This is what happens when one attempts to write five different pieces of work at the same time! (sigh) I would like to thank those of you who've read Collection #1, and the few who have reviewed. To be stark, I did not expect anyone to actually review, so thanks again!

Watching as the sun

Sets beyond the horizon.

A single tear falls.

My weapon in hand.

My country in great peril.

My friends' lives soon lost.

Harsh desert winds blow.

Bright sunlight glares, blinding sight.

Treasured finds await.

Eyes glitter in pain.

Pools of sadness reflect a

Soul in agony.

The flash of a blade

Within the blink of an eye-

Death of a tyrant.
