This chapter is short and kinda sappy. sorry. Break-through beautiful, real band. from denver

"So is Liz your real name?" Grover asked as we rode the elevator in the Empire State Building.

"No. No. No." I replied. " Its really long"

"How long? What is it?"

I sighed.

"Tzipporah Liya Elizabeth Rachav Baker" I said. "My dad is Jewish, so, a Jew name I got. I took my nickname from my third middle name."

"What does your name even mean?"

"Tzipporah means little bird/ beauty and Liya means God's daughter. Elizabeth and Rachav, I'm not so sure" I looked at Nico, who stood silently and angrily in the corner of the elevator, which stopped after what seemed an hour, but probably wasn't. Grover stepped off and I turned to Nico.

"Hey are you okay?"

"Yeah, I'm fine." He huffed.

"You know, a person who lies looks to the left? Now look at me in the eyes and tell me you're fine" He sighed.

"I will be fine, how about that?"

"Better" I smiled and a small, crooked smile passed his face briefly.

"Let's go meet your mom." He stuck out his elbow and I held it as we walked through Olympus.

XxXxXx Nico POV (tester)

Liz couldn't be more nervous. Her hand shook on my arm.

We passed a few gods lounging around, mostly minor and walked by Aphrodite sitting on one of those weird lounge beds. At first glance, she looked kind of familiar, dark brown hair freshly unbraided, honey colored eyes and tan skin. Then I whipped around and looked at her again.

No, I WASN'T seeing things. She looked like Liz. They're faces were the structurally the same and they're lips were both full and rose colored. Not to mention the hair, eyes and skin color.

But, that was new. Last time I saw her, she was blond, fair and blue eyed.

"Are you okay?" Liz asked. Aphrodite smirked.

"Yeah. Just, my eyes were playing a trick on me" I lied. Thankfully she didn't look at my eyes 'til afterwards.

"Okay." She skeptically replied.

We reached the Garden of the Muses and Liz looked like she was going to throw up.

"Don't make me do this. Turn me around and take me home. What if she doesn't want me? What if she hates me? What am I going to do?" She was almost crying.
" Look at me Liz." She bored her eyes into mine. "If she didn't want you, we wouldn't be here. Calliope sent Grover to find you."

"Promise?"

"I swear"

We waited beneath a tree for Calliope, and my phone vibrated. It made me nervous to have a phone, so when I got a text or call, it was like announcing my presence to monsters. But my dad and Chiron insisted.

Hey. Percy. Only he would text me.

I gotta question. Why does Aphrodite change form?

Answer you tomorrow.

DAMMIT! It was eating away at me.

But then Calliope walked through the branches.

XxXxXx Liz POV

She was beautiful. Gorgeous. She had dark brown hair that fell to her hips and skin the color of vanilla. Her eyes were like honey. Liquid honey. Her lips were the color of pink candy and she was like looking at a goddess.

Oh, wait, it was looking at a goddess.

Calliope opened her mouth but only tears came. I ran to her.

I never ran to my dad. Or Janelle( that was unfathomable anyway).

But I ran. I flung my arms around her and sobbed.

She stroked my hair.

"Oh, mom." that felt right.

"Hi, Tzipporah." Her voice was better than any other artist there ever was.

"Liz. She goes by Liz." Nico said softly, smiling that crooked smile again. What the hell did that mean?

Boys. Enough said.

"Yeah? Well hello, Liz." She smiled through tears. "I hope you intend to stay for supper, Liz."

"You eat dinner?"

"Not technically. But we will if you want to."

That sounded great.

As if on cue food appeared.

"Lasagna!" I cried. Nico and Grover burst out laughing. My mom smiled. Music began playing. My favorite band: Break-through Beautiful.

"How did you know?"

"Your mom is your friend in a high place." Nico said before taking a bite of lasagna. I smiled.

I couldn't have imagined life more perfect then. For once, I wasn't scared or sad. I had a mom who was as close to perfect as I could get. I had two new friends who actually understood me.

But then I woke up. The bed was perfect and the room was beautiful, but I had a text.
