Tadashi had raced through the building, the flames seeming to recede as he passed them.
And then he found Callaghan.
"Professor, we have to get out of here!" Tadashi panted. Catching his breath, he took everything in and quickly became bewildered. He had expected the professor to be unconscious or moving towards an exit, not standing around with Hiro's...
"What are you doing? Hiro can always make more microbots... Unless..." Tadashi looked pleadingly at Callaghan, hoping his suspicions were wrong- that the older man had simply been as reckless as himself, just trying to save Hiro's invention rather than steal it.
"I don't have time for this."
Tadashi looked up, horrified, "What sort of monster steals from a child? But in any case, I won't let you." Tadashi motioned with a hand and the flames moved towards Callaghan.
Callaghan tilted his head, summoning the microbots to himself, "I'm the monster? I'm not some mutant and besides, all of this is for Abby. Krei will regret the day..."
Tadashi just walked up to him, the flames blocking Callaghan's escape. Closer and closer, and then he collapsed. Behind him was a man in a red mask with big black circles around his eyes. "Damnit, I was hoping you were Bea Arthur."
Callaghan tilted his head, "Who are you?"
"I am the terror that flaps in the night..." Deadpool said in reply as he picked Tadashi up and flung him over his shoulder.
Callaghan motioned for the microbots.
"I wouldn't do that if I were you. This guy is only going to ruin whatever mischief you have planned."
Callaghan closed his eyes, briefly considering he would be no better than Krei if he let this weirdo take Tadashi.
"Don't tell me you noticed him, senpai?!" Deadpool grinned as he pulled a remote from one of his punches.
"Just, just promise me he won't be harmed, wherever you're going," Callaghan said, the microbots aimed at Deadpool.
"My client is too interested in his powers to hurt him. And you're gonna need those baby bots to shield you when the bomb goes off."
"What?!" Callaghan called back the microbots, as a portal emerged. Deadpool grinned under his mask and walked though it, singing something about love being an open door.

"If it is a lie, he must have rehearsed it because his heart rate is normal," Baymax mused. The entire team was crammed in the prison visiting room, along with Callaghan's lawyer.
Fred glanced over at the lawyer before continuing to scribble something furiously.
"So you don't know if Tadashi is even alive, much less where he is," Hiro hissed. "You're even worse than I thought. No wonder Abby wants not-"
"You can't possibly hate me more than I do myself but I am trying to make it right," Callaghan cut him off.
"All we have to do is find the kidnapper," Go-Go mused.
Fred chuckled and pulled up his drawing for everyone to see, "He's called Wade Wilson, aka Deadpool. Most likely the one from the Marvel 616."
"You mean like an alternate universe?" Wasabi chirped.
"The kidnapper did look just like that," Callaghan added.
"Aren't there doubles of everyone in alternate universes?" Honey asked.
Fred moved next to the lawyer, "Yep. In the 616, Jennifer here is the Sensational She-Hulk."
Ms. Walters blinked, "The what now?"
"Where this kidnapper came from, you're not just a lawyer but also this super powered green giant," Fred beamed. Ms. Walters just shook her head in disbelief.
"So I guess we go to the 616?" Wasabi said.
"Some of you," Abby Callaghan said as she entered the room, making eye contact with everyone but the professor . "In case this is some plot of the professor, San Fransokyo will need protection. Hiro, Baymax and Wasabi will come with me and we'll search for the kidnapper there."
"Aw, man, but I know so much about the multiverse!" Fred moaned.
"From comic books. We need someone who specializes in the real science of parallel worlds," Abby explained. She then stared directly at her father, "If this is some sort of trap, you'd best speak up now."
"I owe Hiro and Baymax as much as you do. This is my attempt to make things right too," Callaghan replied, "It's the least I can do."

Tadashi awoke on a soft bed. He blinked, taking in the large room with a small flame he conjured from his palm. In the dark, it seemed like some sort of palace. He dropped the flame in his confusion, slightly burning the sheets and then hastily putting out the fire.
Green eyes studied him from one of the portraits in the room before pulling away. "At this rate, he'll burn down the whole palace. I still think it's safer to keep him in the dungeon." One of his older brothers shook his head, "We won't get his help if we lock him up. Just think back to your little misadventure in Arendelle. You had better luck with that princess at the coronation than you did with the queen in the prison, little brother." The youngest brother looked stricken, "You don't mean..." "Yes, l do. It's up to you to get this young man on our side, Hans."
