Danny had his arms crossed, a stern look on his face. He had just gotten back from signing a peace treaty with the Ghost Zones leaders, only to be asked to save a DIFFERENT DIMENSION by Clockwork when he got back. He couldn't even save his family, HOW was he expected to save a WHOLE FRIKKIN DIMENSION!
As if Clockwork could read his thoughts (Danny still thought he could), he told Danny that it wasn't his fault.
Wrong thing to say.
"But it WAS my fault. If I didn't cheat my friends and family wouldn't be six feet under!" He stomped his feet, as if to make a point of were they are." NO ONE would have died, there WOULDN'T have been a explosion, and it WOULDN'T HAVE ENDED THAT WAY!" He finished his rant screaming, almost using his ghostly wail in the process. That way had, obviously, referred to Dark Dan. All the walls Danny had built to keep his emotions a bay weren't strong enough.
Danny Phantom, the defeater of the king of the dead, warrior of the ghost-zone, and Knight of Aragon broke down into a heap of sobs and flowing tears at the feet of the ghost of time.
Clockwork sighed, bending down to face the sobbing boy. He didn't want to show Danny this but he knew he would have to in order for him to win this argument.
"Danny, follow me." Clockwork stode, and headed for the main section of his lair, the time room. Danny had followed him, shoulders slumped, head hanging in defeat as if Atlas had dropped the world onto his shoulders. In Danny's case TWO dimension's world's.
Danny had a feeling that Clockwork was going to hit him with a low blow, he just hoped it wasn't TOO low.
Trust me, it was low.
Clockwork gestured to the looking glass where a picture of a family was. There was a mother holding a baby, with her husband's arms wrapped around her waist, both smiling down at the little bundle. Their curious daughter looking at the baby who had its tiny had wrapped around her pointer finger. A perfect family.
"This was two days before the entire human population dies, Daniel. The mother an father are both 28, the daughter is 9, and the baby is a new born. Can you honestly sit by and watch this happen, Danny. Can you watch another family die, even if it is not yours?
Danny was having hard time breathing, all that Clockwork had said ALONG with the fact that he couldn't stop staring at the family hit him hard. He fell to his knees, eyes never leaving the looking glass.
"Why would you show me this?" It was barely above a whisper yet it was loud enough for Clockwork to hear it.
"Because, Daniel, this DIMENSION needs you, this FAMILY needs you, they need a hero, and that hero is you, Danny Phantom."
The end is alittle cheesy all admit.
OKAY, QUESTION TIME!
Should I make a new city OR have him be the protector of Bludhaven since their will be no nightwing.
Even though I love nightwing.
