Hermione woke up the next day to the sound of owls hooting in the owlry, and the light of a beautiful sun. Across from her room was Ginny's dorm, and she went to wake up the beautiful redhead. When she leaned over to wake Ginny up, she paused a moment to stare at the girl. Ginny began to stir, so Hermione quickly backed away to the entrance to her room, and took one last long look at the girl. Ginny sat up, and realized where she was and what had happened the day before. Before Hermione had a chance to say good morning, Ginny was up and getting dressed. Ginny asked some question about Hermione staring at her, and snapped 'Mione out of her trance. Hermione got dressed, and the two girls disappeared into the common room.

She woke up to find Hermione staring at her. "What's wrong, 'Mione?", she asked. "Nothing, just staring into space," Hermione said. There was something about Hermione's reply that seemed a little off, but Ginny didn't mind. After all, it wasn't like Hermione felt the same way about her, right? No way could the gorgeous brunette feel an electric zap of energy every time they touched, or feel her heart beat just a little bit faster every time they saw one another.
They both got dressed and hurried downstairs, when they noticed the boys weren't in the common room. They hurried off to breakfast.
