Functions
The Control Tower allows you to control all units at once. You can also command the units to play out an specific episode by installing a Episode chip into the system. However, the episodes must be installed in order, or else the tower will explode. This is not covered under the 50 years warranty.

My Tower exploded! What happened and can I fix it? Or is it normal?
No. You can't fix it. You probably installed the wrong chip. If you did not, then it is not normal and you should ditch the tower immediately and call 1800-MY-TOWER-BROKE-WAA-WAA-IM-SO-SAD-AND-DUMB-I-BROKE-THE-GREATEST-THING-IN-THE-WORLD-COULD-YOU-GIVE-ME-ONE-MORE-FOR-FREE.
The Tower won't do anything! And there's a weird symbol on all the screens! What happened?
Go ask the XANA unit.
The Jeremie unit insists on using the tower!
He wants to check it out. Don't worry, let him in. Just don't let him blow it up or dismantle it.
Troubleshooting
The XANA error
Description: The tower is not responding and there's the XANA symbol on all the screens.
Explanation: The XANA unit's been naughty and possessed the Tower
Solution: Get the Aelita unit to deactivate the tower. (That is, the Lyoko Towers, NOT the Control Tower)
The Jeremie error
Description: The tower's been dismantled
Explanation: The Jeremie unit was too curious and dismantled it.
Solution; Switch the Aelita unit to Fanfiction: Aelita's fury by adventure prince Mode and get her to smack the Jeremie unit.
The odd error
Description: The Tower's vandalized!
Explanation: Four words: Odd Della Robbia unit
Solution: Same as Jeremie error
