A/N: yea so this is chapter two. I'm sorry for taking so long I was focusing on another story and I barely get time to write for summer. I missed everyone. XD
When Hibari joined Namimori middle school he defeated all the delinquents in the school to make it safe for his little herbivore, or so he thought.
There was one gang that was always causing trouble. It wasn't trouble that harmed any civilians but Hibari believed that every gang disturbed the peace. Hibari couldn't find that gang's leader no matter how many times he tried. He would torture them, beat them within an inch of their lives, he even threatened them, but they still remained extremely loyal to their boss. But it wasn't out of fear that they were tight-lipped about their boss, they always talked about protecting their boss like he was a delicate flower and they respected him greatly.
This made Hibari interested in their leader. What kind of leader would get the absolute respect and loyalty of their subordinates without fear being involved? The person is probably very strong. Hibari thought. He was itching for a fight with their leader.
"Kyoya~, Kyoya~" Tsuna, now 12 years old called out. Hibari was in the middle of trying to beat information out of the second in command of the mysterious gang when Tsuna came around the corner.
"Tsunayoshi, what are you doing here?" Hibari growled while freezing in the middle of fighting the one that could give him his answers with his tonfas. The person he was fighting has silver hair up to his shoulders and green eyes that were sparkling in defiance. Hibari didn't notice the slight smile and superior look that came over his victims face as soon as he turned around.
"I came to find you Kyoya. Schools over for today and you just took off." Tsuna said. He tilted his head in confusion. " What are you doing?"
"Disciplining." Was what Hibari said as he raised his tonfa, about to swing it down and knock the delinquent out.
"Kyoya no, he doesn't have the information you want so let him go." Tsuna said sternly. Hibari turned back to glance at Tsuna in confusion, wondering how he knew that Hibari was trying to get information out of him. Hibari didn't notice the slight twitch in Tsuna's hand, a signal that the silver haired boy followed . The silver hair delinquent threw a smoke bomb, allowing him to escape. By the time Hibari turned around the boy was gone.
"Tsunayoshi, that was the second in command of a gang i've been trying to take down for months, Gokudera Hayato, and now he's gone." Hibari growled in anger.
Tears appeared in Tsuna's eyes at hearing Hibari's anger. "G-gomen Kyoya, I'll go find him for you. I don't want you to hate me." Tsuna ran out of the alley way with Hibari calling out for him to come back.
"That Idiot." Hibari snarled trying to chase after him but Tsuna knew all the shortcuts so Hibari soon lost sight of him.

From on top the roof of a building Tsuna was looking down at Hibari and laughing quietly.
"Hayato-" Tsuna said between his laughter to the boy that was standing next to him. "- I think its about time we let him know."
"Hai, Boss." The silver haired boy said with a smirk on his face. Calling Tsuna boss was a little joke between them. Looking at his boss and best friend now, he could never forget the day he met that little terror.
Hayato met Tsuna when they were nine, in Italy. Hayato found out the truth about his mother and ran away. He continued learning from the perverted doctor shamal and even lived with him for a while before shaman kicked him out. After about a week in the streets, while he was running away from the person he pickpocketed, he bumped into Tsuna in an alley. The first thing Hayato did was snarl at the cute little boy who blocked his way.
"Watch where you're going midget." A nine year old Hayato said with a snarl to the little boy with bright caramel eyes and fluffy brown hair. It came as a shock to Hayato when the little boy kicked him in the back of his knees, knocked him to the ground, and rubbed his face in the ground while sitting on Hayato's back.
The little boy leaned close to Hayato's ears and whispered. "Call me a midget again and you'll get worse than that, thief." The kid waved the stolen wallet in front of Hayato's face, making his eyes widen in shock. Hayato has never been caught before when he stole from someone so it came as a shock to him that a kid smaller than him could catch him.
" My name is Tsuna, If you call me 'boss', i'll get you out of the trouble you're about to be in." Tsuna said this with a sweet smile.
Hayato growled. "Like hell i'll call you boss."
"Ok, then I'll just let the guy you stole from catch you, then you'll get arrested."
They heard the footsteps of the guy coming around the corner before Hayato could respond.
"There you are brat. I'm gonna kill you and your friend for thinking you could rob me." He growled this out while his face was red in anger.
Tsuna put his hands up in denial and spoke in a very innocent voice. "Oh no sir, I don't know him, he bumped into me and we fell." Tsuna put on a pout to solidify his lie.
