Meep-meep, wasn't expecting to do this update. But get this... I've had this whole chapter already written out in my binder.
Oops.
Well after fixing mistakes in the first chapter I can really see my skills getting better. Who would have guessed that writing for years would do that.
Sadly I still don't own Legend of Zelda or any of the characters.
In my dreams I was reliving my last seven years of imprissionment and torture. Every whip, slash, and hit he received. I wished I did a little more to Earnest then just kill him.
"You really think you can hide from us, we're Goddesses of the Triforce." Se said sitting on something invisible. I turned to see the scene change to blackness and it was just us two. "Why are you here?"
"While we can't do anything to you in the human realm that doesn't mean we can't influence it. Just listening I have a proclamation for you. If you want revenge fine, I love games anyway. But first, if you want your body back you need to defeat the part of you that's here. Second." Her eyes glowed a blue light piecing the darkness lighting up Link. "You're cursed. Everyone will fear you as you will look like the monsters that have destroyed Hyrule. Fear and death will be your only friend." Snapping her fingers a mirror was next to her to show what he looked like now.
His golden blond hair known to shine in the sun had turned a dark gray like that of an old man even thought he is young, his blue eyes like that of the sky or ocean turned a blood red like two rubies had taken their place in his sockets. His already pale skin didn't help him look less of a ghost. He was truly a monster in his eyes.
Link shot up from his bed. "Just a nightmare." But I didn't sound confident enough.
Getting up from his bed and walking over to the mirror, the horror that stood their was just like that of his dream. He had changed into the form the goddesses cursed him in, tears began to run down his face, red like blood, nothing about him was normal anymore. His hunger was outrageous too, along with his thirst. His crying had brought the attention of monsters under his house. Mad Scrubs wondered closer and a Deku Baba woke up near the house.
Looking down at the monsters, I couldn't help but feel hunger. Licking my dry lips with the thought of eating one. I leaped down close to one of the Mad Scrubs and quickly punched the creature, knocking it down. I leaped onto it continuing the onslaught of attacks till the monster had stopped moving. I've never eaten one before, didn't really think they are editable. But that wont stop me. "Tastes like bark." I said out loud. The others around me seemed to have ran off with out attacking of some reason. Might be because of my new look. The Deku Baba also ignored me when I climed back up to my house.
"I needed new clothes." I was wearing rags basically, no need to make a prisoner warm. I had found my old clothes from a child in my dresser. Smiling at how small I used to be. I've sure grown more at less a foot taller then when I was as a child. The green cap still fit but everything else was definitely too small. Towards the bottom of the dresser, I could saw a pair of clothes unlike the rest. The color of the tunic was black, as was a matching black cap and boots. I didn't want to pit on on, it was too out of place. I know I didn't put this here and even if I it should fit me. I noticed that it was larger, just enough to fit me. But it was the only think I could wear and this was put here for a reason.
Looking back at the mirror, I truly looked like a creature of the night. I see what the goddesses are doing, turning me this way, giving me these clothes. A monster should look like a monster. I tightened my fist in anger. If they want to make me out to be evil then have no worries cause I'll play along, just till I kill them. My smile twisted with madness as I looked in the mirror as more red tears ran down my cheek. Slamming my fist on the reflection to break it.
Walking back outside I noticed their were less monsters then before. Jumping down to examine what cause their death. "Slash marks, right through them." I said looking closer to no one in particular. "And clean too." I seen enough to know a warrior had just ran thought here. No one normal could have fought this many. Looking where the bodies stopped, lead to the Lost Woods. Is this another trap from the Goddesses or just a knight trying to save Hyrule I don't know but curiosity got me and I needed to know.
Entering the Lost Woods was easy, and I had no real way to navigate. Everything looked the same but it's so blurry when I think of the pass to long. I remembered walking here with the other Kokiri children Fado, Mido, and Saria. With the thought of here my childhood crush, memories flooded into my head giving me a pain staking headache. I remembered how to navigate the woods now but her song wouldn't leave my head. I walked closer and closer to her usual hideout the song getting louder and louder with each step.
I stopped to look at the maze I remember as a child. The Sacred Forest Meadow starts with the small maze filled with Mad Scrubs. Walking in I was proven wrong at the site of a Moblin corpse slashed form behind. Following the trail of bodies, who ever can though here was quit good. I finished the maze, it was easier then I remembered now that I think about it, not just because there was a trail of destruction too. A much larger cadaver was in way to Saria's spot, King Of the Modlins I believe. Slashes around his legs and a stab wound on his chest, this person it really good. Walking around the body, I found my destination.
A single stump next to the ruins of a large building. Saria and I used to play here all the time, we believe that building to be haunted too. I almost laughed but the playing in my head sped up, wanting me to continue but I saw the warrior, Saria and no where else to go. but the playing continued still and I had to choice but to enter the haunted building.
Oh yeah this is good. only took 3 years for one small chapter. But I would be way more into this if more people read it, or liked it. Hell if people didn't like it I would still do more.
I've been really feeling Legend of Zelda lately and even after years I still know where I want to go with this story so... maybe another chapter. Defiitly another one of the other Legend of Zelda story I have, I like the other one.
I'll be redoing what ever chapter I make when I get WORD again. To get any mistakes.
