Riley grimaced in pain as Ben inspected the shot.
"It went in pretty deep." Ben muttered and cursed as Riley jerked and winced in pain. "Sorry Ri." He added quickly.
"Don't be, unless you were the one who shot me." Riley gritted his teeth. Sweat began to trinkle down his skin.
"Ben, we have to get him to the hospital." Abi quickly grabbed her handkerchief to wipe Riley's face. Ben nodded as he tore the sleeve from his coat and wrapped it around Riley's arm for bandages.
"Wait, dude what are you doing? You know how much that coat cost?" Riley asked.
"You're worth more then this old coat Riley." Ben snapped and Riley looked hurt.
"But I bought that coat for you." He reminded him. "Geeze didn't even remember a gift I gave you." He added as Ben looked sheepsih.
"Well it might be the best preseant you got me if it saves your life." Gates finally reasoned and Riley had to agree with him on that one.
Ben quickly continued to speed through the streets as Riley laid his head on the glass in exhuastion and pain.
"Just hang in there buddy." Ben said softly under his breath. "Just hang in there." He groaned when they came across a traffic jam. "Great, this is just great!" He hit the steering wheel in frusteration when he saw that there was no nearby sidewalk to cut across on.
"Riley? Riley?" Abi called over to her friend worriedly. "Riley?
Riley's eyes had rolled back all of a sudden and his body snapped and began to jerk back and forth.
"Oh my God, Ben, Riley's having a seizure!" Screamed Abi and Ben turned in horror just in time to see foam coming from his best friend's mouth as his body flopped this way and that on the passengers seat.
He scanned the traffic and saw a small opening beside the railes of the highway and the car.
"Hang on everyone." He gritted his teeth and sped forward hoping to God he would get to the hospital in time, alive and in one peice...
