"Cissy! Luci! I got my Hogwarts Letter!" I screech happily as I run through Malfoy Manor holding an envelope that was addressed to me. As I run into the kitchen I collide into someone. I spot the platinum blonde hair of my best friend and I hug him tightly.
"I got my Hogwarts Acceptance Letter!" I pant in a sing-song voice, I wave the envelope in front of my best friend's face.
"I got mine too!" Draco Malfoy boasts, he puffs his chest out proudly and I snort. Draco starts jumping around holding his Hogwarts letter above his head and singing the Hogwarts school song. He jumps around the kitchen table while still singing at the top of his lungs and waving his letter around like a lunatic.
"Hogwarts, Hogwarts! Hoggy Warty Hogwarts! Teach us something please! Whether we be old and bold or young with scabby knees!" I start singing and dancing with Draco, I laugh and sing the song so loud that my throat starts to hurt. Suddenly Lucius and Narcissa Malfoy storm into the kitchen with worried faces, but all they get to see is Draco and I in mid-song, frozen in surprise.
"Oh my gosh! You almost gave us a heart attack! Never do that again! Thank goodness you're alright we thought you had gotten hurt! Are you alright?" Narcissa begins to shower me and Draco with kisses and hugs while Lucius watches over us with a scowl plastered on his face.
"Wendy and I got our Hogwarts letters!" Draco says happily. I nod my head and grin enthusiastically. Narcissa grins proudly and looks down at our Hogwarts letters.
"I'm so proud of you two! Oh Lucius, aren't you proud?" Narcissa says sweetly, she looks up at Lucius who now has a light-tipped smile plastered on his face. I bite my lip to stop me from laughing at Lucius while he grimaces as he tries to grin.
"Yes, very proud. Except that they both sound like they're dying when they're leaping for joy." Lucius says, he glares at Draco and I while we both just smile innocently. I sit down at the kitchen table slowly and cautiously gesture for Draco to do the same.
"Err… why don't we all have some breakfast?" I suggest timidly as Dobby; our house elf makes me my usual breakfast. I smile down at Dobby gratefully. Everyone ends up sitting down around the kitchen table and Dobby makes them breakfast.
"I suppose we will have to go to Diagon Alley. Please, open your letters so we can see what you'll need." Lucius says with a bored expression. Draco and I both rip open our Hogwarts letters, my eyes skim over the letter with excitement. It was time to go to Diagon Alley which meant I was finally going to get a wand, I smirked with anticipation.
"Here, have my Hogwarts letter, I've finished my breakfast! Hey Draco, do you want to come upstairs with me?" I pass my Hogwarts letter to Lucius before hopping out of my chair and racing off to my bedroom, I can hear Draco's footsteps behind me. I run into my room and hop onto my bed. Draco walks in after me and I grin cheekily at him, he grins mischievously back before he jumps on top of me and tackles me to the ground, I squeal in surprise as I roll off my bed, taking Draco with me.
"Get off me!" I scream as Draco sits on me and tickles me until I scream so loud he blocks his ears. I kick and punch Draco, but he won't get off, then an idea forms in my mind, I let out a jagged horrifying scream that sounds as if I'm screaming in pain, I wail and wail, I even pinch my skin until it hurts so much that tears start rolling down my cheeks.
"Ah! Wendy! Are you alright? I'm so sorry! Did I hurt you?" Draco asks, he quickly gets off me and puts his hands over his heart. I let out a cackle before I jump up onto my feet and smile wickedly. Draco glowers up at me from the floor.
"I'm so glad that you're so gullible, otherwise that plan would never have worked so many times." I smirk down at Draco and offer him my hand, he swats it away and pulls himself up.
"Well I'm glad that we're both going to Hogwarts. Imagine if only one of us got to go to Hogwarts!" Draco makes his eyes go huge as if he was really scared and I snort, smacking his arm playfully.
"Yay! We're going to Diagon Alley tomorrow you know! I can't wait to get my wand!" I say excitedly. Draco grins and we both get vacant, dreamy expressions on our faces. Suddenly, a big great snake slithers into the room which snaps both Draco and I into reality, Draco yelps and jumps onto my bed.
"Draco! Don't be a scaredy-cat you've lived with Nagini your whole life!" I groan before crouching down and patting Nagini, the snake. Nagini was basically mine, she is Lord Voldemort's but, right now she is mine and thanks to The Dark Lord I can speak Parseltongue, the language of snakes.
"Good morning Nagini, would you like breakfast? Did Luci not feed you?" I hiss, Nagini slowly nods her scaly head. In my head I silently curse Lucius for not making Nagini breakfast. I walk out of my bedroom and gesture for Draco to come.
"Come. Come!" I order Draco and Nagini before hurrying back to the kitchen. I open the cupboard and grab the cage that is filled with rats.
"Luci, can you please kill two? Nagini is hungry. Also, Luci you'll need to remember to feed Nagini when I'm at Hogwarts." I say, Lucius points his wand at two of the rats.
"Stupefy!" Lucius mummers, the two rats stop moving. I pick up the two rats and put the rest of the rats away. I begin to drop the rats.
"Nagini, Kill!" Before the rats even hit the floor Nagini lunges and snaps them up in one big bite, blood squirts all over the floor and I look away in disgust. Lucius points his wand at the floor and the blood disappears.
"Well one thing I'm overly excited about when I go to Hogwarts is not seeing Nagini again!" Draco says in disgust as he looks at Nagini. I smirk and then begin to laugh as Draco puts on an act of fearing Nagini, he hides under the table with an over exaggerated expression of fright. Draco then grins, remembering that he would be going to Hogwarts soon and that means leaving Nagini.
"Ah, Draco, I'm sorry to burst your bubble of happiness, but you will get to see Nagini again when we come back from Hogwarts!" I say with a hearty laugh; Draco's grin quickly slides off his face and a look of disappointment appears.
"Aw, but…" Draco groans and I hold a finger to his lips to shush him. Draco suddenly bites my finger and I leap away from him with a yelp of shock, Draco then takes off running and I quickly tear after him.
"I'm going to get you for that!" I yell angrily as I chase him up and down the many flights of stairs that are in the Manor. I soon corner Draco on the third floor, I let out a menacing growl as I walk slyly up to him. Draco lets out a tiny shriek before I pounce.
