Ice Queen on the verge of melting?
It is no secret that Adelaide's Winter Queen has a tendency to hold those around her at arm's length. If anyone was to be considered an expert at hiding their true thoughts and feelings, it would be the elegant and supremely dignified Jane Marple.
So our correspondant was more than surprised to find her in the company of West King Judex, at his home, apparently comforting him, and she appeared herself to be upset. Considering that their relationship until now has been described as 'tense but civil', this seems rather out of character, especially for someone who is normally so emotionally detached.
Could the ice-bound heart of Miss Marple be melting? Is it possible that the borish Judex is falling for her charms? We'll be watching for signs of romance between these two very closely.
