Tsuki-chan: Yeah, so like I said in Forgiven, I gave up on waiting for reviews. It really disappoints me, but…I guess it's your choice –sigh-
Last time…
The cat got up and stretched, before transforming into her human form. Her medium length black hair swung lightly, and her dark onyx eyes examined the house.
"Not bad…" Shiori muttered.
Chapter 2
She sat down, next to Sasuke's sleeping form.
"I wonder what it's like to live with him…Is he as annoying as at school?" she muttered quietly. Smiling to herself, she remembered that they had training tomorrow. "I should probably make dinner since I'm here…" she realized. Skipping to the kitchen, she pulled out some ingredients, finding enough to make onigiri, chicken teriyaki, and miso soup. Transforming back into her cat form, she nuzzled against Sasuke. Sasuke woke with a start.
"Wha—?" he said before realizing that the cat was still here. With a toss of her head, Shiori signalled for Sasuke to follow her. Sasuke looked confused but followed her anyways. "I must be crazy, following a cat." He moaned. Shiori growled at him, shaking her head furiously. Sasuke stopped at the doorway to the kitchen, amazed. "You made this? How is that possible?" he asked in amazement, looking at the neatly made food on the table. Shiori looked up at his with liquid golden eyes. They seemed to be asking something…
"Do you promise you won't tell?" a voice emanated in his mind. Sasuke jumped. Staring down at the cat, he seemed very afraid. Shiori looked up at him with intelligent eyes.
"I promise." He said after calming down. Shiori nuzzled him. Taking a few steps back, she transformed. Standing up, she laughed.
"Well, Uchiha! Surprised?" she smiled. Sasuke smirked.
"Very, Takeda. I figured a cat couldn't do this. You must have transformed while I was asleep?" he guessed. Shiori smirked, clapping her hands.
"Very good, Uchiha!" she laughed. "By the way, I like your house." She informed him. Sasuke smiled, just a tiny bit.
"…Thank…you…" he said slowly. Shiori stared in amazement.
"Wow, the Uchiha said thank you!" she giggled. Sasuke rolled his eyes.
"Hn, whatever, Takeda." He smirked. Shiori clapped her hands once.
"Anyways, let's eat!" she exclaimed. Sasuke nodded. Over dinner, they talked small talk and learned a little more about each other.
"Why did you make dinner in the first place?" he asked curiously. Shiori smiled gently.
"Since you brought me over here, I thought I should make dinner." She replied quietly. Sasuke nodded absently.
"You know, you're pretty…good for a girl. I wonder why we never talked before…" he muttered. Shiori smiled sadly.
"Thank you. You're not bad yourself. Maybe it was because we hated each other, I wasn't a fangirl, and my best friend is Shika?" she said, amused. Sasuke nodded.
"I suppose that was why. Does this mean we don't hate each other anymore?" He said.
"I guess we don't now, hm?" Shiori sighed, having finished dinner. Standing up and walking away from the table, she transformed into a cat again. Sasuke smiled. Holding out his arms, he beckoned for her to jump into them. Purring, she leaped up into his arms, snuggling against him.
"Heh…" he chuckled. "You're so much more affectionate in your cat form." Shiori stared up at him.
"Is that good or bad?" her voice emanated. Sasuke smirked down at her.
"What do you think?" he said slyly. Meowing loudly, she jumped out of his arms.
"UCHIHA SASUKE!!" the volume of the noise almost burst his head. Sasuke held his now throbbing head, moaning.
"Damn…Takeda…that hurt…" he whined. Shiori transformed again. Giggling she ran over to Sasuke, hugging him lightly.
"Gomen, Uchiha." She whispered. Hearing the rain pounding down onto the roof, she uttered a soft 'oh' of surprise. "It's…raining…" she muttered. They sat in silence for a minute, still in their embrace. A crash of thunder broke the silence, lightning lighting up Shiori's pale, terrified face. She screamed in that instant, hurling herself into Sasuke's arms, crying silently.
"T-Takeda? Are you okay?" Sasuke asked, bewildered. Shiori merely whimpered, jumping again when another crash of thunder erupted. "Shiori? Are you scared of thunder?" he whispered gently. Her black head bobbed up and down in his arms. He pulled her closer. "But if you live alone, how do you normally get through these things?" he asked quietly.
"I-I just h-hide s-somewhere s-small…" she stuttered, tears still trickling down her cheeks. Sasuke rested his chin on her head.
"Sleep." He commanded her. She shivered in his arms. "You can stay here with me tonight." He said.
"D-Don't leave me…" she whispered, almost inaudibly. Sasuke looked down at her with soft eyes.
"I won't…I promise." He reassured her.
"Arigatou…Sasuke." She let out in a breath. With a sigh, Shiori let go of the painful consciousness, sinking into relieving darkness. Sasuke looked at the finally calm girl, thinking. In moments like these…I suppose even ones like us know how to loosen up… Closing his eyes, he too, sank into oblivion.

"Takeda, wake up. We have training." Sasuke said, shaking the sleeping form of the slight girl. She sat up sleepily.
"What? Where am I?" she muttered incoherently. Seeing Sasuke, she jumped up to her feet. "N-Nani? Uchiha?" she exclaimed, tense. As the memory of the eventful day before sank in, she relaxed in relief. "Uchiha…arigatou for yesterday. Iie, should I say…Sasuke?" She finished with a whisper, her head bowed. Sasuke looked surprised.
"You're welcome…Shiori." He replied, smirking. Shiori stamped her foot childishly.
"Maa! Uchi—I mean, Sasuke, why are you always smirking?" she exclaimed. Sasuke smirked again.
"Come on, T—Shiori. We're going to be late for training." Sasuke said. Shiori grumbled.
"No, we don't. Not for another two hours…and let me eat breakfast." She complained to Sasuke. Sasuke looked shocked.
"Kakashi-sensei said not to eat breakfast and to be there at 5:00 am…" he muttered. Shiori shrugged.
"Sasuke, Kashi-kun is always late, and breakfast won't make you throw up." She replied, proceeding to go into the kitchen, making breakfast for both of them. Sasuke looked puzzled.
"Why Kashi-kun?" he asked, following her, seating himself at the table. Shiori turned her head.
"Oh, Kashi-kun used to take care of me, until I insisted that I could take care of myself." She smiled sadly.
"Sou ka…" Sasuke murmured. Shiori smiled, showing Sasuke the breakfast she had made so quickly for them. Sasuke looked so happy, it made Shiori confused.
"Sasuke? Do you not eat like this normally?" she asked. Sasuke shook his head.
"I…I don't really know how to cook." He confessed. Shiori laughed, truly laughed, a melodious laugh that filled the room with song. "You have a pretty laugh…" he said without thinking. Shiori stopped laughing, smiling at him instead.
"Why, thank you! If you like my cooking that much, you're welcome to come over to my house. I'll cook for you sometimes." She offered. Sasuke nodded.
"I would like that very much. Maybe you should come over here sometimes, ne?" he asked. Shiori giggled, nodding.
"That'd be a lot of fun, ne? Oh, Sasuke! What's your favourite food?" she smiled. Sasuke thought for not even a half second.
"Tomatoes." He stated firmly.