The guy blushed slightly. "Alright, I'll just take this kid off your hands." Hayato could see in the guys eye that he wasn't planning to leave Tsuna there. The guy took a step closer and Hayato started to panic.
Tsuna leaned close to Hayato's ears and whispered in a voice that only they could hear. "You have another chance, tell me' i'm sorry boss' and I'll help you." Tsuna got off of his back and stepped back as the guy approached them.
Hayato scowled. He wasn't going to call this little kid boss, he didn't need help. The guy was now standing directly in front of Gokudera.
"Now that I look at you closer you're a real looker, I'm sure the Estraneo famiglia will have some use for you." The guy had a certain perverse gleam in his eyes.
Hayato's eyes widened in shock. The Estraneo Famiglia was one of the worse mafia families to be caught by. They had no remorse and they experimented on children, even the children from their own family weren't safe. He was now definitely sure that the guy was going to take both of them.
"You have another chance~" Hayato heard Tsuna say in the background. He sounded cheerful but confident, like he knew Hayato would agree to his conditions.
Well he was right.
"I'm sorry boss." Hayato said in a strong voice with his head held high. Tsuna probably wouldn't be able to do anything but at least he tried to help him.
The guy laughed. "What are you talking about kid, I'm not your-"
Before he knew it, the guy was on the ground screaming in pain. Hayato didn't hear any shots but both of the guys knees had a steady flow of blood coming from a small hole on each knee.
Hayato turned towards Tsuna in shock. The small kid was holding a gun that had a silencer on it.
"I guess you'll have to do." Tsuna muttered quietly, but loud enough for Hayato to hear, and pulled out a phone. He quickly said some things in his phone too quietly for Hayato to hear then hung up.
Tsuna turned his attention to Hayato and held his hand out to him, a bright smile on his face. Hayato instantly knew that he would follow the kid that saved him anywhere. He took the hand offered to him and they both started to run.
"So, what is your name anyways." Tsuna asked as they ran through different alleys and blended into the crowd.
Hayato smiled. "Hayato, Gokudera Hayato."
Tsuna let out a small laugh. "Well then, if you have nowhere to go Hayato, you can come with me."
"Really, I can?" Hayato was skeptical because not many people wanted him around.
"Of course you can, lets just keep running for now." Tsuna said. He didn't turn to look at Hayato, only doing so when they came upon a Gate.
"Hayato, can you climb over the gate by yourself?"Tsuna already had one hand on the gate, ready to climb over.
Once Tsuna saw Hayato nod, he quickly and easily climbed over the gate. Hayato had a bit of trouble but he still got over.
Tsuna grabbed his hand again and they both ran through the trees that were seen through the gate, dodging people and traps.
"You live here Boss?" Hayato asked in surprise. The house they came upon was huge. It wasn't as big as his old home but it came as a close second.
"Call me Tsuna, and no I don't live here, I'm visiting my cousins but i'm leaving at the end of the week."
"I thought you told me to call you boss?" Hayato looked confused. 'What was all that trouble for?'
Tsuna laughed. " I just wanted to see if you would actually do it."
He then gently tugged Hayato's hand, Hayato didn't even realize they were still holding hands. "Come, lets go inside."
They both stepped into the hotel and Hayato was surprised to see that the inside of the hotel looked surprisingly comfortable.
"Oh, you're back young master. They found out you left, they're waiting for you upstairs." A guy with brown eyes and black eyes said. He looked apologetic.
Tsuna gave a sheepish smile. "It's alright Marquis, I wasn't supposed to leave anyway. I knew I'd probably get in trouble but something told me I had to go out today, and it was right."
"Your trusty intuition, is it." Marquis gave Tsuna a knowing look. It wasn't a question.
Tsuna waved bye to him and continued to drag Hayato through the house.
" I'll introduce you to my cousin and his friends, they're kind of weird but don't worry, they probably won't kill you."
"Wait.. Probably!" Hayato could feel fear creeping upon him.
"Yea, they're kind of suspicious of new people near me. Here we are! I can hear them already."
Hayato paled when he heard the crashes and shouts on the other side or the door. 'What exactly is going on in there?'
