~Before~
"Have you heard about the new girl moving in today?" That was the gossip of the day supplied early in the morning for the group usually given by the perky girl called Alice. There were a few mutters and groans but not much worth continuing the conversation with the question.
"I heard she was moving in from Alaska or Canada," she hummed trying to remember exactly what she had heard, not being able to; she voiced another trivial tidbit she had heard, "I heard she's an absolute genius, most of all at music. Wonder why she's moving hereā¦" Alice's drifting off as her eyebrow's furrowed in thought. She really hated not knowing something.
"Bet, this new fucker can't beat Edward," Bella said her tone light unlike her normally; she stretched her legs over Edward's knees as she waited for the bell to ring. Her hands wove into his bronze hair as he smiled at her compliment. Today was boring day and all Bella wanted to do was go home and relax. She hated school with passion.
"Yeah well, she better stay out of my way," came in an input from the blonde Rosalie across the table, "I have enough of these new girls think they know everything but they know shit." One thing Rose could not stand was change.
"I'm sure she'll be fine, you hate most people anyway," Alice retorted with a bit of force as she watched Rosalie's boyfriend lean in and whisper in her ear. Alice hated being the only one without a boyfriend in a group full of couples.
The bell rang mercifully and everyone parted their own way, Bella grabbed on Edward's hand tightly like usual. It was a custom.
