Actually, I tried to write faster to get to the parts I really wanted to work on. X3

But things won't be perfect if we rush, right?
So I'll go on at a stable pace.

AGAIN, I STRONGLY ADVISE EVERYONE INTERESTED IN MY FAN FICTION ATTEMPT, TO LISTEN TO THE MUSIC WITH HEAD PHONES ON WHILE READING THE STORY. SEEING AS I GET INSPIRATION TO WRITE MY STORIES WITH THESE SONGS, MY WORK WILL BE MORE ENJOYABLE WHILE LISTENING TO IT. ;)

Also, I would like to thank those who have liked my previous stories and chapters seeing as I put so much work into them. I honestly appreciate it and it encourages me to move forward and write more of the story! :D

Perhaps this will become a multiple series work since I've just found my plot is able to continue for a bit longer. I tried to finish the entire plot and summary in one afternoon and then I uploaded the chapter. I found out that one series/chapter isn't enough and it would be boring if I upload everything in just one chapter. As I count, I've discovered that I have already written summaries for over 10 chapters of this story! I can't wait to finish them as soon as possible!

(I'll try my best to put less of these nagging things before and after I start my chapter the next time XP)

AND, REALLY WANTED TO GIVE THANKS TO THE DARK CRIMSON BLOOD AGAIN FOR WILLING TO BECOME MY BETA! THE STORY HAD BECOME MORE INTERESTING BECAUSE OF HIS HELP! I WISH I COULD WRITE LIKE HIM/ HER SOMEDAY. FOR REAL, THANKS AGAIN! :D I REALLY LIKE HOW YOU MADE THIS STORY MORE INTERESTING!

Chapter 2: Greetings

The only sound echoing through the hallway was the sound of a person opening a door with a somewhat squeaky doorknob. The sound resounded through the area before it hushes once the door opens. The same noise is repeated when the door produces a slightly lower pitched sound as the door creaks open. A large hand switches on the lights and letting the door click shut by itself. He ignores the way the light refuses to shine in the darkened corners, leaving them distastefully black and empty looking.

Moving across the room to his desk, the owner of the room switches his computer on with ease before he takes his seat in front of the monitor. In the black screen, his features are briefly visible. Brown hair with a blond streak down the middle, masculine face, and somewhat relaxed eyes were revealed within the mirror. He turns away and pulls a small bag onto his lap, taking out books and notes with his neatly written name at the top of each page 'Suguro Ryuji'. He places them in their correct order despite the limited space left on his desk.

It nearly takes Ryuji half an hour to finish all of his assignments, and afterwards he never really has to study afterwards. He's always been able to discipline himself when it came with studying and remembering things, he's always been good at memorizing things anyway. It was simply how his mind works, and because of this he always manages to solve questions correctly without referring or even thinking about his notes. It's also thanks to this ability of his that he's always able to finish his homework and assignments so easily without anyone's help. He's especially good in mathematics, seeing as he can efficiently memorize the correct formula and answer whatever equation he needed to solve with absolute ease.

As a child, his friends would always tease and insult him by calling him an 'overpowered memorizing monster'. He distantly remembered it.

After ensuring his work was completely done without a single mistake, Ryuji silently slides his books back and logs back onto the computer. He taps his fingers on the wooden desk as the computer boots and the program starts. He clicks on the icon for a web browser and heads straight for the first link saved on his computer, one of his favorite social websites.

Ryuji enjoys uploading and posting things of himself singing of playing instruments on the internet. It made him feel proud when he received compliments from other singers and viewers online, and because he likes to sing a lot this helps him gain confidence on his own talent. He feels as if he's being surrounded by people who share the same dream and have the same determination he has. This makes him feel as if he wasn't alone.

He glances through the webpage and clicks on his private messages. Moving the mouse, he clicks on the envelope icon and opens the next page. It turns out the message was from another online singer who had requested him to sing one of the songs they've; he replies in an instant, his fingers practically flying over the keyboard. He presses send and now, with a frown on his face, he reads the name of the sender of the second message.

He frowns further as he opens it, and both the name and the address is unfamiliar to him. 'I wonder who sent this…' he wonders to himself, one of his brown eyebrows lifting in curiosity.

"… Rin Okumura..." He reads, realizing the name to be a surprisingly popular yet new account on the website. This person doesn't have his face captured on the internet, and there are no pictures or videos that show him what Rin looks like. Instead he, or maybe she, put a random picture of from the album of the song he was covering in the video. Yet, even though Bon couldn't see the person's face, he can't help but notice how magnificent his voice was.

