So, before I start this one-shot, this is an AU about Dipper as a transgender. I don't really think he's trans in the actual show, but that is a good conspiracy theory tho, but it just annoys me a little bit cuz some people I know drive me crazy with it. I don't hate trans genders, It's just the theory is annoying me now because all my friends just wanna talk about that it annoys me a little. I use to believe the theory as well, but it now it just got old(just my opinion) Okay on with the story

Dipper stared at himself in the mirror. Everything seemed to be right about him, right?

Think again.

He was a transgender. He was happy the way he was, but not everyone knows about this, and it bothers him to keep it as a secret. Keeping it a secret from his family really bothers him as well.

It wasn't a choice he made, it was his parents. His parents told him to keep it a secret from Stan for the whole summer. Dipper didn't want to keep it a secret from any of his family. He knows Stan would be okay with it, right?

Right?

Maybe Dipper was wrong and Stan would send him back home to Piedmont for the rest of the summer while his sister stayed up there. No, Dipper won't let that happen. No way is he gonna let it happen.

He sighed. He looked at his chest, which was covered up with a sports bra. He smiled a little at it. He was glad that he got to be what he wanted to be.

A boy.

He was proud of himself. He loved the way he looked. He used to hate the way he looked, but when he came out, he started to love his self when he started to change. His sister accepted him, his mom, his dad, they all accepted him. And he started to accept himself.

Maybe he should come out to Grunkle Stan.

Dipper took a deep breath as he stood in front of Stan. His hands were trembling, he was nervous and anxious.

"Dipper, are you okay? You look really nervous like your wanting to tell me something shocking."

Dipper shut his eyes tight balling his fists. His voice shook as he began to speak, "I'm trans."

"Wha-" Stan was off the edge of his seat in the armchair. His eyes went wide as he heard the words come out of the boy's mouth.

"Are you mad?" The boy asked opening one eye.

"No."

"I'm sorry, I should've never told-wait, what?"

"I'm not mad at ya, kiddo." Stan had a soft grin on his face as he glared at the boy with a proud look.

Dipper blinked getting rid of the tears. "Y-you're not?"

"Why would I? I accept ya for who you are."

Dipper felt more tears develop in the corner of his eyes. He let them slide down as he smiled. Stan saw the tears sliding down Dipper's cheeks. "W-what's wrong, why are you crying?" Stan asked a little concerned.

"Nothing," Dipper replied sniffling, he wiped a tear away as it slid down," I'm just glad you accept me."

Stan smiled again, he embraced the boy in a surprise hug. "I love you, Dipper. I don't care who or what you are, any shape or form, I still ya."

"I love you too, Grunkle Stan," replied Dipper as he wrapped his arms around the man returning the embrace.
