A/N: Hey guys! Sorry about the long wait; I wasn't able to find time to finish the entire chapter. I'm trying to write 3000+ so it's kind of difficult. I am trying to update faster though.

Accidental Kisses

Chapter 2

"My breath hitches and I swallow heavily, but as much as I want to look away, I can't."

Percy's POV

I turn up the radio as I drive, and as you've probably guessed, I don't give a crap about Mr. Walter's after school clean-up.

Seriously, the dude needs to think of better punishments.

I focus on the road in front of me, forgetting about school and all the other shit that gets strung along with it.

As soon as I reach home, I walk straight up to my room, throwing my backpack near my table and lying face-down on the bed.

"Percy?" I hear my mom's voice from downstairs.

"Yeah?" I yell in reply.

"Can you help me with the groceries?" I groan into my pillow, waiting for a few seconds before getting up again.

"Okay, I'm coming." I trudge down the stairs again and outside to the car to help take out the groceries. There are more than ten bags sitting in the trunk.

"Wow, mom, how many things do you need?" I ask incredulously, wincing as she hits the back of my head lightly.

"That's how much I need for your appetite." She says, shaking her head with a smile on her face. I grin and carry three bags in each hand, following my mom into the house again. Looking to the side, I see Annabeth looking at me, and I smirk.

Her inquisitive look soon turns into a glare, and my smirk widens.

I never cease to impress myself on how fast I can annoy her.

"Thank you, honey." My mom gives me a small kiss on the cheek and goes back into the kitchen to put the groceries away. Smiling, I walk back into my room and take my laptop. I sit on the bed and put it on my lap.

While I wait for it to load, something catches my eye outside the window. I see Annabeth grumbling to herself and a grin unconsciously appears on my face. She looks fairly annoyed, which doesn't surprise me. She throws her backpack down and takes off her jacket.

She then walks up to the closet and gets some comfortable clothes, throwing those on the bed and slowly taking off her shirt.

My breath hitches and I swallow heavily, but as much as I want to look away, I can't. She's only in her undershirt now, one which shows off her curves and her flat stomach. I've never taken time to look at her closely, but even I can't argue that she isn't gorgeous.

She has natural beauty, unlike most of the girls from school.

I snap out of my thoughts when she looks up, and her eyes seem to pierce mine. I realize she's only in her bra and small boy shorts, and of course, it looks like she realizes this too. Her eyes, which were widened in shock, soon narrow at me. I can see her flush with a mix of anger and embarrassment, while she flips me off and closes the curtain in one, fast movement.

I can't help chuckling, although I know I'm in deep shit next time I see her.

Seeing that my computer has loaded, I try to get her out of my mind for the time being. However, the fates are not on my side today.

I hear the doorbell ring, followed by the voice of my mom and the visitor. I know that voice….

"Percy?" My mom yells, "Annabeth is here to work on the project. I'm sending her up."

I instantly got out of bed, but was unfortunately too late. Annabeth appeared at the door, giving one last smile to my mom and then coming inside my room and glaring daggers at me.

"You idiot!" she cries.

I cringe slightly at her statement.

"You know how rude it is to watch someone while they're changing? I thought you had at least a few manners! You do that again and I will make you pay, you asshat!" She repeatedly slaps my chest to emphasize her point, and I would like to say it doesn't hurt, but she has one good right hand.

I grab both her wrists and hold them down to my chest, watching her attempt to pull free.

Chuckling, I lean down and get closer to her, so my lips are hovering next to her ear. Her struggling slowly comes to a stop and I can hear her deep breathing.

"If you want to touch my chest so badly, you just need to ask, babe." I pull away, my chuckles turning into full-blown laughter. Her eyes go from shock to anger and she gives me an icy glare.

"You are an ass." She says, walking to the door. "And one more thing, sweetheart." She gives me a sickly sweet smile.

"I'm pretty good at revenge." She says with a smirk, and with that, she walks out. I stare at her retreating figure, shaking my head.

I don't know whether I should be worried or relaxed.

~o-O-o~

I wait for the last bell to ring, signaling the time for me to walk to my Ancient Greek class. I sit down in my seat and tap my fingers on the desk aimlessly, watching as Mr. Brunner shakes his head with a hint of amusement in his eyes.

The guy barely gets angry.

I hear a the sound of a backpack dropping next to me and look to my side to see Annabeth sitting down, getting her things out. I smirk and watch her, strangely attracted to the way her hair falls on her face as she bends to her side to get her things. Hell, I even notice the sliver of skin shown at her hip as her shirt rides up.

However, I realize I have to practice staring discreetly, because I get caught in the act.

Like always, a brilliant blush crosses her cheeks, but then a scowl comes on face. Before she can say anything, Mr. Brunner looks at both of us and gestures to the door.