Tsuna tapped Hayato's shoulder, breaking him out of his memories of the past.. He had been spacing out for a while now and if he spaced out any longer, Tsuna would have done something to him. He shivered, remembering the time Tsuna sign him up for a rodeo because he was spaced out. He was wearing red that day too.
"Yes Tsuna-san?"
"Come, let's get this plan going. Remember what we discussed a week ago?" Tsuna said with a smirk.
Hayato returned it with his own smirk. "Of course Tsuna-san."
(Line break)
Hibaru didn't see Tsuna at school today and he was getting worried. Usually, Tsuna was there even before school started to take care of the paper work for the disciplinary club.
Hibari never asked him to do the work but Tsuna insisted that he just had to help him. It worked out for him because he had more time to patrol and less work.
He heard a knock on the door and his breath hitched, hoping it was Tsuna. Tsuna may annoy him at times but he never wished harm unto him.
The door opened to reveal Kusakabe Tetsuya, his right hand man. He quietly sighed in disappointment.
"Kyo-san, a letter came for you. Its from a Gokudera Hayato." He placed the letter on Hibari's desk.
"You are dismissed." As soon as Kusakabe walked out the door, Kyoya grabbed the letter and ripped it open.
It read;
Dear skylark,
I have the person who is most precious to you with me. Come alone to the warehouse at the edge of the town by 8:30 and you may get him back. If you bring someone or come late, you won't get him back in one piece. Come quickly, our boss would like to see you.
Signed,
Gokudera Hayato
Hibari slammed his hand on the table in anger. It was now 8:05 and it took around 30 minutes to get to the warehouse and that was with his speed!
The door opened and Tetsuya peeked in. "Kyo-San, is something wrong."
Hibari didn't answer him and instantly jumped through the window, making Tetsuya sigh.
I'm coming for you. Hibari thought as he ran towards the edge of the town.

Tsuna was laying on the couch in the warehouse, his feet resting on top the armrest. He was facing the ceiling and looking at the time on his phone.
"He's so laaate~" Tsuna complained. It was now 8:35.
"Tsuna, its only been 5 minutes and he has to get through everyone at the front." Hayato pointed out.
Tsuna turned toward Hayato, his eyes were sparkling with mischief. "But Kyoya is soooo strong so he should be here any moment to save me, he always protects me." Tsuna pulled his knees to his chest and wrapped his arms around them.
Hayato sighed in exasperation. Tsuna was usually over dramatic so it was pretty normal for him to act like that.
Wait...
Oh! That was the signal. "He can't be much of a protector if he let you get taken in the first place." Hayato scoffed. He then chuckled darkly.
"Well now that he didn't listen to my conditions and is over the time, I guess I shall begin torturing you now. Its sad, I was even lenient and gave him extra time to get here." Hayato got up from his seat and put his hand on Tsuna's shoulder while standing in front of him.
Tsuna had to hide his laughter when the door was slammed open and a furious Kyoya came charging in.
"Questo è così divertente. (This is so funny.)" Tsuna whispered to Hayato in italian.
" Lo so, ma non dare via così facilmente, hai fatto questo piano (i know, but don't give it away so easily, you made this plan.)" Hayato whispered back.
"bene bene. Ma ricordate, In amore troppo è ancora poco. (Alright alright. But remember, where love is concerned too much is not ever enough.)" Tsuna chuckled quietly. Hayato gave Tsuna a puzzled look before but turned back to pay attention to the perfect.
"Step away from my herbivore or i'll bite you to death." Kyoya growled out. He was confused for a moment because it seemed like those two were talking in a different language but seeing the silver haired herbivores hand on his omnivore made him furious.
Kyoya charged at Hayato and Hayato threw his bombs at him. It exploded but Kyoya ran straight through the cloud of smoke unscathed.
Kyoya swung his tonfas toward Hayato making him dodge to avoid getting hit. Hayato did a mid kick catching Kyoya in the side. Kyoya stumbled a little but quickly stabilized and started swiping at Hayato again.
Kyoya scowled as he made another swipe at Hayato, getting him in a hard hit on his shoulder. Hayato hissed in pain at that but continued fighting.
Hayato threw some of his smaller bombs as Kyoya got closer. They exploded in front of the perfect, leaving small wounds on Kyoya's arms as he covered his face from the explosion.
Hayato threw another kick, aiming towards Kyoya's stomach but, he was expecting that. Kyoya grabbed Hayato's leg and pushed both of them toward the ground, his tonfas pressed against Hayato's throat.
