The Next Morning…

Olivia didn't get any sleep last night. She kept having nightmares about Jake. She really needed something to get her mind off him. Olivia went to the bathroom. She looked at herself in the mirror. She had a black eye and her lip was busted but her mom stitched it up. She pulled her shirt up and she had a bruise where her ribs were but she was glad that they weren't broken.

Olivia went downstairs to get something to drink but when she got down there she saw her brother. "Marcus? What are you doing here."

"Thank god you're okay. I came as soon as mom told me." Marcus said. Marcus was Olivia's older brother by two years. He was married to a girl named Ariel with two boys, Austin(3) and Mason(7).

"Marcus thanks for coming but you should be home with your family. I'm fine with mom and dad."

"You sure?"

"Yeah. I promise. If I need you I will call you." Olivia said then hugged him.

He hugged her tight but not too tight to hurt her. After they let go Marcus just looked at her. "I'm glad Dad got a hold of him before I did." Marcus said.

Olivia could tell that he was angry. "But it's my fault all this happened."

"Don't blame yourself for his actions." Marcus said. "Look I brought you some food and I got your favorite wine. Don't sit around thinking about how it's your fault. Maybe you need to talk to someone. Maybe you should call Abby." Marcus said.

"Yeah I think talking to Abby might help. Thanks big Bro."

"No problem little sis. I'll see you later." He said then hugged her goodbye. Before he left he told her. "You are free and you are okay."

Olivia kept repeating those words in her head. "You are free and you are okay." Olivia opened the bottle of wine and watched tv and ate what Marcus brought her.

Olivia was contemplating on calling Abby. She finally made a decision. She drunk the rest of her wine then called her best friend.

"Hello?"

"Hey Abby, It's Liv."

Abby was Liv's best friend since 5th grade. They had each other's back no matter what. Abby was married to a guy named David and they had a little girl named Lily.

"Oh hey Liv, how are you?"

Olivia knew something was up. Abby never asked her how she was. "Abby did Marcus tell you already?"

"Yes. Liv I'm happy you called me."

"Yeah I'm glad too. I don't know what I would do if I didn't call you."

One Hour Later…

After talking to her best friend and getting advice Olivia took one of Abby's ideas and considered on going to the gym to get her anger out.

Olivia got dressed. She put on makeup to cover up the marks on her face. She then headed to the gym. When she got there she started off by lifting weights, then she went to punch the punching bag. She was doing good until she saw a guy. He was so good looking. He had brown hair, a nice body. Olivia couldn't stop staring at him. When he turned around she turned her head and continued doing what she was doing. She really hoped he didn't see her staring.

After Olivia finished her session at the gym she felt a lot better. She got rid of all the anger inside of her.

Weeks Later…

Everyday Olivia would talk to Abby. Abby made sure she was eating and taking care of herself properly. Then she would go to the gym to workout. Everyday she would see that guy. He caught her staring at him so he walked over to her.

"Hi." The handsome guy said.

"Hi." Olivia said back.

"So I saw you staring and I just thought I should come over and say Hi." He said then smiled.

"Sorry about that." Olivia said then blushed.

"No need to be sorry. My name Is Fitzgerald but everyone calls me Fitz."

"Hi Fitz My name is Olivia." Olivia said then shook his hand.

"It's nice to finally meet you." Fitz said then his phone started to ring. He picked it up then rolled his eyes. "I gotta run. I hope I see you around again." Fitz said then left.

Olivia smiled then went home. Olivia wanted to go home and go to sleep but her parents had another idea. When Olivia walked into the house she saw her brother and his wife and their two boys.

Olivia put her things down. "Hi, what are y'all doing here?"

"Oh Liv, I am so happy to see that you are doing much better." Olivia's sister in law said.

"Hey Auntie Liv." Mason said. He got up and gave her a hug.

"Hi Auntie Wiv." Austin said then ran over to Olivia and hugged her. Olivia picked him up and kissed his cheek. She loved her Nephews so much.

"Well the boys wanted to see you, so I just brought them over. We aren't staying long." Marcus said.

"It's fine, I'm happy that you all came. It seems like forever since I seen them." Olivia said then ran her fingers through Marcus's hair. "Where is mom and dad?"

"Oh they went to dinner. They are on there weekly date." Marcus said.

"Wow I really have missed a lot." Olivia said as her eyes started to water.

"Liv it's fine. They just started doing this again. You know they stopped going once we got older. Cause we all would go out together. Now they just want to bond a lot more." Marcus said.

Olivia wiped her eyes. "You guys want anything to eat?"

"Oh no we already ate." Ariel said.

"Liv, We are gonna get going they Marcus has school tomorrow." Marcus said.

"Okay." Olivia gave Austin a kiss then handed him to his mom then she hugged and kissed Marcus. She gave Ariel a hug and then she hugged her brother. Olivia made dinner for herself and went to bed.
