The hologram of the old man looks at each one of them. "So you kids must be the Digi Destined, you must be strong to have defeated Devimon." He said
"Who are you?" Tai asks
"Are you a friend of Devimons?" Matt asks
"Fear not I am a friend to all, and also a friend to none."
"I didn't think there'd be another human in this world.",Sora said with her hands on her hips.
"I am human, and I am not.",he said.
"Boy this guy is confusing." Mimi said.
He shook his head. "Actually I am Gennai. I couldn't reach you all because of Devimon's interference."
"Where are you?" Izzy asks
"I am speaking to you far away from File Island on the continent of Servo." Gennai said
"How long have you been here?" Sora asks
"Since before the beginning and after the end."
"Are you the one who got us stuck here?" Mimi asks
"It was not I it was...I do not know who." Gennai said making everyone depressed.
"Then you don't know how we get back to our world either?",Tk asks.
"No..I don't.",He said shaking his head.
"Well you're a fountain of information." Tai said
"Hey Gennai can you tell me what I'm doing here I'm not a Digidestined." Ash said
Gennai shakes his head. "No you are not, but your role is far more important than that. My boy you must harness the power that lies deep inside you, only then will your meaning become clear." Ash sweatdropped. "Is that a riddle? Cause I'm not good at those.",he said as he remembered back on Cinnabar Island.
"But Gennai how can we defeat these Digimon if they're stronger than Devimon?" Matt asks
"Well then I guess you'll have to be able to make your Digimon Digivolve once more." Gennai said
"We can Digivolve once more?" Agumon asks
"Yes but you'll need something special to do it. If you have the tags and crests your Digimon will Digivolve further." He said as a picture of the tag appeared.
"Well where can we find them?",Izzy asks.
"On the Continent of Server. I'll put a map in your computer so you can find me and the crests."Gennai said returning back to face them. "The crests are scattered because of Devimon and-" Suddenly the signal started to scramble.
"Hey what happened?" Squirtle asks
"He's transmission ended quite abruptly." Tentomon said
Izzy checks his laptop. "Well at least he was able to send us a map."
"So what should we do now?" Sora asks
"Simple we get off this mountain." Ash said.
"I'm with Ash on this the sooner we get of this mountain the sooner we can get something to eat." Tai said.
As the sun set they were all sitting down by a waterfall when Ash opens his backpack. "Come on out everybody!" Ash throws all his Pokeballs into the air and all his Pokemon appear.
They all looked around their surroundings. "Woah what is this place?",Bayleef asks.
"Wait did you just speak human language?" Cyndaquil asks.
"So did you!",Phanpy said.
"Ash what's going on here?",Tauros asks walking up to him.
"Alright everyone brace yourself when we saw those bright lights in the sky at Professor Oak's lab we somehow got transported to another world where you all can talk." Ash said. "And not only that, but there's these guys.",Pikachu said gesturing to the Digimon to come over.
"Hi there." Gomamon waved at them.
"What kind of Pokemon are those?" Totodile asks
"Not Pokemon.",Squirtle said. "Digimon."
"Are they friendly?" Primape asks.
"These ones are." Pidgeot said.
"You can trust us.",Gabumon said.
"We're all comrades.",Tentomon said to them. "No need to fret." They all looked to Ash first who simply nods his head before they all smiled and greeted them.
"The Pokemon and Digimon are getting along pretty well.",Joe said.
"Yeah these guys are really friendly we've traveled together for a long time." Ash said sitting down.
"Hey Ash what did you and your Pokemon do before you came here?" T.K asks
"Well before all this, we were traveling in our world in the Johto Region.",Ash explained. "We went there so we can compete in the Johto League."
"Johto league?",Agumon asks.
Ash nodded. "It's a competition where trainers come to and their Pokemon battle to see who's the strongest."
"Wow sounds intense." Joe said
"Yeah it was, but to enter it you have to collect these." Ash opens his jacket to reveal the 8 badges from Johto."Wow those are pretty." Mimi said looking at them.
"What are those?" Palmon asks.
"They're gym badges, I got them from defeating Gym Leaders.",Ash said.
"Wow Ash you think I could be a trainer?" T.K asks
"Sorry T.K you have to be at least 10 to travel around." Ash said
"Aw man." T.K groans
"So what's your world like?",Sora asks interested.
Ash smiles. "Well in my world. There are Pokemon everywhere like Digimon, the sea, sky, forest, mountains, etc. Humans and Pokemon get along with each other like family. There are people like me those are called Pokemon Trainers."
