After the tournament I found Emma and she told me where Li'l was.
I turned into a bat and flew into the tower.
"Li'l?" I called.
I heard a gasp from the storage room so I ran towards the noise.
"Garrid! What are you doing here?" Li'l said.
"I came to find you. I realized after you left that you were the only one for me and that I loved you" I replied.
"I thought you were going to marry Hazel." She replied.
"No, I never married anyone. I just couldn't." I said.
"And now you just expect me to say that everything is fine and I just forgive you so we can live happily ever after?"
"No. You don't have to do anything. I just thought you deserved to know."
"Why are you doing this to me?" She yelled at me, her voice full of emotion.
"Doing what?" I asked.
"You broke my heart and then you just show up saying that you love me and you never married anyone else cause I was 'The One' and, and-" She said, her words cut off by sobs.
"Li'l! I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to make you cry. It was stupid of me to come here. I should have known that you didn't love me. I'll just go." I said, walking out of the room.
When I reached the door I heard a faint voice.
"Don't go Garrid… I - I love you too." whispered Li'l.
And that was all I needed to hear.
