I wanna thank GirlGohanFan for the awesome suggestion of changing the summary. This chapter is now ahead in time. Gohan is 17, Goten is 5, and Chi-Chi married someone else ;) I will explain later. Also I need a Beta reader, I think that's what it is called, I will send a chapter to whoever wants to do it, but I need an email.
Chapter 2 of Gohan, a Little Girl with a Big Problem: Back to School.
Disclaimer: I, sadly, do not own this multi-million production, enjoy.
Gohan's P.O.V.
"GOHAN!" I flew out of my bed, my heart beating a mile a minute.
"What?!"
"Hurry up, you're going to be late!" I sighed and stood out of bed. I walked towards my armoire and grabbed my lip, nose, and ear rings. The nose ring is just a little stud, the lip ring is just a small hoop, and my ear rings are just little hoops that go on both ears with a ring on the top of my right ear. My hair usually hides it though. I grabbed my over top and through it on. I then put on my jeans, ran a brush through my hair, and bounded down the stairs. I walked into the kitchen to find my mom, Goten, and Austin sitting at the table. Goten was shoveling food into his mouth, Austin was reading a newspaper, and mom was drinking coffee. I sighed and grabbed a bowl of cereal. I ate quickly and rinsed my bowl in the sink.
"You aren't going to school in that are you?" Austin looked up from his newspaper and raised a quizzical eyebrow towards me.
"Yes, why is there something wrong with what I am wearing?" I asked the wanna-be father. He looked at the piercings I had on me and shook his head.
"You know your mother and I don't approve of those." I rolled my eyes.
"I'm almost 18 Austin, I thought this was my body not yours." I turned sharply towards him with a hint of annoyance.
"Don't talk to your father that way, young lady!"
"He isn't my father! What part of that do you not understand?!" I snapped. I saw a nerve pop out of her head as she pointed towards the door.
"Go to school, come straight home, we will talk about this when you get home." She demanded. I growled under my breath. Not if I don't come home… I thought bitterly. I took a running start and took off into the air. As I flew, I thought about the many possibilities of what punishment they could possibly think up. Last time it was a slap across the face after I "disgraced" this family. All I said was for Austin to leave me alone because he was annoying me and BAM! I'm the bad guy. I shook my head of those thoughts and flew straight for the outskirts of Orange Star City. As my feet touched the ground, I slipped my hood over my head. I walked down the long, almost empty streets. I couldn't help but feel like I was being watched. I quickened my pace, and I made the sharp corner to OSHS. I turned my head to the left to see that no one was there, so I walked calmly into the doors. As I was walking towards my locker, two hands grasped my shoulders as someone spoke 'hi' in my ear. To say I jumped was an understatement.
"OH MY GOD! Erasa!"
"What?"
"Don't scare me like that!"
"Sorry."
"Ugh…any way, what's up?"
"Nothing much…" I started to play with the dial on my locker. It opened with ease. I grabbed my book and turned to see Travis staring at me.
"Hi." I spoke bitterly. He and his little annoying group gets on my nerves.
"Hi Gohan, how was your weekend?"
"Splendid…" I answered facetiously. (That means sarcastically I just wanted to use a big word) I slammed the locker door shut and started to walk away, only to ram myself into Emily Schwartz, the pop diva of the whole school. Not to mention she is Travis' girlfriend. I glared at her as she was glaring at me.
"Watch where you're going low life."
"Oh, I'm sorry your highness. Should I get on my hands and knees and spit shine your shoes?" I replied sarcastically. People started to chant 'fight fight fight!' but I ignored them.
"What is going on over here?!" Everyone immediately dispersed away from us.
"Daddy, she ran into me!" My mouth dropped as Emily's father, the principle, walked up to us.
"Ms. Son, do you have anything against my daughter?"
"No!"
"Did you run into her?"
"Yes, but it wasn't on purpose!"
"My office, now." I growled and followed him into the office and sat on the chair opposite of him.
"Gohan, why are you always angry?"
"Why is she always so preppy?!" His eyes narrowed at me.
"I'm calling your parents."
"Go ahead, I'm in trouble anyway." I watched silently as he dialed the house number, but he hung up without speaking.
"They don't seem to be home…"
"Well, I don't know what to tell you."
"Hang on minute." He picked the phone up again and this time someone answered.
"Are you Gohan's God-Mother?" It looked like she was talking for a minute and he opened his mouth again.
"Well she is in trouble again, and her parents are not home…No she is not suspended, but I would like someone to know she has detention." I rolled my eyes.
"So you call Bulma?" I raised my eyebrow and glared at the principle. He narrowed his eyes at me while saying good bye to my 'aunt'.
"You have serious attitude problems, young lady!"
"So does your daughter! All she does is walk around school like she is all high and mighty while you sit on your stupid chair and watch! Frankly, I am tired of it, and it is none of your or her business what I do with my life." I stated coldly. He blinked and pointed at the door.
"Class, now." I walked silently out the door.
LUNCH!
I walked out of my 4th period math class and made my way towards my usual spot. A small table under a Sycamore tree. I set my stuff down and sat on the edge of the table. I grabbed my lunch capsule and started to eat my usual. A sandwich, apple, protein shake, and a small cupcake. The shake made it to where I didn't have to eat as much to keep my energy up. I was silent, just listening to the cars of high school weirdos drive passed me. To clarify, I am the outcast, they are the 'normal' people. I grabbed my headphones and slipped them into my ears. I turned on Spotify on my cell and slowly munched on my sandwich. My dad's song "When I'm Gone" starts to play.
Have you ever loved someone so much, you'd give an arm for?
Not the expression, no, literally give an arm for?
When they know they're your heart
And you know you were their armour
And you will destroy anyone who would try to harm her
But what happens when karma, turns right around and bites you?