"When a trainer turns 10 they're allowed to get their first Pokemon and in Ash's case he got me." Pikachu said as Ash rubbed his head
"And I couldn't have asked for a better Pokemon cause after I got Pikachu I was able to get all of these Pokemon as well. They became my family." He said as all his Pokemon smiled.
They were amazed by these words."Ash how many Pokemon do you have with you?",Gabumon asks.
"47 but minus the 30 Tauros. 17.",Ash said and remembers something. "Oh! I almost forgot!",he takes off his backpack and takes out the egg.
"Wow an egg it looks almost like Patamon's." T.K said
"When this one hatches he'll be the newest member of our team." Ash smiles hugging the egg.
"Any idea what's inside?" Biyomon asks
"No. I don't care what's inside, it'll be an awesome Pokemon.",Ash said rubbing the eggs, he felt it glow a bit.
Biyomon smiles when something flies next to her. It was a light brown owl Pokemon with red wings. "That's the thing about Ash he's not picky about which Pokemon has so long as we work together."
"You really have a nice trainer.",She said
"Thanks I'm Noctowl." He said.
"Biyomon." The two flying creatures shake wings.
"So Ash how do keep track of all these Pokemon?" Izzy asks
"With this." Ash reaches into his pocket and pulls out his Pokedex. It's called a Pokedex. It has every detail for every Pokemon."
"So like handheld encylopedia?",Joe asks.
Ash nods. "Yeah, like this.",he opens it and the Pokdex began talking.
"I am Dexter, a Pokedex programmed by Prof. Oak for Pokémon Trainer Ash Ketchum from Pallet Town. Either stolen or broken, i cannot be replaced."
"Wow this Prof. Oak programmed this. I would love to meet him." Izzy said when Ash realizes something.
"Oh no Professor Oak! He and my mom must be so worried!" Ash said freaking out.
He then goes through his jacket and pulls out the PokeGear. "Found it!"
"What's that?" Tentomon asks.
"A way to contact home." Pikachu said
"Good luck we've been trying since we got here to contact home they're no way you'll be able to get a signal." Joe said when suddenly
"Oh thanks Arceus! Ash you're alive!" Professor Oak cheered from the PokeGear.
Everyone gasped and jawdropped.
"Am I glad to hear a familliar voice.",Ash sighs.
"Oh we've been searching all over for you. Your mother has been worried sick, but at least your safe and whoaaa!"
"ASH KETCHUM YOU HAVE A LOT OF EXPLAINING TO DO YOUNG MAN!" A loud voice yelled causing everyone to fall over.
"Oh no." Bulbasaur gulps.
"His mother." Squirtle said in fear.
Ash gets up. "H-hey mom.."
"Hey Mom? I've been worried sick about you young man you vanish without a trace and we've been searching everywhere for you!"
"It wasn't my fault! I was brought here for a reason!",he said defensively.
"Delia please calm down take a deep breath! Right now Ash is safe and we will find him just calm down." Prof. Oak said trying to calm her down.
"Actually Prof. You guys won't find us in Kanto."Pikachu said.
"Who was that?" Prof. Oak asks.
"Well that's the thing Prof. that was Pikachu." Ash said The line went quiet. "Hello?",he asks.
Suddenly they heard the sound of splashing water hitting something. "Either I'm tired from the searching or this is really happening." Delia said
"It's not just Pikachu mom all of my Pokemon can talk here." Ash said. He then looked at the others. "And mom i think you made my death."
"Ash what exactly is going on where you are?"
"I may be in a place where giant monsters are trying to kill me." Ash said when suddenly he hears a thud. "Hello?"
"Ash your mother just fainted." Prof. Oak said now speaking.
"Is she gone?",Joe asks.
"Yes she is. Tracy, Make sure she's OK?",Ash asks.
"I will and Ash please come home safe." Tracy said.
"I will.",Ash said.
"Ash may I have a word with Professor Oak I may have an idea." Izzy asks
"Uh sure." Ash hands it to him and sulks. "Oh Arceus if I don't make it home my mom is going to kill me."
Sora grabs his hand. "Hey don't worry we're all going home including you so don't think that way alright?"
Ash looked up at her in shock and blushed a bit. "Uh..okay..."
"Well now we just have to find a way to get to this Servo place." Tai said
"But how? We don't have the type of transportation."
"But do we really have to? Devimon is gone from the island and so are the black gears.",Joe said.
