Jess bit her lip. She hardly knew the man. He had stumbled through the anomaly a few days ago, clearly dehydrated. All they could get out of him the first few days were the words "Helen" and "Grateful." Eventually he had opened up to one person. Jess. And that was why she was siting, watching the camera feed for the break room where he was currently sitting with his head in his hands. Suddenly, she stood up and walked determinedly towards the break room. Connor waved but she paid no attention to him or anyone.
Jess would wait no more.
These two would be a cute couple, I think.