"Annabeth, Percy, can you both take that chair to Ms. Smith's room?" He points to a computer chair right next to our table. Annabeth narrows her eyes at me but nods at Mr. Brunner. I take the chair as she opens the door to the hallway. I groan aloud at how long it will take us to get the Ms. Smith's classroom.

"Tired already, Jackson?" Annabeth says, a smirk on her face. I roll my eyes in response.

"I was thinking about how I have to walk all the way to the other side of the school," I say. "With you." I add, smirking. The smirk falls off her face and she grumbled beneath her breath before shooting me an icy glare.

I just chuckle as she walks ahead of me and we walk in silence to Ms. Smith's class. When we get there, her assistant tells us to wait for her to call Ms. Smith so she knows what to do with the chair.

Meanwhile, I set the chair down, leaning on the wall next to it. I see an almost evil smile on Annabeth's face, but it disappears almost as fast as it comes.

"Hey, you know, you still didn't tell me why you can't stop staring." She says in a sultry whisper, making my eyes widen. I swallow and try to come up with an explanation.

"Um, well, you know, I was just-" I falter as her hand comes up to my chest, pushing me slowly against the wall and walking towards me.

"You were just?" She whispers, her lips close to mine, her hand slowly moving up my chest, behind me neck, and then slowly into my hair. I let out a soft groan at the way her hand massages my scalp, and she presses her body against mine.

It is then that all logical thoughts in my head disappear. I can feel my fists clenched at my side, my breathing coming in short pants, and the heat of her body against mine raiding my body.

One thing comes to my mind, what the hell is happening?

My mind faintly registers footsteps coming toward us and Annabeth moves hers lips to my ear.

"I told you I'm good at revenge." She murmurs, pulling back just in time to give Ms. Smith the chair.

Ms. Smith gives me a worried look. "Are you feeling okay, Mr. Jackson?"

"Yeah, I'm fine." I grumble under my breath, trying to stop myself from glaring at Annabeth.

Annabeth just winks at me over her shoulder and starts back to class, leaving me in the hallway looking thoroughly spent.

Shaking my head, I realize two things.

One, Annabeth just seduced me in the hallway for revenge, which did work, let me tell you.

Two, I liked it.

~o-O-o~

As soon as I walk back into the class, I see Annabeth smirking, although her face is directed towards her paper. I grumble to myself; throwing myself in the seat next to her. I glare at my paper when I see Annabeth trying to stifle her laughter.

Right after the bell rings, Annabeth walks up to me, a grin still plastered on her face.

"Well, nice to see you again." She says, smirking. "You know, I was starting to wonder why you were out so long...unfinished business?" Her smirk widens, if that's possible.

I growl and push her against the locker, my hands on either side of her face. I can see her eyes widen as she bites her lip making my eyes dip down to her full lips and then back up. I hear her labored breathing and press against her like she did to me earlier.

Her breath hitches, making the corners of my mouth twitch. I lean in so my mouth is right next to her ear.

"You know what?" I whisper. "I think that whole scene in the morning was just a way to get a chance to be closer to me." I say pulling back just to press my lips to the back of her ear. She gasps and pushes me off, her eyes still wide, but an accusatory look directed at me.

"You wish, dipshit." She says, completely shoving me off her.

I already miss the warmth of her body, but decide it has nothing to do with her but more because of the weather outside.

I stare unabashedly as she struts down the hallway, chuckling to myself.

~o-O-o~

As soon as I get home, I race upstairs into my room only to see my phone, which I left at home, blinking.

I read through the messages, most of them saying the same things.

Beckendorf: Yo Perce! You comin' to Mason's party?

I shake my head and sigh, writing back a quick reply.

Percy: Sure, I guess...see you there at 6?

His reply is sent back in less than two minutes.

Beckendorf: No problem, man. I'm looking for a hook-up with the senior chick.

I chuckle at his reply. He's been after a senior named Silena Bueareguard for weeks, which is the longest time he's ever hunted down a chick. But most of us know why; she is the single-most sexy girl in the entire school. Nice, too. Not like those skanky stereotype cheerleaders.

Percy: Good luck with that, man. I'm not gonna stay for long; I have swimming tryouts tomorrow.

Beckendorf: K, man. Whatever you say. See you later.

I roll my eyes but go out of the chat. I scroll down to see an unfamiliar number

[Unknown Name]: Hey, can we work on the project today? I'm busy for the next few days.

I immediately figure out it is Annabeth, and send a quick reply.

Percy: That sucks for you, WiseGirl. I'm going to Mason's party...we can meet up after?

Annabeth: Are you fucking serious? Ugh, you free after?

Percy: Yeah, I think so. I have to get rest though; swimming tryouts tomorrow. You should come; I know you love seeing me shirtless.

Annabeth: In you dreams, Seaweed Brain. My friends are pestering me to go to the part anyway; I'll be back by 9. You better get your ass to my house before 11.

