"Lad?" A small wheat blond, bright blue eyed boy turned to see a older lighter haired green eyed man walking toward him. "Might I ask what you are doing here?"

"Engwand," the youger started his voice quiet as he held his rabbit close. "It's me,America..your colony, and little brother. This is my room."

"Oh, sorry lad I forgot." England reached out and lightly ruffled his hair. There was a knock at the door and England stood to go answer little America following him to the top of the stairs.

"What do you want frog?" Englands voice asked. So France was over.

"I came by to show off." A disgruntled squeak was heard then the door was closed.

"Frog don't let your self in!"

"Ah don't pretend jou don't like me Angleterre. I have myself a colony. This young nation is Canada. I'm sure you are jealous."

At the mention of another colony America toddled his way down the stairs and behind England.

"Uh Angleterre...zere's a little boy by jour feet." France

England looked down at his feet. "Oh that's just uh...I'm sorry lad who are you again?"

"America.."

"America! Right!"

"Oh little America 'ow 'ave jou been?"

"Good sir..."

"Still as quiet as ever I see."

America nodded a bit and shied away hiding behind England's legs looking up at France. He glanced to the boy in his arms.

"America zis is Canada 'e's jour twin brother." France explained as he set the boy down. The boy, Canada, smiled widely holding out his hand.

"Hi I'm Canada!" He said in a loud voice causing America to jump and pull his rabbit closer.

"H-hi..." he hesitantly held out his hand as well gently taking his hand before he was yanked forward towards the door.

"We're going out to play!"

"Alright dress warmly its cold out!"

"Alright we will!" With a quick stop grabbing Americas coat they rushed out. A few hours later England called for them to come inside. As they made there way up America tripped and before he could get up Canada was inside and the door was locked.

He tried to knock on the door and yell, but his knocks were to soft and his voice was to quiet. He sighed after a bit and sat down letting his rabbit wonder around. Then something soft and cold hit his nose. He looked up. The first snow was here and it looked like it was gonna come down hard.

He got up grabbing his rabbit and made his way to the shed. He opened the door setting the little creature down he closed the door and grabbed the spare blanket there before wrapping up and huddling in a small corner for the night. He wouldn't be found till the next morning when they came for the shovels.

America awoke on the ground his little rabbit sniffing his face. He sat up slowly rubbing his head as his rabbit sniffed his leg.

"Sammy what happened?" The rabbit tilted its head before thumping his foot and speeding ahead real quick. "Oh yeah! Canada's birthday party!" His whispery voice rasped out as he stood.

He slowly made his way over to his rabbit picking him up and heading back. Upon arriving at the party the loud music could be heard. He quietly snuck his way back in, weaving his way through the partying countries.

"Alfred dude, where'd you go?" A loud voice called from behind and he turned around looking at the owner of the voice

"H-hey Mathew I was just in the woods and-" Alfred began in a quiet voice.

"Al you have to talk louder! You're to quiet no one will hear you, hey I'll go get us some drinks and you stay right here, k?"

Alfred nodded and stood watching him leave. After seven minutes of waiting he realized he had been forgotten and with a sad face made his way to an empty chair sitting down and watching everyone enjoy themselves.

"Privte." A Russian said as he came and sat down next to the american. "Who might you be?"

"A-america, you s-stupid commie." He responded in his whisper voice. The responce was an imediate string of 'kols'. "S-sorry!"

"No worries comerade." Russia replied with a creepy smile that did not say it was. He raised his hand resting his hand on America's head pushing downward.

"R-Russia! Please stop!" America begged reaching up and grabbing his arm.

"Nyet"

"Russia let go of the poor lad" a british accented voice said from behind causing the Russian to turn. "He apologized."

"Da but insult will not go unpunished." His smile grew as he pushed down harder causing America to groan in pain.

"Russia, dude, let him go eh." Canada said as he walked over lifting the hand off of America's head.

"T-thanks." America whispered rubbing his head gently.

"You're welcome lad," England said as he made his way over, checking Alfred's head. "You're lucky we stopped him...uh."

"A-alfred...America.."

"Right! Alfred!" England smiled before turning back to Russia and Canada leading Russia away.

"You alright dude?"

"Yeah."

"Alright just call me when you need me, I'll help you." With that Matthew left.

"Yeah I know..."
