Sebastian could only wince and scowl at the clattering and shattering dishes. Mey-Rin's face was bright with shock as she stared at the mess she made.

"I'm so sorry! My glasses are broken again!" Sebastian sighed and helped her up and put both hands on her shoulders, stabilizing her.

"I guess I'll have to go get new dishes then, since that was our last set." He began walking off, rubbing his temples, but Mey-Rin remained in place, fantasizing the past scene in a more dramatic way.

Ding Ding Ding

Sebastian growled lowly in his throat at the ringing bell, beckoning him to the study. He knew already it would be a long day, and to heed to the childish commands of his master wouldn't help. With light, graceful steps, he walked his way to the room where Ciel Phantomhive resided and knocked twice before opening the wooden doors.

"You rang, my lord?" Ciel looked up from his desk. He never seemed to age much, but his eyes held an age that could only be seen in the eldest men.

"Yes, as you can see, I am taking care of business, so I need you to go into town and get a package for me." Ciel held out a strip of paper with an address scribbled across it. His eyes remained on the papers in his desk as he waved Sebastian away.

"I had to go to town anyways," he thought, taking the paper and left with a small bow. Once out the door, Sebastian began his run into town. It were moments like this he enjoyed most. Feeling like a demon again, not having bratty Phantomhive child breathing down his neck. Everything in his run into town would have been perfect if he did not sense the person following him. There was only one other on his mind that could keep up with his pace. Sebastian slowed down and came to a stop in an alleyway several blocks from his destination. He peeked his head out, seeing if anyone on the crowded London streets would pay attention before he pulled his head back to the alleyway and turned around. Sure enough, there stood Claude, face stern as ever.

"What are you doing here?" Sebastian asked, irritation still lacing his voice from earlier today.

"I came to take care of business, just as you have," Claude remarked dryly.

"Well take care of your business somewhere else. I have the Phantomhive name to uphold in these streets," Sebastian stated coldly and began walking off. Claude's hand quickly wrapped around Sebastian's arm, not holding him back, but enough to spike Sebastian's curiosity.

"You continue to act as a butler, although as of this moment you have no master." Sebastian looked Claude over, his eyes scanning, memorizing every detail he could. The short moment they stood there seemed an infinity. Sebastian pulled his arm away from Claude's grasp and looked away, gathering his thoughts.

In one swift movement, Sebastian turned and gave Claude a soft and chaste kiss. Not too long, but not too short. He pulled away with the devilish smirk that trademarked his lips and a soft and deep chuckle. "But I have my orders, and a good Phantomhive butler always carries out his orders." And with that he stepped out of the alleyway, becoming one of the pavement traffic, and left Claude alone with his thoughts and the light pink blush stained across his cheeks.