Percy: Are you sure you don't want more than my ass? I know I have a pretty fine ass, but still. ;)

Annabeth: You get the point, you douche. And just so you know, I've seen better ass.

Percy: Have you now? Make sure to show me at the party.

Annabeth doesn't reply, and I chuckle knowing she is probably irritated right now.

Laughing, I put on my jacket and head to my car. I look over at her house to see if she's there, but I am oddly disappointed that she isn't.

~o-O-o~

As soon as I reach the party, I see Jake, Grover, Leo, Jason, and Nico drinking the punch, which is probably spiked already.

"Hey man!" Jason says, clapping my back. "I wonder how Beckendorf is doing." He gestures with his cup at Beckendorf, who's currently sweet talking Silena at the other end of the room. I chuckle along with Jason.

"He's whipped." Leo snickers, making me chuckle harder.

"I know right." I agree, smirking. "What an asshat." I say, shaking my head.

I see Jason waving at another girl from the corner of my eyes, and turn around to see a pretty brunette, with mesmerizing eyes, but the girl next to her catches my eye.

Annabeth is standing next to the brunette, looking more gorgeous than I thought possible. She was wearing a simple, grey, cocktail dress, with her hair in curls that frame her face.

"That blonde is one sexy bitch." I turn my head sharply to see Luke walking up beside me, smirking.

"Shut your trap, asshole." I mutter, glaring at him. Luke's eyes widen as he feigns shock.

"Percy Jackson interested in a girl?" He says, shaking his head and chuckling. I resist the urge to punch the bastard.

"I still respect them more than you." I say, watching as the smirk falls off his face.

Luke and I have a ... history, you could say. I remember Rachel, the first girl I actually liked. We went out for three months and then Luke tricked us. He set it up so I looked like I was cheating and then went to get the rebound.

Well, basically. There's a lot more to it I haven't told anyone.

However, no matter what, I haven't trusted him since.

I feel a hand on my back, turning around to see Nico, who's warning me with his eyes. He's the only guy that knows about the whole 'Rachel' thing, and I plan on keeping it that way.

I sigh and follow him back to our table, watching helplessly as Luke approaches Annabeth. I don't realize I'm glaring at the ground until Grover taps my back.

"You okay, Perce?" I smiled at Grover, the only nice guy in our group. He had a girlfriend, and although we teased him about it, he loved her. I shrugged.

"Yeah, I'm fine." I lied. "I'm going to go outside for a smoke." I say, getting a cigarette from Jake and then briskly walking to the backyard door and sitting on the stone fountain. I take a drag and look down at the fountain, the moon reflecting onto the water. It somehow reminds me of my father, which isn't exactly a fond memory of mine.

"I didn't think you'd be out here." I look up and see Annabeth, whose eyes are looking at me curiously. I let my guards go back up and make a cocky smile appear on my face.

Annabeth frowns; looking past my facade, her eyes boring into mine. I look away, giving her the clear signal that I don't want to talk about it.

"So, what are you doing here? Miss me?" I ask, looking up at her again with a grin.

"You wish." She says, rolling her eyes, though I can see the sides of her mouth twitch. "It's too loud in there; and both of my friends ditched me anyway."

"Oh yeah, Beck was saying he was going after Silena today." I say, chuckling.

She snorts. "I figured."

"And I'm guessing Jason went for your other friend." I said. She laughs.

"That's pretty much it. Jason was ogling her for five minutes so I told her to go dance with him." She shakes her head, a smile still playing on her lips. "Jason's not that bad."

I laugh. "I guess I can agree with that."

As my laughter subsides, I look up to see her grey eyes piercing mine.

I take a deep breath. "What did Luke want from you?" I ask, eyeing her carefully.

She sighs. "He just asked me for a dance. He's really nice." I look down again.

"Well, he may seem nice, but he's a moron." I say harshly. Annabeth glares at me.

"He has more manners than you." She scoffs.

"You don't know him like I do, WiseGirl, and if you did, you would hate him as much as I do." I snap, my fists clenched and my eyes narrowed at her.

She gets up and glares. "Just when I thought you were better - you accuse him! For nothing!" She says, angrily.

I stand up and face her, my entire posture tense with anger. I can see a little fear in her eyes, but am too angry to care.

"Listen, smart-ass, you may think you know everything, but you don't." I let out a humorless laugh. "In fact, go spend time with that son of a bitch right now! I could care less if he hurts you. Hell, you probably deserve it!" I shout, watching as a single tear makes its way down her face.

She gives me dry smile, a hollow look in her eyes. "I knew you were bad, but you just crossed the line." She says hoarsely, running back into the house before I can say anything. I groan and put my head in my hands.

Normally, I wouldn't care, but now I can't help thinking; what have I done?

Things just got serious...

Anyway, I know the story is moving kind of fast, but this is going to be a shorter story. Probably 20 chapters or so.

Thanks for reading; please review!
