"You have a fate to fulfill." The voice beckons from the other end of the phone line.

"And what would that fate be?" Her voice cracks, but venom laces with each single word. "Be just like you? A monster!" She sneers out.

"I am no such." His formality comes out in his voice. "I am what I am, you need to live up to what you are meant to be." He snaps. "Time is running out." He growls.

"What time?!" She yells. "I didn't beg you to make me like you are." She hisses. "I refuse to be like you or have anything to do with you. I'd advice you to lose my phone number, and don't attempt to contact me again."

Pulling the phone from her ear, she hits the end button sighing. Leaning against the brick building of the club she had been inside working her police job at, undercover. Emily Cullen holds the phone against her chest letting a dreadful sigh escape her lips. "Shit." She whispers to herself before pushing herself off the wall.

Her high heels clacking against the pavement below her feet. She takes and lets a sigh escape her lips, "Are you kidding me?" She stops seeing four men up above blocking her path to escape back into the nightmare, she called a job.

"We're not kidding." One of the four shadows speak out. "Your father sent us." He alerts her.

"Did he now?" Emily crosses her arms across her chest. "As far as I am concern. My father is dead to me. My adopted father has raised and taken care of me." Emily tells the four. "So, go back to wherever the fuck you came from!" She exclaims.

"We can't do that, princess." Another muscular voice erupts.

"I'd advise you to do so." Emily warns.

"Or what?" Another voice taunts.

Seeing the four emerge from the shadows, Emily narrows her eyes at them. "Of course. He'd send his right-hand flunky and his four followers." Emily grins at the four of them.

"Of course, he did." Corey grins. "Just like he sent us to kill your adopted family as well." Corey smirks.

"You best not." Emily warns.

"If you don't abide his rule and come. Then we will." Sid smirks. "I like hacking people up, then devouring their blood." He snickers.

"You sick, fuck." Emily snarls. "Give me some time. I have a job. A life!" Emily exclaims. "Twenty-four hours." Corey warns before the four turn and disappear.

Sighing to herself, Emily leans back into the wall frowning. This just couldn't get any worse. But in her world, it could. Sighing she walked inside and back to her partner. She had to finish his out, and find out what her father wanted.
