Fairy Tale: Getting Free and Small Favors

Misty Waterflower woke up the next morning much earlier than her sisters, the sun was minutes away from rising.

The teen got out of bed and scurried to get dressed. It was a great thing it was in the middle if summer, so she didn't have to worry about it being cold outside. The red head picked out a pair of black skinny jeans, a white tank top and pink high top sneakers. She had her hair out and it was well passed her shoulders, cascading down in loose waves. The petite princess who stood at five three checked her self over in the mirror. She was sure that she would be able to fit in, due to the casual clothing.

She was as quiet as she could be as to not alarm the maids and everyone else in the large castle as she made her way down the large hallway. She padded quietly passed what would be her sisters bedrooms. She knew they would be sad and nervous that she was missing when they woke up and realized she was not there but she needed to do this. She decided she wanted out, she was ready to explore. But, she wanted to be alone and incognito and with out her usual guards accompanying her. Misty had a pink sling drappes on her shoulder with the pokemon of choice inside.

Misty descended down the spiral staircase. The maids were already in the kitchen making breakfast for the girls. So no one would be there to intercept her, other than the gaurds but she had a plan for that.

Just ahead of her was the door, she ordered a 'sing' attack and successfully made the gaurds fall asleep so she could slip out withno other problems.

Getting past the mote and slipping out of the gate was easy. She thought to herself, time to finally have some fun. Hopefully no one will recognize me.

Bright sunshine seeped through the second story bedroom. The light filtered in and the sleeping man's eyes were just in the line of fire to have the bright beems wake him from his sound slumber.

The raven haired Master sat up in his bed and stretched his arms and noticed his trusty starter was still asleep. Lucky, I wish I was.

Nonetheless, he got out of bed and went to his dark oak dresser and grabbed some clean clothes for the day. Seeing as he only slept in boxers, he wanted to be fully clothed before walking down stairs to eat breakfast his mother, no doubt was cooking.

He settled on dark blue jeans, a black t-shirt that fit his muscley torso just right. On top of that he wore a short sleeve blue and white collared jacket with black, red and blue high tops.

He turned the knob of the door and decided to let pikachu sleep in for a little while longer.

"Hey honey. There's some eggs, toast, waffles, pancakes and bacon for breakfast",Delia cheerily called out to her son once she heard the 'creak' of the final step alerting her that Ash was awake and downstairs.

With a sweat drop he looked at his plate. Yeah he was always hungry but, his mother always made too much sometimes.

"Looks good mom. After I'm done, I'll grab pikachu and head off to the lab to see what it was that the Professor needed",Ash said as he waisted no time digging in to the pile of food.

"I hope you don't have to go too far. You just got home from being away and I just miss you",Delia stated as she sipped her coffee.

Ash looked up at his mom and smiled warmly,"It's probably local or atleast not too far, not to worry mom."

Once he was finished eating he went up to his room and woke pikachu up. He grabbed his black and red fingerless gloves and red cap. He told his mother 'goodbye' as he went to the Lab.

Misty called out azurill so she could have some company on her expedition.

"Wow, azurill, look it's the Cerulean Cape. It's beautiful, I've always wanted to come here but couldn't because everyone is way to over protective."

Azurill looked at her trainer in sympathy, the pokemon felt bad for Misty.

"Come on, let's get out of here though. Unfortunately, everyone's going to realize I'm missing so we've got to get out of Cerulean atleast. Maybe we can blend more in other places."

Misty reluctantly walked away from the the railing over looking the famous date spot area. She always wanted to, one day be there with someone special, who knows it could still happen. She broke out into a jog, she wanted to go beyond the Cerulean City boundaries.

As she crossed the boundaries of Cerulean is when the Castle was in an uproar. The maides rushed in and told her sisters that Misty was not in the castle.

"Oh my, ladies, I-I don't know how she could have slipped out-"

The distraught maid was cut short as Daisy, Misty's oldest sister calmly interrupted her,"Agatha, please I wouldn't worry about Misty, she'll like be fine. I like totally have confidence in her. I know for like a fact she totally like wanted freedom from this place."

"Yeah like Agatha, I have confidence too",Violet added with a smile as Lily added,"Like totally, she's tough and she could handle it. Just let her be."

Their longtime maid, Agatha still looked distraught,"But, she's a gym leader yes but, first and foremost she is a Princess, what if someone recognizes her and she isn't careful and something terrible falls upon her?"

Daisy simply said,"Don't soumd the alarms because if you do, then people will know she's unattended. So like just tell the staff and please like Agatha, don't like worry okay?"

With that Agatha bowed to the girls and scurried off to inform everyone else.

Misty's sister's were a little worries but, they had confidence that their baby sister will be fine.

*KNOCK KNOCK*

Ash Ketchum knocked on the labs doors. He only had to wait a minute until the elderly man finally answered.

"Ah Ash my boy, do come in"

"Thanks Professor, I'm not too early I hope?"

"Not at all, Ash"

Both men stepped into the lab

"Now Ash I want you to go to Cerulean City and deliver this pokemon to the Gym Leader there. I was asked to have it delivered from one of the maids. She's a water type specialist and I called and was told she would be the best person to train this pokemon-"

"Woah maid?"

Ash interrupted as he was confused.

"Ah yes, you see the Gym leader is also a Princess and this Pokemon is a bit, unruly I was puzzled as to what to do with it. So I patched a phone call through and the maid said a few days ago that their Gym leader would know what to do as water types are her specialty. I'm not going to ask you to train it because you have other things to do but, I would appreciate it if you would do this for me please."

Ash looked at the professor as he placed the pokeball in his gloved hand,"Professor, of course I'll do it but can't this girl have someone do it for her or better yet is she that stuck up that she can't do it herself?"

Ash was a little peeved because his impression on her wasn't a good one to start with.

"Too risky to let her Ash, but thank you. You best be going."

With that Ash headed out to his destination, Cerulean City.
