The beginning chapters are a bit rough around the edges, so I will be editing and updating them from today onward; however, if you still want to continue reading, I encourage you to because it gets better. I promise
In this fanfiction, there is use of alcohol and marijuana. I am in no way encouraging the use of these drugs. I have never smoked or drank in my life and probably will not. Be good people and follow my example, not Angelique and Kaya's.

Chapter One: My New Life
I can already tell that I am going to hate it here. Sword and Cross reform – I mean boarding school for teenage "misfits." I do not belong here, no matter what they say. They think that I am rebellious. Ha. Don't make me laugh. If they wanted rebellious, they would get it.
What a great resolution for senior year.
I kicked open the door to the lobby, sauntering in fifteen minutes late. The heels on my boots echoed in the hideously florescent-lite lobby, making a couple of students glance at me from where they were huddled around a cardboard box.
"Miss Price, it's so nice of you to join us." The attendant barked out. "Dump your bags in the office and your hazards in the box."
Hazards? What the hell?
My confusion must have showed on my face because the attendant started to glare at me.
"You know, lighters, phones, mace, knives, and etcetera. I thought that you were smart, Price; the top of your class. Don't tell me you didn't know what the word 'hazards' meant."
I felt my face flush red and a blonde haired girl started giggling. What? How dare they?
I clenched my fists and bit my lip, trying to keep my anger from flooding out. I would get a chance to prove myself later, not now…
I tossed my bags in what I assumed was the office, then joined the cluster of five other students in front of the box, bumping the blonde bimbo out of the way. I looked into the box, which had items from matches to spray paint and box cutters inside. Who the hell did these kids think that they were? Damn.
A girl next to me was having a hard time too. The shock nearly floored me when I saw who she was.
"Luce…" My cousin. My innocent baby cousin. Why the hell was she here? I thought that she was still at Dover. I never thought that they would send her to reform school to what clearly was an accident. Had anyone ever heard of 'innocent until proven guilty?' And my God, what happened to her hair? Her long, wavy locks were almost gone and chopped unevenly. She told me that her hair had gotten burned in the fire, but I did not think that it was that bad…
Luce did not even look at me, she was still looking at the prohibited materials sign. The attendant slapped her a couple of times on the cheek to snap her out of her daze.
"Don't swoon on me, kid," she said. "They don't pay me enough to resuscitate. Besides, you get one phone call a week in the main lobby?"
One phone call a week? Uh, uh. There is no way in hell I am giving up my phone now. At least my outfit concealed most of what I wanted to hide…the things that would give me my new reputation.
"Eh-hmm." The attendant cleared her throat. I looked up at the attendant, then at Luce; she was checking her messages.
The girl besides chuckled, drawing my attention to her. Her long, straight black hair fell in a curtain around her pale face, almost concealing her turquoise eyes. She sort of reminded me of a stereotypical vampires? The attendant cleared her voice again and the girl smirked at me.
"Have any hazards? Miss Price? Miss Hellbound? I am aware that you, Miss Hellbound, at least have a phone."
"Well…" She dragged out the word. "You see, I don't have one because I kinda lit a tree on fire and my fucking parents got pissed and took it away. I mean, they already took all of my communication away just by putting me in this dump, and then they just HAD to take my phone. Any more fucking questions?" The girl exclaimed angrily.
Interesting attitude…I think that the two of us will get along just fine.
The attendant's face flushed with anger and she turned to me. "Now what about you, Miss Price?" Her voice was restrained. "I'm well aware that you have a knife problem? And your Uncle warned me that you might have a phone."
Well, I guess that I have to give something up to make her shut the fuck up. I sighed and looked down at my chest. My breasts are triple-Ds, which was, in my opinion, big enough to hold enough weapons for a small army. Not at all shy (where I am from, there is no such thing as privacy), I reached down my cami and started to dig around, careful not to show any unwanted flesh.
A guy with brown hair and freckles gasped and blushed. I glared at him and he glanced down at his nubby fingertips. What a fucking ass.
I quickly pulled out a lighter, switchblade and an arrowhead. Another guy with shaggy, black hair and piercing deep green eyes raised his eyebrows at me when I pulled out the last item. How the hell did I not notice him before? He's sooo attractive. Definitely someone I would lose my virginity to. I flashed him a wicked grin and chucked the items into the box. Afterwards, I adjusted my shirt and turned back to the attendant.
"As for a phone, my ex-boyfriend happened. Enough said." The girl beside me laughed and smiled. As I returned the grin, the attendant started to speak in a hideous sing-song voice.
"We're still waiting on one person. I wonder who it is."
Luce's attention went back to the hazards box and everyone stared as she dropped her phone. The blonde girl and the brown-haired boy walked towards the door. I expected the green-eyed hottie and the mysterious turquoise-eyed girl to follow, but they did not.
"I can fill her in," the hottie said, nodding at Luce. He was giving her this cute, cocky grin.
No! A repulsive grin. What the hell was this weird twinge in my stomach? I looked away as Luce shyly smiled at him.
Whore.
I shook my head, surprised and a little worried. Luce is my baby cousin, and she's definitely not a whore. What the hell was wrong with me? She was just smiling at a cute guy.
Oh God! Oh God, I'm jealous. I'm seriously fucking jealous! What the hell? I just met the guy! It's not like he's my boyfriend or anything…
"No." My head snapped up as the attendant continued. "Back to square one. You don't like it, you should have thought twice about breaking parole."
The attendant started to tug Luce down the hall, and Luce looked at me with wide, scared eyes. How could I have been jealous of her? She probably just wanted to make a friend…
The turquoise-eyed girl caught the attendant's arm when she and Luce were about a couple of feet away from the door and asked her something in a low voice. For a moment, the green-eyed hottie and I were awkwardly left alone.
"Soo…I'm Cam. Cameron Briel," he smiled bright enough to make my heart skip a beat. "And you are?"
"Angelique." I gasped out. God, his eyes. His smile. I couldn't shake off the eerie feeling that I knew him from somewhere. But that's impossible! I swear that I have never seen him before in my life! I mean, I definitely would have noticed someone as hot as attractive as him. I took a deep breath, trying to calm my racing heart.
"Angelique Luciana Price." I continued, managing to give him one of my signature smirks. "All of my friends call me Angel or Devil though. Take your pick." His eyes brightened and he opened his mouth to answer, but they quickly dimmed as he frowned at someone over my head.
"Here, take this." He pulled out a green guitar pick and gave it to me. It had the number 44 printed on it. "It's my room number. I'll be in touch." Before he could walk away, the turquoise-eyed girl appeared next to me and grabbed my arm.
"Cam." She hissed.
"Kaya." Cam said stiffly. He looked at me and smiled. "Don't lose it."
"Who do you think I am?" I smirked.
He chuckled and walked away.
I turned to Kaya. "So. I take it that he's a good friend of yours."
"Yup! The best!" Her voice was dripping with sarcasm as she grinned down at me. "Well lieutenant hot-head said that I could fill you in today. She even gave me your room number and key! I'm Kaya, by the way. Kaya Hellbound. And you're…?"
"Angelique Luciana Price. You can call me Angel or Devil." I replied.
"You know what? I'll call you devil."
