(In Star City, at an abandoned warehouse)

Black Canary: (offscreen) Well, this is very unexpected.

(In the warehouse, Black Canary sits a chair with her hands tied from behind and her ankles tied to the chair's legs as she gets captured by some crime boss)

Unnamed crime boss: Well well well. Looks like we've caught myself a canary or should I say a Black Canary.

(The crime boss and his two henchmen laughs as Black Canary rolled her eyes)

Black Canary: Haha! Very funny. (To the crime boss) May I ask what you're do with a pretty blonde woman like me?

Unnamed crime boss: Let's just say your boyfriend put some of my buddies in prison and I'm gonna get him back. Boys!

(The crime boss's henchmen point their guns at Black Canary)

Unnamed crime boss: Any last words?

Black Canary: (smirks) Yes, now!

(Suddenly, the guns were lifted from out of the gangsters's hands and were crushed together)

Gangster #1: What gives?

Unnamed crime boss: Why are all the guns floating in mid-air? (To Black Canary) Did you bring Martian Manhunter?

Black Canary: (smirks) Nope, just my new partner.

(A sonic scream destroys a part of the wall, causing a hole as Black Canary's protege, Metal Canary enters)

Metal Canary: Time to take on some bad guys!

Unnamed crime boss: (surprised) Who are you supposed to be?

Metal Canary: (doing a pose) I'm Metal Canary and Black Canary is my mentor!

Unnamed crime boss: What?! Black Canary doesn't have a sidekick!

Metal Canary: She does now and i prefer to be called her protege.

Unnamed crime boss: (To his henchmen) Get her!

(The henchmen charge at Metal Canary, who lets out a Canary Cry that sends them slamming against the walls)

Metal Canary: (turns her attention to the crime boss) Let Black Canary go now or else!

Unnamed crime boss: Or else what?! You're hust a little girl!

(The crime boss charges at Metal Canary, the latter hits him with a few jabs and kicks, sending him to the ground, knocking him out, then uses some metal rods to restrain him)

Metal Canary: (To the crime boss) Ha! In your face!

(Metal Canary went to untie Black Canary)

Metal Canary: (untying her aunt from the chair) Did you let herself get captured just to test what you?

Black Canary: Yes.

Metal Canary: Yeah!

Metal Canary: (gives her aunt a hug) Oh, Aunt Dinah. (Black Canary returns a hug as well) Why didn't Ollie come to rescue you?

Black Canary: Batman needed him for someone.

Metal Canary: Does this mean I can join the Team?

(Black Canary nods)

Metal Canary: (jumps up in the air) Yes!