And everything you stand for, turns on you to spite you?
What happens when you become the main source of her pain?
"Daddy look what I made", Dad's gotta go catch a plane
"Daddy where's Mommy? I can't find Mommy where is she?"
I don't know go play Hailie, baby, your Daddy's busy
Daddy's writing a song, this song ain't gonna write itself
I'll give you one underdog then you gotta swing by yourself
Then turn right around in that song and tell her you love her
And put hands on her mother, who's a spitting image of her
That's Slim Shady, yeah baby, Slim Shady's crazy
Shady made me, but tonight Shady's rocka-by-baby...
And when I'm gone, just carry on, don't mourn
Rejoice every time you hear the sound of my voice
Just know that I'm looking down on you smiling
And I didn't feel a thing, So baby don't feel no pain
Just smile back
And when I'm gone, just carry on, don't mourn
Rejoice every time you hear the sound of my voice
Just know that I'm looking down on you smiling
And I didn't feel a thing, So baby don't feel no pain
Just smile back...
I keep having this dream, I'm pushin' Hailie on the swing
She keeps screaming, she don't want me to sing
"You're making Mommy cry, why? Why is Mommy crying?"
Baby, Daddy ain't leaving no more, "Daddy you're lying"
"You always say that, you always say this is the last time
But you ain't leaving no more, Daddy you're mine"
She's piling boxes in front of the door trying to block it
"Daddy please, Daddy don't leave, Daddy - no stop it!"
Goes in her pocket, pulls out a tiny necklace locket
It's got a picture, "This'll keep you safe Daddy, take it withcha'"
I look up, it's just me standing in the mirror
These fuckin' walls must be talking, cuz man I can hear 'em
They're saying "You've got one more chance to do right" - and it's tonight
Now go out there and show 'em that you love 'em before it's too late
And just as I go to walk out of my bedroom door
It turns to a stage, they're gone, and this spotlight is on
And I'm singing...
Sixty thousand people, all jumping out their seat
The curtain closes, they're throwing roses at my feet
I take a bow and thank you all for coming out
They're screaming so loud, I take one last look at the crowd
I glance down, I don't believe what I'm seeing
"Daddy it's me, Help Mommy, her wrists are bleeding"
But baby we're in Sweden, how did you get to Sweden?
"I followed you Daddy, you told me that you weren't leavin'
"You lied to me Dad, and now you make Mommy sad
"And I bought you this coin, it says 'Number One Dad'
"That's all I wanted, I just want to give you this coin"
"I get the point - fine, me and Mommy are gone"
But baby wait, "it's too late Dad, you made the choice
"Now go up there and show 'em that you love 'em more than us"
That's what they want, they want you Marshall
They keep.. screamin' your name
It's no wonder you can't go to sleep, just take another pill
Yeah, I bet you you will. You rap about it, yeah, word, k-keep it real
I hear applause, all this time I couldn't see
How could it be, that the curtain is closing on me
I turn around, find a gun on the ground, cock it
Put it to my brain, scream "Die Shady!" and pop it
The sky darkens, my life flashes, the plane that I was
Supposed to be on crashes and burns to ashes
That's when I wake up, alarm clock's ringin', there's birds singin'
It's spring and Hailie's outside swinging, I walk right up to Kim and kiss her
Tell her I miss her, Hailie just smiles and winks at her little sister
Almost as if to say
And when I'm gone, just carry on, don't mourn
Rejoice every time you hear the sound of my voice
Just know that I'm looking down on you smiling
And I didn't feel a thing, So baby don't feel no pain
Just smile back
And when I'm gone, just carry on, don't mourn
Rejoice every time you hear the sound of my voice
Just know that I'm looking down on you smiling
And I didn't feel a thing, So baby don't feel no pain
Just smile back...
I sighed and looked up as Erasa sat across from me.
"You don't have to be here if you don't want to." I stated simply.
"Gohan, I've known you since we were three, of course I am going to sit with you." I smiled a small smile and continued to eat.
"I thought you had detention?"
"Nah, not until the end of the day…" Rase nodded and looked around.
"So, who are you taking to Twirp?"
"No one. I'm not going."
"WHAT!? But it's at Capsule Corporation this year! It's the perfect opportunity for you to see everyone again!"
"Exactly why I'm not going." Her eyes narrowed.
"You are going to that dance alone or not. I will force you."
"Against my crazy ass mother?"
"Even she can't stop me!"
"You're crazy, you know that?"
"Yes." I chuckled at my friend's antics. We sat in silence for a little longer, but the conversation got turned on again by Erasa…like normal.
"So, are you trying out for the gymnastics team again? Your were captain of JV last year."
"Maybe."
"Come on! It will be fun!" I shrugged while leaning against the tree.
"If I say yes, would you stop asking?"
"If you say yes, will you keep it?"
"I don't know."
"Then no."
"I don't know what my mom will say."
"Well then I will force you."
"Okay." I replied simply. She looked at me and sighed.
"Gohan, I know its been hard, but that doesn't mean you give up! The Gohan I know will fight till the very end!"
"What is there to fight for?! My mom married an ass hole who hates me, she herself hates me, and Goten has no clue what is going on! The only family I have ever thought I had never even speaks to me anymore! God! It's just so frustrating that everyone thinks I'm the bad guy when all I have been doing is doing my damnedest to do what's right." I snapped. I saw the understanding, yet sad look in her eyes.
"I know. Which is why you need to go to the dance, and go tryout for Gym. Maybe people might give you a chance, hm?" She smiled at me. I slouched slightly, knowing she was right.
"Okay, fine."
"YAY!" She squealed happily.
I know, kinda short, but I had to update or I was going to die myself lol :D
