Chapter 1
"Hey, Roxas, you're late!" I heard Axel yell as I walked around the corner sitting by him. "heh, sorry Axel. Got caught up in a mission." I smiled takeing the sea-salt ice-cream from him. Axel was my best buddy. But here lately I've been feeling strange around him. Like I can't lose him and if I did I wouldn't be able to live. I don't understand this kuz, as a nobody I have no heart like Axel. Heh he would probably laugh at me if he knew what I was thinking. Is this what Namine was talking about when she said I had fallen in love with Axel? "Roxas you and Axel are close right?" she had said looking at me from across the table. "Well yah he's my best friend. I don't know what I would do if I lost him." "Have you noticed anything different in him?" she replied. "Yo! Roxie! You okay? Snap outa it!" I felt axels hand on my back snapping me out of my thoughts. "Hu Um yah I'm fine, s-sorry about that Axel." I smiled at him biting into my ice-cream. "You zoned out there what were you thinking about?" he smiled at me his hand still on my back. When I realized this I blushed slightly. "Just some stupid stuff no big deal." "Heh, if you say so. Anyway I have a pretty long mission tomorrow so I won't be here for a while. You going to be okay without me?" he smiled hugging me with one arm. "u-um y-yah ill manage I guess." He isn't going to be here…man I wanted to spend my off day with him. Oh well I guess I could go see Sora and the others. "Don't miss me to much Roxie. Later!" with that he was gone. "I will…..Axel" I sighed and finished my ice-cream alone before returning to my room in the castle. Do I love Axel? If I do, how is it possible? I'm a nobody we have no hearts. I don't understand. I heard a knock on my door. "Come in?" I spoke softly a few seconds later the door opened and Saix walked in.
