So many things come to a close... will they ever reopen?

Please say they do...

Someone once said "All good things but come to an end."

Why... Why must that be so true?

-X-

Orihime sighed and gazed at the picture she now kept by her bed.

So long since...

It was a freeze of Ulquiorra.

But so much isn't fixed yet...

He had just turned, answering her call. He hadn't expected the camera, so his face was one of mild surprise.

So much never can be said...

Orihime liked it because it made him seem a bit friendlier, a little like the kinder side she knew he had, but hid.

Wounds are still aching...

As she ran out the door to school, Orihime's heart was still heavy.

Scars on the heart that could so easily tear open...

A teen with bright orange hair caught her eye. "Ichigo!" she called, pushing away the bleak thoughts.

Filled with poison, the only antidote that I can't ever reach...

Ichigo turned slowly. "Oh... Orihime."

I'm not the only one who's missing something important...

His eyes didn't support the smile he forced on his face. They were still sad, empty.

Everyone is... He is...

"Nice day today, huh?" Orihime smiled gently as they started to walk to school.

We keep hiding it, unintentionally letting the poison seep in all the easier.

"Yeah."

The caramel-orange haired girl gazed ahead. Ichigo didn't bother to put up the "I'm fine, I don't care that Rukia, who I loved, is gone, why should I?" façade around her anymore. She had seen right through it.

He was just as hollow as she was.

Stop it! Orihime yelled at herself. Pull yourself together, being emo doesn't help anyone!

"Ichigo, if you could get Rukia to come back, would you?"

"Unless it would hurt her to."

Orihime nodded. She knew he would- he went to the Soul Society to save her once already. She felt the same for Ulquiorra. Maybe, there could be a way.

No.

Move on...

Try to move on.