"Guys you heard Gennai if we want to go home we have to help save this place." Ash said
"I know that look." Squirlte said.
"Alright everyone get some rest cause tomorrow we're building a raft." Ash declared.
"Look at you being the leader.",Pikachu smiles.
The next morning they were chopping down trees to build the raft when Leomon and a large group of other Digimon appear to help them.
Ash had Primeape and Heracross take down trees. He had Squirtle, Lapras, Totodile, and Kingler tied to raft.
"So Ash what's the plan?" Mimi asks.
"Simple these guys are gonna pull us to Servo so we'll get there faster." Ash said
"We'll get there faster then a Gyarados!",Totodile hopped.
Mimi giggles. "Well aren't you just full of energy."
"He's been like that since i caught him.",Ash smirks.
"Hey guys look!" T.K yells as his egg started to hatch. Everyone gathered around and the egg as it opened to reveal a white little creature.
"Poyo!",it said.
"Hey my egg finally hatched!",Tk cheered and hugged it.
"Hey Ash. Try using the new feature on the Pokedex.",Izzy said.
Ash took it out and saw a new button. "Izzy when did you do this?" He pressed it and a new light appeared. It now shows Digimon data now. He pointed at the new baby.
"Poyomon, the Slime Digimon. A slimy digimon shaped like a jellyfish. It is said to be the most primitive of lifeforms. Its vitality and ability to adjust are greater than what you would expect from its small appearance."
"After you all went to bed I contacted Professor Oak and he told me how to transfer the data from my laptop onto your Pokedex so you can learn more about Digimon." Izzy said.
Ash's face grew into a grin. "Wow this is cool!"
"Prof. Oak is gonna flip when he finds out you were able to research Digimon while you were here." Pikachu smiled.
"Well what are we waiting for! Let's ride this raft all the way to Servo!" Tai said.
The water Pokémon got in the water as everyone gets on my raft.
"Thanks for everything Leomon. All of you guys.",Tai said.
"I wish you all the best of luck." Leomon said.
"Alright guys full speed ahead!" Ash yelled as the Water Pokemon took off and they were moving.
"Wow these guys are strong swimmers." Gabumon said.
"Well they were raised by a great trainer.",Pikachu smiled.
"Pikachu.",Ash said and pets him.
"Ugh I don't feel so good." Mimi said holding her stomach.
"I didn't account for the waves being so rough." Izzy said as waves rocked the raft.
Tk was playing with Poyomon until a wave hit them and Poyomon flew out of his hands. He quickly caught him. "Got ya!",he said in relief. As they continued a tidal wave appeared and shook them. "Where did that come from?" Pikachu asks
"Maybe a ship is passing nearby?",Joe asks.
"I don't see a boat around here.",Tai looked around. Suddenly something big pops out of the water. "An Island!?"
"That's not an Island! It's a Digmon!" Ash yelled as he returned everyone into their Pokeballs as a giant whale appears and it starts making rough waves.
Ash takes his Pokedex out. "Whamon is a giant digimon that lives in the deep Oceans of the Digital World, it's Jet Arrows are super powerful."
"And I thought Gyarados was aggressive!",Pikachu yells. It bellowed as it opens its mouth and the water current carries them inside the whale.
"I hope we don't give him a sore throat!" Sora said
"Actually it's the esophagus that leads to the stomach!" Izzy said
"Who cares about that?! We just got eaten!" Pikachu yelled
"Sooner or later this has to lead to an exit!" Sora yells
"I'm not going out that way!" Ash yells
"Me neither!" Mimi yells when something from above almost falls on them.
"What is that?!"
"Anti-Virus's! They must think we're bacteria!",Izzy exclaimed. Eventually they land in the stomach.
"At least that's over." Sora sighs.
"Where are we now?" Joe asks
"Most likely the stomach." Izzy said
"Isn't that where food goes after it gets eaten?" T.K asks
"Seems like it.",Matt said to his brother. Suddenly a red liquid came out and started to melt the raft.
"And it seems like we're about to be digested!" Pikachu said clinging to Ash in fear.
"Don't fall in!",Tai gulped as they backed into a circle.
"We gotta get out of here quickly before things get worse!"
Ash looks around trying to find a way out. "Guys look!"
They all look up to see a Black Gear at the top of the stomach. "So that's why Whamon was acting crazy!",Agumon said "We gotta get up there!" Tai said.
"I've got this Poison Ivy!" Palmon's claws extend into vines.
"Whoa that's like Vine whip." Ash said.
"Just like Bulbasaur.",Pikachu said.
