A day in the life of Doctor Adams
"You have a wonderful daughter, sir. She and lady Henrietta are fine."
The newly-made father came in, and Doctor Benjamin Adams left the bedroom.
His hands were covered with blood, his shirt was completely wet with sweat, but he saved them both. And the wish to punch the husband for that disappointed look was irrelevant. Arrogant fool! Who said it was inappropriate for a gentleman to support his woman during the labour? To welcome his child first? Who said that daughters were useless? Methos sighed. Mortals still didn't value the treasures they had. But that wasn't his problem, after all.
