I looked at my home for the last time, but it wasn't home anymore. There was no life left.
My brothers had gone. I would not stay here. I could not live my life here while they were in my shadows. I would go back to the jungle. I would find peace, and only then would join my family.
But there would be no suppuku, it took all my life to realise that I had not failed. My last brothers dying words,
'You did good.'
That was all it took for me to learn a lifelong lesson, I could not control life and I certainly could not control death.
I would see my family again, but not yet, not yet.
