"Merlin, there's something you aren't telling me. What is it?"
"Gwen, I'm sorry, but it's… complicated. I can't talk about it. Please…let it go."
"Don't you realize that there are people around you who care and worry about you? I… we can tell there's something wrong!"
Merlin gave a deep sigh, "I'm not sure the world is ready to hear my secret just yet."
She blinked slowly. "…Are you…are you saying you're gay, Merlin? Oh-my-gosh that's totally it, isn't it? Why didn't I see it?!"
"No! God no, Gwen!"
"Don't worry, Merlin, your secret's safe with me!" She winked, coyly.