"Where is your boss herbivore?" Kyoya hissed.
Hayato chucked which made Kyoya even angrier.
"What's so funny herbivore. Tell me or I'll break every bone in your body." Kyoya sneered, pressing harder on his windpipe but still allowing enough air for him to talk. Hayato choked a bit but continued chuckling.
"In amore troppo è ancora poco. Capo che potrebbe anche morire qui. (Where love is concerned too much is not ever enough. Boss I might just die here.)" Hayato said in a calm voice filled with amusement. He knew Tsuna wouldn't let any serious harm come to him.
Hibari did not understand what the herbivore and it was making him frustrated. He knew the herbivore could speak Japanese perfectly well so, why was he speaking in that foreign language? Was it just so Hibari couldn't understand it?
Tsuna couldn't hold it in anymore and let out a laugh at Kyoya's frustrations.
"Bene bene Hayato." Tsuna said between his laughter, making Hayato roll his eyes.
Hibari was suspicious. His herbivore answered the silver haired herbivore in that strange language and used his first name. Moreover,Tsuna didn't look the least bit afraid that he was in the enemy's base. It was almost as if Tsuna was used to this place.
"Skylark you wanted to meet my boss, right?" Hayato gave a mocking grin as Hibari nodded.
"Well say hello to my boss, Tsunayoshi Sawada." He announced while pointing towards the couch where Tsuna sat. Kyoya didn't want to believe it but he has to when Tsuna spoke, confirming what the herbivore under him said.
"And say hello to my right-hand-man, Hayato Gokudera. And Kyoya can you try not to kill him, I rather love the life of my best friend." Tsuna said while standing up from his position on the couch.
"Tsunayoshi, explain what is going on?" Kyoya demanded, finally getting off of Hayato.
Hayato quickly scrambled to stand near Tsuna's side.
"It's simple, I'm the leader of the gang you've been trying to destroy."
Hibari's eyes slightly widened in shock. "How is that possible, i've never noticed."
Hayato spoke up. "Thats because I run it when he's away and he gives orders through me that everyone follows without problem because they know everything he does is for a reason.
Tsuna picked up from there. "It really is fun doing this, no one will ever suspect that I'm their boss even if they straight out told them all because none of us interact in school."
"Where did you even get the idea to start a gang." Hibari was feeling strangely impressed that Tsuna could run something like that at his age.
Tsuna chuckled at his look. "Cousin Xanxus always complains about his subordinates so i wanted to see what was so hard about having people under you. Its not easy but its satisfying."
"Omnivore you should disband this group immediately or I will bite you to death." Hibari growled after getting over his shock.
"I should but I won't. I went through too much trouble just to disband them now. I have the worst troublemakers under my control so i can't just let them loose. What I can do is compromise." Tsuna gave a smile that instantly put Hibari on guard.
"State your terms."
"Place them all in the disciplinary committee where they will have an outlet for their destructive tendencies. If you don't agree I won't help you with your paperwork anymore."
Hibari let out a small sigh in resignation. "I accept your terms."

As Tsuna and Hayato walked through the gates of Nami-chuu for their first day middle school, Tsuna smiled. The six disciplinary members at the gate bowed when they saw them.
"Welcome Tsuna-Sama, Hayato-Sama." Was said in union. Tsuna felt proud of the former members of his gang. Yes they were all sad to have the gang disbanded but being in the disciplinary committee was pretty much the same as being in the gang, they stopped those that caused trouble to the weak.
"Rise everyone, its good to be here." They all rose at his words and smiled.
"Now that I'm finally in middle school, i'll be helping out more with the disciplinary committee so it will be like old times. To all our former members, make sure you spread the word that Tsunayoshi Sawada is back and we'll be hunting all troublemakers." Tsuna eyes glinted orange and he gave a grin that sent shivers down their spine.
"Hai, Boss." They all said. Two of them left to spread the word.
Hayato who was standing next to Tsuna during the short speech just rolled his eyes and sighed in exasperation. They had a long and troublesome middle school life ahead of them.
Hibari, who was by the wall the entire time just groaned and covered his face with his hands. Sometimes he feels like Tsuna planned this, The new disciplinary members being under Tsuna's control would mean Tsuna being there with Hibari even more because he was sure they wouldn't listen to his orders anymore. But Tsuna couldn't have planned all this
Right?
