Dominique looked over the crowds and swallowed in fear. There were so many people out there. So many people to fail in front of. And she was supposed to stand up in front of them and start the ceremony.
She could see her family sitting there, her sister, her parents, cousins, aunts, uncles and even a few unofficial family members. They took up a lot of space, but even they were swallowed up by the crowds looking up at the podium.
Stepping up to the podium, Dominique swallowed. Holding her head up, she looked out and cleared her throat. Leaning towards the microphone, she began to speak.
"Welcome to this years graduation ceremony of the Hong Kong University of Sorcery," she began and she felt her fears melt away.
