Knock, knock. Ria stopped packing to open the door.
"Hay Ria," Eli said as he walked into her apartment.
"Hay Eli, give me a sec and I'll be ready to go," she said making sure she stuffed everything into her duffle bag.
"Okay cool," he said.
"How long will it take to get there?" Ria asked as she locked up her apartment.
They walked down to the car and put their stuff in the backseat of his truck, and got in. "Well my family lives in Northport Michigan, so about 14 hours."
"Great. Alone. With you. In a car. For 14 hours, now that's going to be interesting." She said with a hint of sarcasm.
"Yep lots of fun." He teased with a smile.
"So what's your brother's name?" She asked trying to make conversation.
"My brother's name is Gavin and his fiancés name is Abigail, we all call her Abby." He explained.
Ria put in her head phones and let her head fall back against the seat. Soon she was asleep.
A few hours later Ria woke up. "Hay sleepy head." Eli said, over some really bad country music.
"How long have I been asleep?" She asked, pulling out her head phones.
"About four hours I think." He answered.
About two hours later Ria took over driving.
"Hay Eli, where do you want to stop to eat?" She asked, waking him up.
"What." He said groggily. "Oh, um… McDonalds okay with you?" He asked, rubbing his eyes.
"Yah that's fine." She pulled into the McDonalds drive-thru.
Eli went back to sleep after he finished eating.
He Snores! Ria thought to herself as a giggle escaped. She was going to have to tease him about this later.
"Hay it's my turn to drive." Eli said four and a half hours later.
"Um….. No you drive like a nut." She said with a smirk.
He mocked a hurt expression and put a hand on a hand on his chest. "Wow, Torres you sure know how to hit below the belt." He said.
"Oh, shut it Loker." She said as she playfully punched on the shoulder.
"We will be there in a few hours and its kind of tricky to get to the house." He explained.
"Okay, fine." She pulled into a rest stop and got out of the car.
A few hours later they pulled into the drive way of a big white house.
