Epilogue
Set after the first chapter of "Quickening" by ebineez01. Jon runs into the nameless woman again.
"Jon?"
He looked up and smiled when he recognized her.
"Hey!"
"You look great! You're practically glowing...got a promotion?"
He chuckled.
"It's a little early for that."
"So what is it then?"
When he just smiled her jaw dropped.
"Oh my God. It's the mysterious woman! Did she finally solve her issues with that other guy?"
He blushed just the slightest bit and his eyes dropped to the ground for a moment. Then he looked back up at her with a sweet smile, and there was something like wonder in his voice when he said:
"Yes. She did."
