Oz's POV

I slowly crawled out of bed and headed towards the bathroom to wash up. I arrived at the sink and opened the faucet. The water began to run and i splashed the cold water onto my burning face. I looked into the mirror. Staring back was a pitiable blonde. Did I look like this in front of the rest of them at a time like this? No wonder Ada seemed worried. What am I doing? I'm not the only one who is suffering from the loss. Everyone is hurt deep down and i'm the only one sulking like this. I'm such an idiot.

I slapped my two cheeks and a sliver of determination entered my eyes, "Oz. You better get yourself together! You can't let the others worry about you like this! You have to hold yourself together! No matter what you have to smile!".

Then I closed the running faucet and went to dress up. I hesitated for a second as i was about to exit the room.

"Here it goes…"

"Oh! Onii-chan!(older brother)"

"Ada.." I smiled at my little sister who tried her best to cheer me up.

"Uh..Onii-chan? What's-"

"Ada...I'm fine...Don't worry...I've decided to move on" She looked worried, afraid I was forcing myself. "I'm sorry for causing trouble for you and the others...I realized that I mustn't waste time sulking and clinging on to the past when Alice sacrificed herself to protect me. Right?" I smiled

She smiled back as tears swelled up in her eyes. "Onii-chan…" she ran towards me and gave me a hug. I patted her head to comfort her.

"If you guys don't hurry up and eat your breakfast, it's gonna get cold." a sudden voice called out

"Gil…" I looked at the black-haired figure

He gave me a slight smile and headed back to the kitchen.

Meanwhile upstairs were Break and Sharon looking down at us. They, too, seemed to be relieved that I finally returned to normal.

"Ada! We better eat our breakfast now or we would be late."

"Umu!"

"Onii-chan! Hurry! We'll be late!"

"Ah! 'kay! I'll be right there!"

"Hurry!" Ada continued to nag

"I get it, I get it!" I wore my shoes and grabbed my bag. Immediately I dashed out the front door. Outside was a carriage and Ada waited impatiently besides it.

"God...Onii-chan! We'll be late!"

"Sigh...I get it, I get it"

She pouted.

We hopped onto the carriage and Break and Sharon walked up to the door.

"Oz-sama. Please be careful on your way."

I nodded "I understand. Thanks Sharon-chan"

She smiled.

"Brat." I looked at Break who was besides her "Have fun! There's lots of cute girls there! Tell me when you got yourself a girlfriend!"

"Ugh…eh?"

Sharon-chan smacked him on his head and he lied there out cold

"Ahem...Oz-sama. You are going not for matchmaking but rather for learning. Please don't mislead yourself." Sharon-chan warned

" I know, I know!" I look out the door and spotted Gil on the side. "Gil! I'll be leaving. Take care! I'll be back as soon as possible"

"Take care of your health Oz. If you need me, contact us. I'll be there as fast as I could"

"Umu! Thanks Gil" I smiled

"Then we'll be taking our leave minna-san(everyone)" Ada greeted

They nodded.

The carriage started to moving away from the mansion.

I looked back through the door and waved back. "I'll be back! See ya, guys!"

I saw them wave back. As we no longer were able to see them, I closed the door and sat down in my seat.

"Sigh." Then I smiled widely.

Today on! I'll be attending Lutwidge Academy.

"We've arrived, Onii-chan!"

"Wow! It's huge! Even though I came here before, I feel as if it grew bigger since i'm attending it now!"

That's right. I came here once with Uncle Oscar, Gil and...and...Alice. A gush of loneliness ran through me. Alice…

"Onii-chan?" Ada broke my train of thought

"Huh?"

"What are you waiting for? Hurry up and come!"

Nows not the time to think of such things. I have to move on.

"Oh! I'm coming!"

"Students. Today we have a new student joining us!" I heard the teacher inform the other student from the outside of the classroom. "You may come in, Oz-kun"

"O-Okay" I opened the door and entered the classroom. I was a bit nervous since i've never went to a school. I only had home schooling before.

I stood next to the teacher and looked at the class.

"Guys! This is Oz Vessalius (This is his real last name. In the anime they changed it to Bezarius. However, it is Vessalius in the manga.) Our new member. I hope you welcome him with the warmest effort you can. Oz-kun. Introduce yourself."

"Oh! Um...Nice you meet you all. I'm Oz Vessalius. I've always been home schooled, so this is the first time to be enrolled into a school. Please take care of me." I gave a smile

"Kyaa~! He's so handsome!" I heard someone across the room say

"I know right!"

"Vessalius? Huh? Isn't that the same last name as Ada Vessalius?"

"Huh? Now you mention it. What's their relationship?"

"Um...to answer that, I'm actually Ada's older brother" I interrupted the murmurs around the room.

"Eh?! I never knew she had a brother!" The gossip continued

"Me neither!"

"She has such a handsome brother!"

I looked around and spotted Ada at the side of the room smiling at me. I smiled back.

"W-! Wh-WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?!"" a familiar voice suddenly called out

"Huh?" I turn to see the figure "Ahh! It's you!"

"Ahh~ah! I didn't expect Elliot to be in the same class!"

" And?... Why are you here?" Elliot's eyes twitched

"Eh~? Didn't I tell you already? That Ada suggested that I should try coming to school since I have nothing better to do"

"And you agreed?" He seemed unpleased

"Mhmm! I was bored at home!"

"...sigh. I can care less but don't bother me in school"

"Eh~? Why we're friend aren't we?"

"When did we become friends?!"

"Um...Let's have lunch together. How about it?" Ada asked

"Good idea." Leo agreed

"No way! No way am I eating with this guy!" Elliot turn away ready to walk away

"Eh? Why not? Aren't we-" Suddenly a melody enter me ears. The same melody as the one in the pocket watch. Lacie. It wasn't from a music box or a piano. Someone was singing it.

"O-Onii-chan?"

"Lacie…"

"Eh?" Leo and Elliot looked at me

"Lacie...Someones singing it"

"Eh?! What did you say?" Elliot listened closely "You're right!"

It's coming from outside the school building. I Ran out to look for the owner of this voice. I dont understand either but...but...this voice is nostalgia. I arrived at a huge sakura tree. The voice stopped and no one was in sight. I looked around but there was no one.

"O-Onii-chan? What's wrong?" Ada caught up. She was panting. "The school's fated sakura tree? Whats wrong with it?"

"Uh...it's nothing." I turned and Elliot was there. He stared at me and I stared back. From the look in his eyes, he was also curious about the voice. It was certain we heard something.

"Uh...Um...Onii-chan! Elliot-san! Lets have lunch together? Okay?"

"Huh?" Elliot and I both turned to Ada.

"No way am I-" Elliot started but was cut off by Ada

"Lets go already! We're wasting our lunch time right now! We better hurry" She began to push us back towards the building.

"I get it, I get it! So stop pushing me! I can walk by myself!" Elliot continued to complain

Before leaving, I took one last glance at the Sakura tree. I had an uneasy feeling at the bottom of my heart. There must be something. Someone there…. But where did the person go?

*Meanwhile*

Red strands of hair blew along with the Sakura.

A figure stood on the Sakura tree, hiding behind the branches and leaves. She continued to observe the blonde until he disappeared from her sight.

"It's him. He's the one who has the watch with the melody. He... Can he help me find my answer?"
