Author's Note
This is the second chapter, which is just an introductory chapter to Annabeth's world. Enjoy!
Disclaimer:I do not own the Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, or Heroes of Olympus series.
Annabeth's POV
I looked out through the window. It felt relaxing to watch the kids play in the park, but my eyes wandered to the couples sitting on the benches together. Percy and I were married now, and he was the best husband anyone could ask for. But he was always visiting Camp Half-Blood in his freetime, and I got to sit here and look out the window with nothing to do. Yay. I decided to call Piper. I walked over to the fountain in the living room and pulled out a drachma. "Oh Iris, goddess of the rainbow, please accept my offering," I said, flicking the coin into the shimmering mist. An image of Piper showed up.
"Hi, Annabeth!" Piper said cheerfully.
"Hey," I said. "Do you have any tips to kill time? Percy's out again."
"Hmm...how about you visit the park?" She replied. "Or maybe take a nap?" The nap definitely sounded good. I thanked Piper and headed upstairs. But I should have learned not to take naps after a lot of years after quests. A dark but familiar voice echoed in my dreams. I looked around, enveloped in the fear I felt a couple years ago. There was nothing except darkness for miles, yet the hidden voice felt like it was right in front of me. The voice spoke out,
"Meet the rest at 157 Sycamore Street. Bring the seven. You have no time to waste."
And that's...probably the worst way to end a chapter. Anyway, please leave a review!
I am incredibly sorry to tell you guys that I have decided to discontinue this story. I haven't got any time to write or even go on the site too much, because I am too busy. I have no idea if I may write another story, or even update this story, but maybe in the future I will change my mind. I again am extremely sorry to you guys who have been reading this, but I just haven't got time or inspiration.
