eyes and bowed, like we practiced so many times and said

"Welcome to the host club, my ladies."

However when I opened my eyes, I saw something I wasn't supposed to see…

Are my eyes deceiving me?

Is that you Haruhi Fujioka?
