Alright, first chapter…here we go :)

Christopher made it into the classroom with seven minutes to spare. Most of his classmates were already in the room, talking or lounging, and he greeted them as he passed, heading to his seat, but next to him was a girl he didn't recognize. Her skin was dark, a somewhat light brown, and her eyes were a darker shade. Her dark brown hair fell a little past her shoulders and she had a blue bow tied- although messily and partially undone, it was tied- on the side of her hair closest to him. She was engrossed in a book, her eyes scanning the page quickly and, either stubbornly or she just didn't notice him, she never acknowledged his presence. She wore the same uniform as the other girls, a dark navy skirt and a light blue blouse with a tie, but she looked so much more different in it, although Christopher couldn't place why. Then, the school bell rang, and students rushed to their seats as their teacher walked in, but the girl never looked up from her book. Their teacher, a young blonde woman named Ms. Ash, scanned the room with her eyes before stopping on the girl next to Christopher.

"Annaliese?" Ms. Ash called and the girl looked up. Many students went back to talking as the teacher beckoned the girl over and talked to her. Christopher leaned forward, trying to hear what they were saying. He sat in the back, the next desk from the corner desk where the girl- Annaliese- sat, so it was no easy feat. One of the boys nudged him lightly.

"Interested in the new girl, Christopher?"

"What?" The group of boys around him chuckled at his slightly blushing face.

"Oh, shut up." He groaned, turning away. He completely spaced out until the class was over, scrambling to pick up his books as the bell rang and signaled the end of their first class. He was about to leave when he heard his name be called.

"Christopher Robin!" He chuckled at the name. Nobody really added the Robin except for close family members, and, as much as he would hate to admit it; Ms. Ash was a really close family friend. He turned back around and walked over to where she and Annaliese were standing.

"Yes, Ms. Ash?"

"This is Annaliese, she's from America. Your schedules are exactly alike, so I was wondering if you would show her around."

"Uh, sure." Christopher perked up smiling at Annaliese and extending his hand.

"I'm Christopher." He introduced himself. She took his hand with a little hesitance.

"A-Annaliese, but c-call me Anna." She stuttered, not really meeting his eyes. He smiled at her accent. Other students began to file in the class.

"I guess I've held you two too long, let me write you a pass to your next class." She scribbled down their names on a green piece of paper and handed it to Christopher.

"Go on, now." Ms. Ash sent them off. Christopher and Anna walked out.

"So, how do you like London so far?"

"I love it. It's beautiful." She spoke quietly, almost unintelligible.

"That's good." He said. She took his hand suddenly.

"What's wrong?" Christopher questioned, until he saw a group of girls walk by waving at him. One of them stopped.

"What are you doing with her?" the other two noticed Anna.

"Isn't she that reject from America?"

"Hey!" Christopher exclaimed.

"She's really nice, and you have no authority to call her a reject. Just leave her alone, ok?" Christopher continued to pull her through the halls until they got to a classroom bigger than the last with a male teacher with glasses.

"Ah, Christopher, decided to grace us with your presence did you?" Christopher only rolled his eyes and handed him the pass before walking to his seat.

"Annaliese…where did I hear that name- Oh, yes! You're the new student right?" Anna was hesitant to talk, because of her accent, but she answered.

"Y-yes and I prefer Anna."

"Alright. Class, this is Anna. She's from America. Please help her to feel welcome. Why don't you sit at the far table?" He sent her over to the table in the back and she sat across from Christopher. He smiled at her and he smiled back.

"Now, let's continue our science lesson…"

School was almost over and Christopher was practically beating himself up. Why did he do it? He didn't know. Did he actually mean to ask her? He didn't know. Did she want to as much as he wanted her to? He didn't know. Then, the bell rang and Anna walked up to him.

"A-are you ready?" She asked, and he nodded before leading her out of the school building and down the pathways to the rail.

'Why did I invite her over?'

So, how was it? Good? Bad? Review and let me know pls.
