"I-Ivan!" Gil cried out, sobbing hard as he laid on the snow that was stained scarlet with his own blood. "I-Ivan! Please s-save me!"

Russia was making hot chocolate for the both of them currently, sure he had wondered where the albino had gone some two hours ago, but really didn't give it much thought. He thought he had heard screaming though and now, was that Prussia's voice? Russia stopped what he was doing and ran outside before gasping softly.

He saw his lover bleeding badly and crying, which caused him to run over and pick him up carefully. Gil opened up his eyelids, revealing one was now an empty socket and whimpered.

"O-Ow... I-It h-h-hurts..." He stuttered shakily, weakly clinging onto Russia.

The blonde kissed him gently and snuggled him closer before taking off his own jacket and using it as a blanket for Prussia. "What hurts?" He then questioned.

"...Everything..." Prussia responded sadly. He hated being this hurt

In front of him, he had heard Russia's crying at night because of what Winter's done to him.

"Shhh, it's alright now. Please rest, my little snow bunny," Russia cooed as he carried him inside and set him down on the couch.

"A-Alright..." Gilbert mumbled before falling asleep, having a very fitful rest.

Meanwhile Russia's blood was boiling with rage over what General Winter had done to him. Of course he did this often, but never before had he done something as drastic as ripping one of the albinos eyes out. Those beautiful ruby eyes that Ivan had loved to stare at, watching as they filled with wonder, happiness, and his favorite, love. Oh, Russia was going to make him pay dearly for what he's done.

The blonde moved and sat down on the couch next to Prussia and softly stroked his hair, singing a gentle Russian lullaby to his lover. Once the albino was sleeping happily he kissed his forehead again as he continued holding his hand. He was too wrapped up to even notice his foe watching him from the doorway.