Tai climbs the vines and uses his Digivice to destroy the Black Gear. When he came back down the stomach started to shake.
"I think Whamon is having tummy troubles!" Pikachu yells as a giant amount of water shoots them out of Whamon and up his spout sending them falling into the sea and destroying the raft in the process.
"I thought we'd never get outta there." Pikachu groans.
"Me neither now let's never speak of that again." Ash groaned as they grabbed onto a floating log.
The whale started to come near them "Go Away! Not again!" Mimi yells
"Sorry about that I must've had ate something bad." Whamon said.
"It's not your fault Whamon!",Biyomon called
"Yeah you had a black gear in you!",Sora agreed.
"Those Black Gears are a pain I bet that's the last one." Tai said.
"I bet you're wrong." Joe said
"My head finally feels clear now, thanks to you.",Whamon said.
"Whamon, do you know how far is the Servo Continent?" Tai asks.
"It's about 5 days from here."
"Great and our raft's broken." T.K groans.
"You're all going there?",Whamon asks. "Well why didn't you say so? I can take ya there. Consider it a sorry for trying to eat ya!"
Soon they were all riding atop of Whamon. "Wow this is really fast." Sora said.
"And a whole lot smoother than that raft." Izzy said.
"Now all we have to do is find the crests and tags that Devimon sealed away." Tai said.
"Did you say Devimon?" Whamon asks.
"Yeah you know him?" Ash asks
"Not about tags or crests, but awhile ago Devimon hid something at the bottom of the ocean. Its on the way to Server.",he said. "Just head inside me, this won't take long."
When they arrive at the underwater cave Whamon stays behind as the Digi Destine walk through the cave where they spot a building.
"Hey guys what's a convenience store doing here?" Ash asks
"Oh yeah in this world things from the real world are left behind here." Izzy explains. As they walked towards it a giant Mole like Digimon with a drill for a nose appears out of the ground.
"It's Drimogemon!",Biyomon gasps.
Ash takes his Pokdex out.
"Drimogemon, Digimon that moves underground at high speeds with the gigantic drill attached to its snout. It is an extremely rare Digimon to come across because it is always digging deep underground. It's signature moves are Drill Spin and Crusher Bone."
On his back Sora spots a Black Gear. "Guys look a Black Gear!"
"I knew they're were more of them." Joe said
"It is Lord Devimon's will that none shall pass!" Drimogemon said
"Tauros Take Down!" Ash yells as the Bull Pokemon appears and knocks Drimogemon back.
"We'll help Tauros, while you guys go and find the tags!",Agumon said to Tai.
"Bring it on! You think that Drill scares us? Think again." Gomamon said
"Gomamon Digivolve to..Ikkakumon!"
"Drill spin!",Drimogemon and Ikkakumon began to fight. The others took this chance to run in the store.
"Take this Earthquake!" Tauros slams his hooves into the ground causing the ground to shake and Drimogemon to fall to the ground. "Everyone hit him now!" Tauros said
"Tentomon Digivolve to...Kabuterimon!"
"Kabuterimon aim for the Black Gear!" Ikkakumon yells
"You got it! Electro Shocker!" The blasts destroys the Black Gear also causing an explosion in the store. Ash feels the impact of the explosion and falls forward crashing into Sora and Mimi.
"Sorry..",Ash groaned.
Both girls open their eyes to see their faces were a couple inches from his. "Uh no problem." Sora blushed.
"Yeah just an accident." Mimi blushed. They quickly got up.
"Hey uh anyone find the tags?!" Ash calls out.
"Ash look!" He turns to see Poyomon handing Matt a box.
Meanwhile outside Drimogemon had turned back to normal.
"My apologies for attacking you all.",he quickly said. "Wait! Where are the tags?",Gabumon asks.
"They should be in the store! Good luck finding them!",he leaves them.
Matt opens the box Poyomon gave him and inside were tags for all of them.
"There they are just like Gennai said." Izzy said
Ash reaches out and grabs his. "Hey if ours let our Digimon digivolve further, what will Ash's do?" Tai asks
"I don't know guess we'll find out when I find my crest." Ash said.
Soon they were all riding on Whamon with tags around their necks. Ash looked at his. "I just wonder..what's my crest?"
"Well whatever your crest is maybe it'll be a clue to what Gennai said." Pikachu said
"I hope so cause I don't have it in me to solve riddles."
Ash and his new friends make their way to the Sevro Continent to unlock the crests and save the Digital World.