He's a gifted singer because his voice was unique, it had a vibe to it that brought people to it and made them crave for more. He suits almost every song Bon can think of, and his voice is soft and gentle yet loud and rough when it needs to be. Perhaps Rin was a girl? The video does show that Rin can handle high pitched sections of songs that boys normally can't do.

Ryuji changes the page again and checks Rin's profile, and is slightly surprised to find out that Rin is defiantly a boy. Perhaps Rin was gifted by god with such a wonderful voice.

As he reads the mail that had been sent to him by Okumura Rin, he finds that Rin is typically a shy and timid person. He also learns that Rin has never had any friends before, which also surprises him. He wonders just why Rin hasn't had any friends before; did he have a bad temper? Was he weird looking? Yet, as he continues to read through the letter he can't help but feel as if Rin is a kind and caring person who considers other people's feelings. So why can't he simply get a friend?

Lips turning into a frown at his own question; Ryuji folds one of his palms into a fist and places it underneath his chin. He wonders how he's supposed to reply to this, since it would be really awkward if he were to ask Rin why he doesn't have a friend when Ryuji doesn't even know the guy. He leaves the question behind and puts his hands on the keyboard once again. His fingers fly across the keys once again.

"Hello! It's nice to meet you! I enjoy listening to your voice. You're a really talented singer and I believe that it would be quite easy for you to become famous or even get a job in this field. It would be my pleasure to have someone like you as a friend of mine, so you don't have to be ashamed to ask about it! And again, it's very nice to meet you!

"Oh! Yukio! He said he's willing to become my friend!" A pale skinned teenager says with a wide green on his face. He pulls his younger brother over towards him and shows the brown haired teenager the screen. He can't help but be excited and bounce around at the tought of finally getting a friend successfully. "The old man's advice was right!" Rin exclaims as he grins even further in the excitement.

"Glad to hear that, Nii-san!" Yukio replies to Rin's glee with qa gentle smile and kind eyes, he had never seen his brother so happy before. In Yukio's mind it was a good thing, and obviously he was happy when his brother was happy. So, as Yukio watches his brother prance around the room and flail his limbs as if he were some sort of drugged animal with a newfound extra limb, Yukio can't help but let out a long sigh of relief.

"Maybe, 'Suguro will become Rin's good friend… Maybe, Rin will be happier from now on."

"By the way," Rin said, suddenly stopping all rapid movement and turning to his brother "Yukio, can you teach me how to make a video?"

It takes a surprisingly long amount of time for Yukio to teach Rin how to make a video, and he even started him off by handing him and explaining what he would need. "You're all set, Nii-san" Yukio says with a clap of his hands, obviously satisfied with everything he's done. "So what are you attempting to sing this time?"

"Okay, I'll sing this Prayer Blue for this video" He says as he grins at the video camera proudly, yet there was just a hint of nervousness in his shimmering blue eyes. "It's still really embarrassing, seeing as this is my first time singing in a video that will show my voice and my face… But I'll try my best!"

Rin turns on the play button with a single click of a button on the media player, and just as the intro ends Rin takes a deep breath and sings.

Just smile at the changing seasons
That's all life

Sparkling, that manipulated sou lis going to deep sleep
Leaving a proof that it once lived here
Let's deeply carve it one by one rather than struggling

Lit fleetingly during the moment of running around rapidly
My heart hurts at the ended dream
Lead on a journey that continues,
I have to believe
We will create our own irreplaceable future

My body is shivering and don't put out walking by a disturbing premonition
Even I committed a wish to a fragment of my memory
I cannot even change anything by myself
During the bewilderment, there still is a wish that you cannot give up on
Only you walk all along the way with me

The flower that ascends to black sky will live
And it seems to charm this pretty figure at this place once again
The silence before dawn
We will inhale that sounded breath of stars
To constantly pray

Eye that dried from headwinds
There still is a drop of tears
I recalled a distant past
If I cross this wind, Will I find the opened gate to a new world?
To that fantasy future...

Can ride the wind and gather rain
These things are also conveyed to us
Even if the time that I visit the countless sorrow came
I'm still going on
No matter how many times even to the point that sky won't tell
I will still repeat the prayer
Tonight I will stretch out this hand

-This is not part of the story-

I recently found out that it's quite hard to find a title, so I try to find Japanese songs and use their titles. I'll probably add in a few Korean songs that I know as well, because I would really like to share the songs I like with others who might enjoy them too. I think, I'm not really sure. Anyway, I also like to sing- which is part of the reason I wrote this chapter/story (original: novel) XP… Okay, I'm living in my world right now, I know…. But I hope you guys like/liked my fan fiction story.
