The Angel on the Moon exits slipstream, orbiting Anno.

"Slipstream successful. No errors detected." the Animus A.I. said.

"Good. Now to head to 'Black Mesa' and get the A.I.." Jensen said.

"What is the A.I. your getting?" Sosuke asked.

"It's none of your business. Besides, the A.I. took almost a century to develop." Jensen goes to the shuttle bay and leaves to go to 'Black Mesa'.

As he pilots the shuttle, Jensen passes by one of the S.A.A.T. (Scientific Academy of Advanced Technologies) ads. The ad explains about today and tomorrow technology like this:

"Cars: Today." A citizen drives his car, that uses wheels, to work, but it breaks down on the way there. "Cars: Tomorrow." Another citizen gets into his car, which can hover at a low altitude, and it lifts up into the air and drives off to work. "With new hovering technology, citizens will no longer have to drive on the roads when you could drive above them. Within Research Laboratory Black Mesa, Scientists (called Techs in Anno 2070) are developing all new technology for tomorrow thanks to state-of-the-art construction tools, robots, and nanites. S.A.A.T. Research Laboratory Black Mesa: Technology of Tomorrow. Property of S.A.A.T."

Jensen lands the shuttle on a landing pad, exits the shuttle, and enters 'Black Mesa'.

As soon as he enters the lab, Jensen goes to the check-in counter.

"Excuse me, sir. I'm here to get something from here." he said to the check-in employee.

"What's your last name?" the employee asked, pulling up an holographic screen displaying checked-in and checked-out people.

"It's Jensen, sir."

The employee types in his last name. "First name?"

"Adam."

The employee types in his first name. "Where are you going in Black Mesa?"

"The Artificial Intelligence Development Laboratory."

The employee types in the location of where he's going. "You're all set. You may proceed."

Jensen uses an nearby elevator to go to the A.I.D.L., which is underground.

As he tweaks the programming for one of the A.I., Scientist Salman Devi (known as Professor Dr. Salman Devi in Anno 2070) implants new commands into its interface. Then, Jensen steps into his office.

"Mr. Devi, I'm here to pickup that A.I. for the new stealth ship."

"Wait a minute." Salman puts away the A.I. he's working on and closes the Artificail Intelligence Programmer on his computer. "I do have the A.I., but I locked it up in one of the A.I. capsules I stored in the cryo chamber."

"Can I get it?"

"...Sure."'

Jensen goes to the A.I.C.P. (Artificial Intelligence Cryogenic Storage) and searches for the A.I. he needs. Then, he sees a 7-year-old size cryo capsule. He wipes off the snow-like substance and ice off of the capsule, revealing a 7 year old girl inside. She has orange hair, a red dress, red slip-on shoes, and white bloomers.

"Why is there a girl in here?!" Jensen yelled.

"Whatever you're looking at IS an A.I.!" Salman shouted.

Jensen breaks the capsule's glass and pulls out the girl. He returns to Salman's office, laying the girl on the floor. "Who is this?"

"...Artificial Intelligence Ponyo, also known as the Ponyo A.I."

"She's a robot, isn't she?"

"Sort of. But, she is the very first A.I. that can physically appear in the real world or be a hologram, which will require a Crystalgram A.I. card for certain things."

"Is she useful?"

"She's very useful because of how the Black Mesa Research Team (about +100 scientists), including me, designed her. We designed her to think, move, talk, and behave like a human. Because of how much research, hardware, and so on we did, it was very difficult because, like I said before, took almost a century to create such technology."

"How did the research team make her?"

"...I'll tell you the rest of the story later. Anyways, now to boot her up." Salman then puts the Ponyo A.I. onto his chair, siting up. He brings up a command prompt on his computer. He types in a command and presses enter.

Then, the Ponyo A.I. opens her blue eyes. "Initializing." she said. 20 seconds later, the boot up process is complete. "...I'm ready for a command, Mr. Devi."

"Ponyo, run a hardware test."

"...CPU: Intel Core i7 Extreme with 32 cores. Clock speed: 5.5 gigahertz. Memory: 1 terabyte of GDDR6 RAM. Clock speed: 10 gigahertz. Storage: 1 yottabyte of solid state drive flash storage. Status of hardware: Green. Cooler Master cooling fluid is working good as new. Hardware test complete."

"Good."

The Ponyo A.I. notices another person next to Salman. "Who's that beside you?"

"I'm Adam Jensen. I'm here to take you to the Neptune Sector." Adam said.

"What is the Neptune Sector?" the Ponyo A.I. asked.

"I'll tell you on the way there." He and the Ponyo A.I. leave 'Black Mesa'. They get in Jensen's shuttle and goes back to the Angel.
