To be honest, I think some of them are really cool. It really gets you thinking, you know? Like, what would happen if we all lost our bending to Amon? Scary, but it makes for a killer midnight read. But then there's the really weird stuff you gotta watch out for. Honestly, I'm glad that made that filter system thing because I can skip the romance section completely.

(pause)

Well, I can't name any specifics but - oh, come on! I might be a jerk sometimes but that doesn't mean I'd get Korra knocked up and abandon her! That's low, dude. And, of course, at the other end of the spectrum, some of these stories make me look like some uber angsty emo loser who spends all his time crying over how nobody loves him. Seriously... ugh...

Um, is this thing on?

(static noise)

Oh, sorry. Don't touch the mic. Got it. Ahem.

(loud static noise)

(pause)

Fanfiction? Ooh boy… okay, one time, I was just kinda bored so I checked out this one story. Can't remember what it's called but it was something like "The Brocest Adventures"? Have no idea who this "Brocest" guy is but anyways, I looked at the summary and it was all: "Summary sucks, story way better". And summaries don't lie, you know? So I clicked on it… and… um…

(sniffling noises)

I'm sorry it's just… no, no I'm fine it's just… really h-hard, you know? I mean it was so… and then I kept h-having these r-really awful d-d-dreams…

(gross sobbing)

It's gonna be okay, Bolin, calm down – what? Oh, it's my turn? But is he going to be okay?

(Bolin's mic cuts off)

Where were we? Fanfiction? Well, to be honest, I do enjoy the occasional drabble. They're kind of like my guilty pleasure, you know? I actually love those alternate universe stories where we're all in high school because I never got to experience any of that, and I don't think the others did either. I was home-schooled since a very young age, and Korra also spent most of her childhood being tutored, I think. And, Mako and Bolin, obviously what with their situation, they didn't have much of an opportunity for education…

But, anyways, I find it interesting that in all these high school fanfics that none of us actually do any schoolwork! I mean, the occasional class is mentioned but usually the characters just talk about dating during class and the teachers never say a word! It's certainly different from when I was being taught. Perhaps my tutors were all very strict…

(pause)

What do I think about... flash fiction? Sorry, slash fiction? Um, what are those exactly?

(pause)

So, wait, you're saying that MAKO/BOLIN MM SLASH actually means…

(pause)

Oh… Oh, my…

Oh, geez, where to begin… look, I honestly don't judge people, especially after what happened with Amon, I've learned to accept that there are some crazy people in the world and sometimes you don't know what they've gone through. So I can handle crazy at the best of times but… Oh geez… Some of these fanfics are [expletive deleted] up. Like seriously.

(pause)

Well, to elaborate, I'd have to start with those fanfics that start out okay but then you get to chapter 2 – or, in some cases, the third paragraph – and people start taking off their clothes for like – like NO REASON. I swear, they just start screwing each other over breakfast or a probending match or THEIR GRANDMOTHER'S [expletive deleted] FUNERAL! WHY?

(incoherent yelling)

WHAT THE [expletive deleted] IS WRONG WITH Y–
