Chapter 2
The hospital...
Alex Rider and Victoria Romanov had just come back from their mission in Russia. It was a particularly bad one and they had escaped with a lot of bullet wounds. They were both in surgery. Why the mission had failed, no one knew but Mrs Jones was going to find out.
"Mrs Jones? They're out of surgery but I'm afraid there were some complications." a doctor said quietly.
Mrs Jones signaled for him to go on.
"Neither of them will be able to talk but they have gained a few... abilities." he paused. "Both have telepathy and weather control,Agent Rider has pyrokinesis and Agent Romanov has telekinesis and..."
"And?"
"The Avengers want to adopt them." he said
"Inform them. They will be going to Stark towers in three days." Mrs jones said, taking a sip of tea.
"yes ma'am." the doctor hurried off.
