Author's Note: Sorry that I didn't put this in before, but this is my first Fanfiction. If you have any comments or you think I should add something or other, then please review. Also if the words are italicized then it means that it is in their mind A.K.A. their thoughts.
Disclaimer: I don't know if this is necessary but I will only say this once: I do not own Calvin and Hobbes or Harry Potter.
Calvin walked behind his mom with Hobbes quietly walking behind him. Calvin quietly wondered what his punishment would be.
I wonder what it will be. Will it be no desserts for a week? No television? Extra homework? Wait no that would only be for school.
Calvin suddenly noticed that his mom was talking to him.
"… Calvin, you know how you have your uncle Max?"
Calvin paused, "…yeah…"
" Well, I have a sister. Two actually. But anyway, one of my sisters is a witch."
Calvin stopped. He turned to Hobbes. He turned back to his mom.
"So she was really ugly, had a long nose with warts, and flew on a broom?" Calvin asked.
"No." His mom sighed. "I don't really know all the specifics, but my sister Lily died. Her husband also died so their infant son was sent to my other sister Petunia. I never talked to her because she was always mean to me as a child, and she had her own son who was always fighting and would probably hurt you so I never talked to them. However I didn't know that Harry, your cousin, was also living there. But anyway, Harry has just been accepted to the wizardry school Hogwarts. You know what, I think that someone else should be telling you this because I'm a muggle." She started walking again.
" A what?" Calvin asked confused.
His mom explained, " A muggle is someone who has no magical heritage and can't use magic."
Calvin started walking again. He walked in with Hobbes and his mom and was greeted by an older woman who had a robe on and a pointy hat as well as a wand.
"Good morning Calvin, good morning Hobbes," the woman said, "I am Professor McGonagall, and I am here to give you this letter of acceptance to Hogwarts."
